  1. I can't see the video, could be region locked on youtube.
  2. Yeah he’s basically saying he used PKHeX to fix the dead battery, after dumping the save with GBA backup tools right? In all honestly I’m not sure if that’s accurate way to deal with dead battery. It may be possible that when your RTC is resetted, the clock will still run, but only while you’re playing the game, but I cannot be certain, as I do not have a GBA and dead battery cart with me now to confirm. Also, I'm not entirely certain, but I think part of the steps from the guy above mentions running the save file on a GBA flashcart the rest of the way? In that case, it won't work if you send it back to a GBA cart... If you decide to proceed, it’ll be at your own risk
  3. erm. Any NDS flash cart that can run homebrew, and can run on a NDS should work fine. Note: If your intent is to fix the berry glitch, alternatively, connecting your GBA with RS to a second GBA, that has FRLG or Emerald. (instructions and various other options here) BTW, Emerald doesn't experience Berry Glitch, unless the internal battery is dead. If your internal Battery for RSE is dead, you won't be able to repair it with PKHeX.
  4. Whoa whoa. I'm not looking for extremely precise information (though it'll be good for some of our trustworthy members to know/to have the flame passed down to them, even if it is not public). Not having information passed down to the next generation typically leads to lost information, and eventually, the death of a civilization. Don't even need the exact steps. Let's say if I'm told a NDS flash cart could overwrite a dev cart, that's pretty much enough information to detail how bloody easy it is. We previously already had an inkling that a certain mass gba reader could act as a rewriter for dev carts. It was previously speculated that these event carts were likely dupes to begin with. As much as this fear is well founded, given that we already have the information that people are rewriting dev carts to sell as event carts, I think it has already been happening behind our community's back. After all, people who were able to obtain the writer and the dev carts, likely already had this information at their disposal when they made the purchase, and they had the past 10-15 years to make all the modifications they want, and that's excluding any suspicious/unscrupulous activity. People with the tools and the devcarts has been doing this for years. If they were going to contribute them as a part of preservation, they had 10-15 years to do it. They probably already made up their minds a long time ago, regardless whether to hoard or sell as modified duplicate copies, just like how many others made up their minds a long time to ago that private preservation is better than a public preservation. I'm not arguing which view is better, as I'm sure there's merits to either argument, but I'm just saying that the situation has been dire for this long, just that we weren't aware of it. I don't see how this information would potentially make things worse, when I imagine unscrupulous actors likely bought up all the dev carts they could find to resell as events, and they had over a decade to do it.
  5. Not entirely true. You can use those tools even if you're on original hardware. You probably just don't have access to them. 1. You can use a NDS/NDS lite and a DS flash cart to back up the save of your cartridge. With that, our guide would work for you. Once you get the save, it can be edited with PKHeX. 2. Even for original carts on GBA (let's say you don't have a NDS), Action replay and Gamesharks exists (as seen below). They work with original hardware. I *think* the first edition of these devices came out even before VBA emulator was properly a thing. Besides cheat codes, some of these can back up GBA saves too, which can in turn be used with PKHeX. (This is how I backed up my older saves before the NDS came out) In any case, these are probably a helluva expensive, compared to when I got mine. image source 1, 2, 3 So, assuming you don't have access to the above 2 options, hence why you're going through the trouble to glitzer pop: Before we continue, I need to ask you, which guide are you following to do Glitzer Popping? Are you doing Double Corruption, and are you using Seasor or Dots? If you did it via watching youtube videos, there's already one that exists: I used the method above to obtain the SEASOR Caterpie, which I then used to obtain Pokémon that has the Fateful Flag
  6. Does your Emerald have all badges, and does the Mew obey your Emerald trainer in battle? edit: If you get a message like the one above, it's because your Mew is missing the Fateful Encounter flag. A sign that the flag is missing, is that Mew won't obey you (most of the time), even when you have all badges. In the Gen 3 games, it shares this trait with Deoxys. Now that we identified the issue: 1. Use editing tools to give it the flag or 2. Use a cheat code to give the flag, or 3. Glitzer pop another Mew, but this time ensure it has the flag.
