  1. alright fixed the evolution problem, check the first post in a couple of minutes making new patches
  2. Anyone happen to have a save file with a pokemon that's about to evolve? If so please PM it to me so that I can test for a fix to this bug, thanks!
  3. Yeah you'll see random japanese messages in battles since all of those come from 16.txt and it's not fully translated though. Remember this is still a Beta patch not a 'real' v1 so that we can find bugs early on and not have to worry about them all at once. Looking into the evolution problem right now thanks!

  5. alright just put up the beta patch for white and will be going back a couple of pages to compile the things that need to be fixed, once again thanks for the feedback!
  6. Alright finally back home, going to whip up the same patch but for white here momentarily check the first post in a couple minutes. Thanks for the feed back so far guys, it beats having to go through all of that by myself.

  8. Just pulled what we have in the git and compiled a patch, cause I like feeling lurkers/can't verify the accuracy of all the changes being made by myself. It's by no means anywhere near being complete but this is what the community has put together so far, enjoy! P.S. Don't forget the feedback, try to group them up and avoid replying with *just one* report of what needs to be fixed.
  9. Yup that is the git we put up for those who wish to translate the story. Sorry I've been busy going back doing quality check on the stuff that has been submitted to the git, fixing/fixed up some stuff. Working on 80(mystery gift) right now and then i'll push that up with the other things from 16 that i've done since then.
  10. Yeah a patch will be out when 16 and 17 are ready, I've been working on 16 as much as I can but going back and fixing other files and making sure that they reflect well in the game, as for your question we don't host roms or anything all we will release is a patch.

  14. Hey guys just dropping in for an update for those of you who are lurking and not checking the first post. I'm going to call it a night here soon cause I got an early class tomorrow but I should be back to it again afterwards, I have 3 other people helping me out with file 16 right now. njt is translating it, mattmagician and Karire are proof reading and localizing and finally I'm doing a second pass over their work as I format it back into the file. You can check our progress on it at the git which I just updated at the following address: http://github.com/projectpokemon/Pokemon-Black-White-Translation-Files/blob/master/0000/0016.txt as you can see there is progress but we still got a lot to go! This is the file I want to get done before a v1 release is ready (since all of it is battle text) but if Kazo feels like it's enough for a v1 I'll let him do a v1 release. Anyways thanks for hanging/lurking around! P.S. I'm liking the graphics some of you may want to contact Poryhack our resident graphics person for more info on how to edit those files.

  16. Thanks for the contribution! Not sure how soon we can get a v1 out right now I'm working with what njt did earlier on 16.txt but it's 1k+ lines of: \xf000Ă\x0001\x0000 fainted! The wild \xf000Ă\x0001\x0000 fainted! The foe's \xf000Ă\x0001\x0000 fainted! \xf000Ă\x0001\x0000 \xffferegained health! and the sort, so keeping the format and localizing is taking quite some time not to mention it goes on into 17.txt i believe. Sorry for the delays but we're trying to get a v1 out asap, just hang with us for now. thanks!

  18. Yeah I think that's what most people are using to get an idea of what is what and going from there. Also if people could start using the spoiler tags when they post something it'd be appreciated as to make things easier to read. I'll commit all the changes at some point tomorrow to get everyone up to date for now I'm going to sleep it's 4AM here.. keep up the great work and remember to check the first post for anything new, the battle related text is what we seem to need the most now for a v1 release so hopefully we'll have that ready by tomorrow night.

  20. Yeah already this one it's the Isshu Dex/Nat Dex sort of info I believe Kazo said he did them but the attack descriptions aren't done, please check the first post to see what is needed for the most part for a v1 release thanks!

  22. yeah that's correct, for now we're just putting the english ones where the hiragana would be since most people like to press A through intros and that'd be the default but yes in theory a bilingual translation should be possible.
