    I'm on Android and I can't see the Unown challenge despite having every Unown form deposited. So who knows what the deal is there.

    I'd assume that the generation algorithm is the same for all of these Pokemon with the OT/ID/Secret ID being the only difference.

    I just checked the save in PKHeX and it still only has 425 Mews.

    Yeah that was my impression. Mega Man Zero 3 had something identical. It could send a special battle chip to Mega Man Battle Network 4, which was also once per cart. But like with Ranger, you can use a homebrew program to completely wipe the save so you could send more of that battle chip.

    Only way I know to reset the flag is to use a DS homebrew program to completely wipe the save.

    I hope you don't need Go and Let's Go to get it in Gen 8. A lot of Pokemon players either don't care about Go or lack a smartphone.

    So that points to the second possibility I listed. Wouldn't make sense to leave that last party spot empty when they could easily fill it with one more Mew.

    I can think of a couple of possibilities for the empty spot: 1. They never generated a sixth party Mew because it's impossible to have a completely empty party after you get your starter. 2. They released that non-Mew Pokemon then generated the last Mew before cloning the save to the carts that were sent out. Either sounds possible considering none of the carts seen in the wild have been untouched. Regardless, it's still absolutely amazing that you managed to generate these five with those pesky trash bytes intact.

    It's likely 07/07/2003 (07/07/2002 when playing in a language other than Spanish), since July 7th is the data of the Japanese festival Tanabata, which Jirachi is inspired by.

    This is the variant I got with my Japanese copy of Colosseum back in 2015. Guess the Japanese eBay seller I got it from pre-ordered at a Pokemon Center or got it from someone else who did.

    I mean it has all of the European language Aurora Ticket Wonder Cards. We found that out during the effort Real96 helped with.

    On this note, I realized that getting our hands on the Europe Aurora Ticket ROM would be VERY useful because it contains ALL of the Wonder Cards AND can send to Emerald in addition to FRLG.

    All of the known US and European Gen 4 and 5 distro ROMs have been dumped and can be found via a Google search. @ajxpk Yeah, I think all the Wonder Cards that'll show up have already done so. Guess now we can move onto disassembling the Aurora Ticket ROM and see how we can get it to send to everything.

    That's also supported by its Japanese name, Kamitsurugi (カミツルギ). I'm seeing that kami written as 紙 means "paper" while kami written as 神 means "deity" or "God". "Tsurugi" written as 剣 means "sword". So it could either mean "paper sword" or "deity/God sword". Or maybe even "paper deity/God sword". Hard to say, really. I'm also seeing "kartana" is Sanskrit for "cutting" (written as कर्तन), which is also a fitting meaning. It should also be noted that Kartana is currently the only Pokemon that learns Cut by level up, and many of its other level up moves involve cutting or slashing (Air Cutter, Razor Leaf and Sacred Sword to name a few). Man, GameFreak REALLY thought this out. And some fans say they're running out of ideas.

    I don't have any experience with digging into ROMs.

    Sounds like it could be an Aurora Ticket ROM with the Mystic Ticket .wc3 injected. Does the ROM you found have a select screen for different variations of the Mystic Ticket or is it just the TCG World Championships 2005 one?

    What's the status on the multiboot collection? Any new ones obtained or that can be obtained?

    Since this is a TCG tie-in, I expect this'll come to the West sometime.

    So the reason I didn't get any name issues was because I injected the .pk1 into a Gen 1 VC save then traded to Gen 2 VC. Which is exactly what I figured.

    I never got the VC Mew nickname issue on Gen 2. Though I traded from legit Gen 1 VC to legit Gold VC so maybe that's the reason. I'd test a Gen 1 VC to Crystal VC trade but I'm not far enough in Crystal yet.
