  1. You can make patches for Rom hacks. Don’t place straight up ROMs on our site. It is against the rules. Don’t break the rules again.
  2. Check pret’s disassembly of the games. He has names for each flag. What you’re looking for might be named. edit - here: https://github.com/pret/pokeyellow/blob/3ce276892c1b97ae893d319125b13fed936d14f2/constants/event_constants.asm you may have to trigger flags for the win/lose conditions as tho you were playing the game. It might not be a single flag controlling the species/team, but rather the win/lose flags working in unison.
  3. Probably because most if not all Gen 2 carts are dead by now. They were only preserved save backups or fancy battery replacement. FYI we probably shouldn’t link to places where people have to buy stuff. Can end badly. Won’t want that on our heads.
  4. Doesn't look like PKHeX supports wc5full. Well you can just keep the size the same as a wc5 (by trimming out the front), it would work.
  5. Not that I can remember. The only “Pokémon” distribution via e-reader that I can remember is Lati@s via southern island. Everything else to my memory, were non-Pokémon (decor/items/battles)
  6. I said other tickets. I wasn’t talking about the Eon Ticket. I was answering your question. See, if you want to inject them, they won’t be legitimate. Are you sure you want to know that? Or you don’t care about legitimacy?
  7. The event ended. There was a way to get the tickets, by sending in your carts to Nintendo of Italy, but I think even that campaign ended. (Probably 2-3 years ago by now) There are distribution carts in the wild, but those are probably cloned and/or injected, and not everyone regards those as legitimate.
  8. No, once bred and obtained in Gen 7, it cannot legally be moved to Gen 5.
  9. Saves on the SD card are naturally console encrypted. Furthermore, you can’t load back an older version of the save; the internal memory of the 3DS keeps track of versions of the save, and prevents you from loading back an older version. To avoid all of that, the simplest method (and also one we can explain to newbies easily) is for you to extract the save with CFW + homebrew. and in case it hasn’t been mentioned enough, you can’t trade from 3DS to PC.
  10. Cool, just keep an eye if it happens again down the road. Barring the fact that the game had a glitch that involved save the wiping, it could have happened cause the cart is old and have issues writing the save or overwriting parts of the partition.
  11. Not the correct place to ask these questions. In the future, start your own thread for this kind of question
  12. This kind of transfer is not intended atm. Anything you do so will be illegal. Wait for HOME support to be updated.
  13. Seems like the save glitched out. Maybe try using the reader to completely delete your save. I’ve had similar stuff happen to my Crystal save before (mons appeared in my PC, and the corruption spread, overwriting other PC slots), and even wiping the save in-game carried the glitchiness over to a new save. Tho, if wiping the save using the reader didn’t fix it, then it’s possibly a cart issue. [to elaborate, I originally gave up a PC box to corruption, and it stayed for a while. Like I was able to play normally after forsaking that one box. But eventually I noticed some mons going missing, as tho the corruption spread]
  14. Just wait for a stable update, for crying out loud. and you won’t “lose it for good”. Just keep it in the save. Or back it up into a file. Just wait patiently, alright. :3
  15. Because you can play Japanese saves in Japanese games? Pokemon exists in 6 languages in Gen 1.. English French German Italian Spanish Japanese. Theres also Korean in Gen 2, and that has limited connectivity to the non-Japanese games.
  16. I'm not asking about PKHeX update. I'm saying PLA update. The game itself. On another note, how are you transferring the save from your Switch to the computer?
  17. Did you get the message after installing the recent PLA update?
  18. You gotta believe me, sometimes when people insist they're using in-game saving, they're actually using state saves using the emulator's menu. Hence why I had to clarify you gotta press the button to open up the menu. Hmm, in any case, upload the save for us to see. Also make sure you've played the game far enough (got starter, can open PC and view the boxes).
  19. What language? Just so you know, you can’t load Japanese mons into a non-Japanese save, and vice versa. Cross language support in the games (in that sense) weren’t even a thing until Gen 3, and even then it’ll be limited. It’ll only fully become a thing in Gen 5.
  20. Geez, it’s almost as tho this thread isn’t for legality errors, and general questions is welcome. wait, no, this is the legality errors thread. What are you doing here? (anyhow, PKHeX usually don’t support saves that change due to a version update. That is to be expected)
  21. Make sure you save in-game (pressing start/x then save), instead of using state saves.
