  1. Hey no need to be sorry. Nah, the received hours/date is stored in the save. Only a record of receiving the gift is stored in the save. Changing that record won't make it redeemable in-game tho. Also, nah, if I'm not mistaken the meta is merely information the BCAT uses, and we won't need it for anything. Well, just to be clear, if you wanna modify the records, it's gonna be save editing. While PKHeX can view the date/time under their block editor, I don't think you can edit them just yet. (there's no plugin to edit them right now as well) I would say any date/time is likely fine, since it follow's Switch's date/time, not server's date/time. I'm under the impression you're referring to meta editing, and no, that's not what I'm referring to. The 'record' that effectively shows that you've performed the act of receiving the gift, is stored in the save. Like if you go view the Mystery Gift album now, you should see a few entries (if you've received gifts before) But it's just a record, nothing else. There's no editor for that yet.
  2. Little update on this issue; the changes are instead Event constants: 188: changed to 1 246: changed to 6 Then add the item to your bag and you can go get Arceus. (https://discord.com/channels/343093766477053953/631819428882808833/959235028280303637) To change them: Then Save. So for example, to change Event Constant 188: Remember to hit save at the end.
  3. If I’m not mistaken it’s possible btt it very very iffy? in any case just play on your Wii just to get past the roadblock.
  4. Typically getting the starter, gaining access to the PC, getting the Pokédex. Just check at each point (Also, I clearly don't know the checkpoints in Ranch)
  5. Using "YOSHI" is probably a play on the old rumour that Yoshi was programmed into Pokémon as a secret 152th Pokémon. It also helped to promote other Nintendo properties. The whole "RA" "RB" ""BA" "BB" is just something they did to signify the Pokémon being distributed by a different machine. Like PCNY(a-d), LINK(E,W), LUIGI(E,W)
  6. Providing documents to allege you received it for a 15-20 year old event typically isn't enough to cut it. Would probably need contributions and matching stories from other users too. Well keep your eyes glued on the various Gen 1 threads, any new info would probably be there. Until it satisfies a few factors, it probably won't get added. Cheers.
  7. Whether there's fixed PID depends on what the image says. Yeah in this case, the shown Tapu, Metagross, Tyranitar, doesn't have fixed PID. And the shown Eevee, Ash-Greninja card, Zamazenta, has fixed PID. As for rerolling the PID with PKHeX, that isn't a good idea. Some stuff have generation algorithms, so you can't just randomly reroll. It might be better to just drag the wonder card into the left side of PKHeX again, and observe if the PID changes.
  8. I made a slight edit to that post, so check it out. Anyway you have a nice day too
  9. Don't take this the wrong way, but do understand that I'm not gonna sit here and list every event that has fixed PID. You're gonna just have to take the event file you're interested in and load it in PKHeX, or load up the event gallery page we have here. For example, this is the PGL shiny koko Notice how it doesn't say fixed PID. And any fixed PID would be listed there: (Do note for Ash-Greninja's case, it can have any non-shiny PID, but once the wonder card is generated by the Demo, that wonder card's PID is locked. I'm using this image as an example of how I have it handled in the format ) We run the wonder cards through a program that would generate a HTML that our site can use. And the program checks whether the PID for that event is static or dynamic. So if there's a picture-esque summary, the PID data has been checked. Here are some other examples from other generations:
  10. They're generally random, but there's a few that is fixed
  11. Try transferring a different mon and let us know how it goes. also, let us take a look at this Flabebe file.
  12. Certain data are too hard to verify as true, by PKHeX standards. Additionally, make sure you’re not using a VC save to import events that were limited to retail carts.
  13. PKHeX can read DSV just fine. If it’s throwing that message, I assume you’re not saving in-game, and using the emus’ state save option. use the proper in-game menu and save the game twice. Then close the emulator. Then try again.
  14. I know you said it is a real copy, but it is possible you have a fake copy (and you just couldn't tell), and Checkpoint extracted the data from the correct partition. Except it would only be accurate if it were a real game, hence why correct partition but wrong file. Also, if you 'restored' this bad file and yet you were able to progress the game, it just sounds like your save is somewhere else.. As tho your save isn't in the common save partition. (and the reason why the file of a different game exists is.. maybe someone did a crappy job and tried to overwrite a game or something, who knows) But yeah, try with TWL save tool and see what the result is. I know sometimes people have issues with Checkpoint, and TWL save tool seems to go around that.
  15. Export your save with Checkpoint. keep a safe unedited backup somewhere. Download the pk file. Inject the pk file into your save. restore the edited save with Checkpoint.

    Pkhex bug?

I think Met location Changes? I can’t say for sure as I’m not looking at it right now. Get Yveltal for Max Lair in Shield from the Encounter database, then compare them

    Pkhex bug?

It can be shared, thus it can be in Sword. When in doubt generate one from Encounter Database and compare them.
  18. For Pokémon games on the Switch, the wonder card isn’t stored in the save. The best you could do is inject the item + enable the event flags. I’ve not seen reports of bans from simple injects. The bans almost always trickle in from the CFW side of things, and it being related to piracy or having “impossible” things on your Switch. For the sake of clarity, I’ll reiterate and elaborate my point. Unlike previous generations, you cannot inject the wonder card to receive the item in-game. The way the games on the Switch work, is that they auto redeem it for you. There is a “wonder card record”, but all it does is record the wonder cards that you’ve received. Doesn’t allow you to receive in-game. Given how it doesn’t do much, I don’t think an editor for that exists at this time
  19. Chances are. There are saves with event Pokémon (or events that came directly from distribution carts, whether the distribution carts were original or cloned) floating around. Whether you should keep it, depends if you find those “acceptable”. (The data is indistinguishable from the original run of the event. However some kind of hack had to be used for those to be playable)
  20. Yes. Mt Battle Ho-Oh is in all Colo, XD Lugia is in all.. XD. Thing is you gotta think about the requirements to get them. FYI They weren’t required for Gen 3 Nat dex completion.
  21. Feebas is possibly the most time consuming, ignoring Mythicals + Ho-Oh & Lugia. Getting all the legendary beasts also qualify, if you only have one copy of FRLG and no Colosseum. For the record: Mew - some form of hacking non present day Celebi - JP Colo Bonus Disc Jirachi - US Colo Bonus Disc Deoxys - some form of hacking in present day Ho-Oh - Colodrum Mt Battle Lugia - Gale of Darkness
  22. I don’t think it’s documented. You’ll need a directly before and directly after save to compare and see which flag values were changed.
