  1. There's always a risk of getting banned. For example, if an update makes the Switch send back information, and such information can imply that the Switch has CFW, and CFW devs don't identify and block such a report being sent, you could get banned. It's not a save state, it's literally a save. Checkpoint is a save manager that can import and export saves. In any case, you'll need a save manager to import PKHeX'd saves into your game. I don't. Anyway aside from PKHeX (and maybe trades) there's no way to get Hex'd stuff onto your game.
  2. Use at your own risk. I use my hacked Switch to go online. Sure, I don't PKHeX my online save, but I do periodic backups using Checkpoint (homebrew), to back up the save onto my PC.
  3. what's did you fill into the cells? Give the exact info that didn't work, so I can try. edit: I also edited the title (Ultra Shiny -> Square Shiny) As a matter of fact, Square shinies are more common for wild battles, so calling it Ultra Shiny is misleading, when it's not overall rarer.
  4. Basically, don't try to create event mons from scratch, especially Gen 3 mons. There are event distribution units, and we have pkx and wcx for various events. Just use the files that exist.
  5. you probably need to look for documentation that enables the recalc to be removed, Or alternatively look for a cheat code to do so. In any case, this isn't a PKHeX problem.
  6. @Kaphotics this has been reported multiple times. while I’ve encountered it once (after changing TID/SID/OT of save without relaunching), I’ve not been able to recreate it.
  7. it’s been like this for most of the games I think. The game is the one recalculating the stats. If you need it you stick, it’ll be a rom edit, beyond a save edit.
  8. Look at the date I uploaded this, and look at the date PKHeX is updated.
  9. For SWSH? Not presently.
  10. @Kaphotics I can confirm this is an issue. I tried saving constants in a Pearl save, and the changed value didn't stick.
  11. Change the event constant to 31, then meet a person in underground, then check if spiritomb spawns. The constant itself is likely just a record, and won't spawn spiritomb simply because it's 32. If anything, it's the act of becoming 32 (in-game) that results in a different flag being set. Give that a try. (Basically, the game doesn't load up the save and check if the record is 32. If anything, going from 31->32 is what triggers a flag, as well as change constants. However, simply setting "32" as the value doesn't set that flag, and the game doesn't check if it's 32 again)
  12. @MuteNeppytune you should figure out how to do the various things, and test doing various things first, before planning to do anything. Many people come up with plans for a ROM hack, but never got around to doing it because the lack of know how. Personal advice, I rather you figure out whether you can do it, before you raise expectations, yourself included.
  13. In other words, R4i dongle won't be able to help you dump saves. Just rely on CFW to do that.
  14. In case you’re unaware, saves no longer stores wonder cards. as such, PKHeX won’t be able to inject them. It may be useful for other purposes if and when such purposes become public, but till then it’s for archiving.
  15. R4i save dongle won't work. Standard cartridges have save stored in the chip, however Pokémon since Gen 6 are stored in part of the ROM. R4i save dongle doesn't extract cart2 saves if I'm not mistaken.
  16. Given that it's legal in Gen 7, I'm assuming you tried to drop it into a SWSH save. As there's no official transfer to SWSH at this moment, of course it will be illegal.
  17. If using the function as I listed, pl6 I recommend that you do some trial and error and test it out .
  18. Or, don’t generate one from scratch. Edit an existing Ditto. or take the height weight from one.
  19. Wr7 doesn’t apply to SWSH (gen 8 ) also so what I was saying was that one can change their Switch date while playing the game. You can argue that you started your gameplay on a nonsensical Switch date. People do all kinds of things like this all the time. anyhow, if you wanna edit the Mew received date, wait for wr8 dumping and injecting to be implemented.
  20. perhaps it is getting flagged because something else is missing. Try breeding an actual Zigzagoon with Knock Off, then hack on the stats or w/e.
  21. It was distributed with the data for "Met Game" already set. so yeah, if you change that, it'll be illegal.
  22. Only if you have a Switch that has the same Nintendo Account as a hacked Switch, and you can transfer to save over via local communication. Else no
  23. if the appropriate parent holds an everstone, it would be the same as the parent. (Kantonian and Unovan respectively) Else, it would be Galarian variant. However, you wouldn't be able to breed an Alolan Vulpix or Kantonian Ponyta presently, for example, cause you can't get the correct parent legitimately.
  24. Catch yourself one. Hidden Ability Ditto is probably restricted by amount of stars in a raid, which also affect encounter level. Granted, I didn't looking at your file, but I'm assuming you're making one from scratch, and that's a no-no, as there's too much you'll miss. probably not fully implemented now, but probably would be in the future. If you edit an existing mon caught the right way/similar encounter, you probably won't have to worry bout it.
  25. Off the top of my head, I don’t recall if PKHeX implemented support of adding Pokémon Link files like Wonder Card files (they basically can be injected into your save in order to redeem it in-game). If not, suloku created a save file editor that allows for injecting. Go to Downloads>Save Editing tools and look for it edit: PKHeX has it implemented
