  1. it opens fine, you just seem to be running an outdated version of pokesav. get the latest one for HG/SS from http://projectpokemon.org/editing/pokesav/pokesavdownload.php
  2. can you post your save so we can look through it?
  3. sounds like you're opening applocale with some other language instead of Japanese. You can either use the character map/google translate or w/e for Japanese text and then just copy and paste it into the pokesav that's running with applocale
  4. The ??? question has been asked many times, check the forums in the future but basically it is because you're not running it with applocale. As to why the codes don't work. Is because I'm guessing you're using a patched game (kazo/wataru or w/e) when you patch the game the Game ID changes so when you try the codes you're basically trying to use codes meant for *another* game.
  5. Paint.NET is basically Paint....+photoshop features....for free It's pure WIN
  6. To put it simply it's the names of pokemon in japanese that way they are 'legit' for people who will trade them to their region's game whenever it becomes available
  7. it's a bug fix with the box 5 AR code output if I read the changelog correctly.
  8. nice find, if you haven't already or someone else should add it to the wiki.
  9. except damio, anyways AIM for friends/MSN for family
  10. Great job on the translation Kazo it's looking great. Keep up the great work, if I can help with anything just hit me up. Later and once again props!
  11. I've been away for a while but since i'm back, figured I'd do my own half assed translation probably into spanish instead of english since kazo and others seem to have that well covered but anyways back to the topic. The "Fix": 1) Run thenewpoketext and follow the instructions to the point of creating the tmp folder and you get the error that says something along the lines of msg.narc not found. 2) As Kazo pointed out, you now have to copy the file "7" from "a/0/2/" to "msgdata/" and RENAME it "msg.narc" After that you'll be able to create your .xml file and then do whatever you want with it.

    IRC Problem.

hmm have you tried connecting to 69.61.33.26 through port 6667 ?
  14. I forget what emulator for gba it was possibly VBA set to 128kb save type i think it was works just fine, it's late and I can't remember but i'd say google something along those lines.
  15. I remember dial up =/ I feel your pain
  16. I leave you with this: http://survivingtheworld.net/Recitation17.html And Laugh as I walk away for an early lunch.
  17. It will eventually, but it's not supported just yet.
  18. if you didn't notice right next to the editor option it says Not yet functional, that's why.
  19. some of those saves from what i've seen are already R4 saves except in order to upload it to gamefaqs people change the extension, so try changing it back from .duc or w/e to .sav without using the online converter
  20. Your save is fine your no$gba.ini is set to save as Compressed I think when it should be Raw. This is the line you should look for in your no$gba.ini SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed and replace it with SAV/SNA File Format == Raw This is how my complete no$gba.ini looks like for those that want to copy/paste over theirs. Also attached is your save in Raw format (512kb)
  21. It's because it's not supported yet. Preferences to the features Pokesav lacked were given priority (Dex Editing and ARDS support) eventually it'll have .pkm editing support.
  22. Randomly poking around the overlay files from platinum I ran into these..they seem like certificates I think.
  23. I'll make it as simple as I can. This is what I do when I don't get a save with the right file size with rudolph's tool. 1) Save Twice in a row in your retail game BEFORE ripping out the save with Rudolph's tool. 2) Rip the save with Rudolph's Tool. 3) Load up that Ripped save file with no$gba (make sure the .ini line that says save type has been changed from Uncompress to RAW) 4) Once the game is loaded save your game twice again and exit no$gba (this should fix the file size and other random stuff) 5) Use the 'new' save made by no$gba and load it up to PPSE