  7. Is your Nintendo Switch hacked/modified (has CFW or homebrew on it)? If it isn't, then there's no way. Regardless if hacking/adding Pokémon/manipulating saves/trading with someone that has a manipulated save, a modified Switch is required somewhere along the process. Only modified Switch can import and export saves. If your Switch is modified, we've got a guide for you, in relation to managing saves on a modified Switch. If your Switch is NOT modified, you could try asking for someone to trade you modded Pokémon via here, but note that Nintendo Online requires a paid subscription, and also modified Switches has a risk of being banned. I think people will be less inclined due to those reasons. edit: You could opt to get your Switch modified (if it isn't), but only if it's a pre-Mariko unit.
  8. Before I begin this article, I need to acknowledge that the information came from Chrales and Kelven91. Without dedicated and hardworking Pokémon GO dataminers, no one would ever have such information way in advance. Initially found in the gamemaster as "NOEVOLVE" (6 days ago, as of writing), it appears that it has now been changed to "SHADOW" and "PURIFIED". Though notably, Wurmple is now missing from the Shadow/Purified list. Images from Kelven91 While the concept of Shadow Pokémon and Purification is reminiscent of mechanics from Pokémon Colosseum and Pokémon XD, the one main change from there appears to be that the Shadow Pokémon seems to be the result of Team Rocket's invasion of Pokéstops. Along the same vein, Purification appears to be a Quest. Images sourced from Chrales Now, some trivia and a little snippet of history: 1. Shadow Pokémon (Dark Pokémon in Japanese) were introduced in Pokémon Colosseum, and the mechanic was also used in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. These Pokémon "shut the doors to their hearts", becoming soulless fighting machines. They cannot: level up, evolve, be nicknamed, or receive changes to it's moves. Some of their moves are replaced by Shadow Moves, and purification will replace the Shadow moves with standard movesets. 2. Pokémon TCG had a sub-class of Pokémon that turned "evil" when utilized by Team Rocket, and they were known as Dark Pokémon, not to be confused with Dark type Pokémon. Though in a later revival of the TCG mechanic, Dark Pokémon functioned as a dual-type, with Dark type as their secondary typing (if they already had a non-colorless primary typing). No 'purification' mechanic existed for Dark Pokémon, though. Image from bulbapedia. 3. Pokkén Tournament featured a Shadow Mewtwo (Dark Mewtwo in Japanese). It's Shadow status was due to the influence of the Shadow Synergy Stone that merged with it. It was subsequently restored to normal when the stone was separated from it. Image sourced from bulbapedia. 4. In more recent history, Team Rocket could be seen photobombing players in Chicago's Pokémon GO Fest 2019. Maybe it was a tease for what is to come? Image sourced from Pokemongolive.com As a last note of speculation: Team Rocket was behind the creation of the first Mewtwo (and it's armored variant). Could this event be a huge tie-in with Mewtwo Strikes Back EVOLUTION, and also the way they introduce the elusive unused Mewtwo A seen in the gamemaster a few months back? In any case, I am excited about this. Play safely and enjoy the upcoming Pokémon GO event! View full article
  9. First of, to be certain, redownload PKHeX from our site. How are you attempting the transfer, and what's the error message/problem? Just saying "will not transfer" isn't enough. For reference sake, what I normally do is: 1. Load a Gen 1/2 save in one window, load a Gen 7 save in another. 2. Drag the sprite from a Gen 1/2 save, and drop it on Desktop. It becomes a PK1/PK2 file. 3. Now, drag the PK2 into the UM main window. Another method, is simply dragging it across. On my end, both methods works normally, as seen below: You probably could list the steps you take, and take a screenshot of the error message (if any), or tell us how you determine "it isn't working". As for these issues, I'm not sure what questions to ask you, in order to attempt to identify what is the problem. They both open just fine for me. @Kaphotics I'm sorry but I'm not able to help narrow it down for this second issue.
  10. Latest version of Desmume emulator on PC patches it, EXP point and game lock-out (as someone already answered you previously). As for advertisements.. has nothing to do with Pokémon games. If you dumped your own copy from a cartridge, why would there be advertisements? Based on your description you could be infected with a virus or adware. As per anything related with the internet, it happens when people download unverified files. In any case, this doesn't sound like a Pokémon problem. Whatever you downloaded, or whatever site you visited within recent timeframe, probably triggered it. Delete all files you obtained within said timeframe, run an antivirus to check your computer. If problem continues to persist, consider reformatting your computer. Nothing much we can say besides this.

  12. This might not be related to Pomeg Glitch, but: In Leafgreen, have you unlocked the capability to trade to Hoenn? (Ruby and Sapphire key item side quest for Sevii Islands)
  13. You've been through a lot these past few years. @Deoxyz I cannot thank you enough for all the effort you have put into the preservation, as well as exposing of the scam. Maybe one day when you feel like it, and when it's more convenient, you could write an exposé, filled with images and documentation, something for generations to come to see. So that they can properly understand the effort, and also judge the scum themselves
  14. Erm, Gen 3 doesn't have main, but it does have saves. We have a guide here related to managing GBA saves. (https://projectpokemon.org/tutorials/save-editing/managing-gba-saves/) After reading the guide (that is suitable for you), and you have more questions, just reply to this thread :3
  15. @Adrou which save did not work for you, and what how did you try to import the save? what issue did you run into. Also, reviews are not comments. They don't allow people to directly reply and resolve the issue (especially if it's a user issue). Also, for Moon, it totally works (as seen in my screenshot above). Make sure you renamed the save to main, there's no file in the save folder.
  16. @Kaphotics there's a minor issue, when it comes to importing Event SSB. Importing any of the secret bases with ID location 0 (Mossdeep special location) would potentially cause you to be pushed out of the secret base when entering the building, and the base gets wiped from your save. Here's an example on what I think is happening: 1. I create a secret base at Route 114, and get the following layout: 2. I then scan QR code for Junichi Masuda. 3. I use PKHeX to delete Junichi Masuda slot, and change my Location ID to 0. 4. When I load up my game, and go to my secret base in Mossdeep city building, it used this layout, instead of the one that I originally created my SSB in: It's not a one-time fluke. It appears that whenever I scan an event SSB, it's layout type is stored somewhere. Hence why whenever I change my own SSB to ID 0, it uses the type associated with the event SSB I deleted. I think that for Event SSB, an extra value relating to layout type is written somewhere. Since that value may be missing from the .sb6 files, when we import a .sb6 (and that value doesn't match the import), we get kicked out. [Before we get kicked out, we momentarily see a different layout in the background when the flag flashes across the screen] If you need it, I could do a before and after save, so that it can be determined where the stored value is.

Kosuke-san is a Japanese AppBank employee. It is presently not known if he has any role in an official capacity, relating to Pokémon. In his Super Secret Base, his battle team consists of a Mega Swampert, Flygon & Primal Kyogre. As this is a special Super Secret Base, it can be found in the locked back room of the house south to Mossdeep's Pokémon Center. This QR code was made available at the Jump Festa 2015 in Japan. Thanks @BlackShark for helping the site archive this.
  18. I imagine it's as Purin said: some were obtained via live events. If I had to guess, S was available from the games, and MAX was only available via live events.
  19. Both accounts has wireless on, C gear connection enabled. One account stay in the overworld (near the ring around Entralink in Unova), other account go into Entralink, then simply cross over (from the left or right bridge). Once you're in your friend's world, the map turns monochrome in color. Go to the PC in the center of Entralink. Looks pretty much like this:
  20. It appears some are available when you cross into a friend's world. I don't know which is or isn't available for rotation, tho.
  21. Not every power was released. Read this article: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/O-Power
  22. How easy was it!? Was custom hardware even needed?

  24. maybe that's the one. I'll take a quick look at what's there. edit: Nothing, lol. I'll shift the wondercard down to that location, see if it works realized what you meant, lol There's one pointer that points to 0x100100 , but unlike the Japanese one, I don't see another one point to 0x100000 nearby..
