  1. This is the way to get the RNG Seed. Focus on the one you have (CFW or Friend w/ CFW). You only need to do either one. Purpose of the seed, is to know how many frames you're away from the shiny frame. USER w/ CFW SWITCH HELP FROM FRIEND (w/ CFW SWITCH) Note: This only works if: a. You friend is physically near you (local connection) b. Your friend isn't physically near you, but you both have a Nintendo Online subscription (able to connect online)
  2. First off, you'll need to know whether you want a common nest, rare nest, or promoted nest. Despite that some people and sites call those Dens, given the actual data in-game is called "nestholes", and the fact that it is important to differentiate between the two, for the sake of this tutorial, let's split them into nests and dens Dens: the physical structure in-game you interact with. Enables you to access the pool from either the common nest, rare nest and promoted nest using a Wishing Piece. Nests: the collective pool of Pokémon in a nest. Nests are not able to interchange with one another. For example, if you have the purple light (rare nest), you cannot access the pool of the red light (either common nest or promoted nest) Likewise, if your Wishing Pieced den gives you promoted nest, even though it is red light, you cannot gain access to common nest. Now that the terminology is out of the way.... To be clear, this guide needs Wishing Pieces. From this point on, you'll gonna need to use Wishing Piece on dens... Wanted light: Rare Nest To get purple light (rare nest) from dens, we will use a game exploit. 1. Set text speed to Slow. (Note: this also works on Medium, but only if the user is fast enough) 2. Save the game x2 before the intended Den. (To retain the text speed) 3. Now throw a Wishing Piece into the den. Do not hold down the A button. 4. The light will appear faster than the "Saving" message. if the light is not purple, go to Home of the Switch as fast as you can (before the saving message completes), and immediately close the game. This prevents it from Saving, meaning you have not used the Wishing Piece (how economical!), and you can try again. What if you weren't fast enough? Either: 1. Complete the raid 2. Throw a Wishing Piece into a different den. There can only be one Wishing Piece active at a time, and this will result in the previous one despawning. Wanted light: Promoted/Event Nest or Common Nest While you can use the previous method, and focus on red light instead of purple light, there is a chance you'll end up on the nest you do not want. (You can tell which nest you have access to, based on what is the sprite of the raid). As such, an alternative method was born. This method requires you to have a lot of watts, and bought a considerable amount of Wishing Pieces. 1. Choose 2 dens that are near each other. Let's call them A and B 2. Throw Wishing Piece into A. 3. See what light you get from A, and if the species belong to the nest you want. If not... 4. Throw Wishing Piece into B. This will despawn the piece at A. 5. See what light you get from B, and if the species belong to the nest you want. If not... 6. Loop back to step 2. Basically, you'll rotate between A and B until you get the nest you want.
  3. This tutorial is aimed at those with CFW, or those that have friends with CFW. I understand that there are cases where you want to do it yourself and get the trade bot to tell you your frame, but this ain't that. What you need 0. Basic reading capability and ability to follow instructions 1. Your Switch has CFW (or your friend's Switch has CFW) [CFW can be obtained by using this guide, if your Switch is compatible. Regardless, our tutorial's purpose isn't to guide you on how to get CFW] 2. Latest version of PKHeX 3. Latest Raid Plugin 4. Latest Capture Sight on the Switch w/ CFW Once these are ready, these are the basic steps: 1. Getting the wanted light from the den (so basically you already have decided what you want. Use Serebii's den list to narrow down the den) 2. Finding out what RNG Seed you have for the active Wishing Piece'd den 3. Finding out where the shiny frame is. If unfavorable (> 1000 resets away), obtain a new seed, by throwing down another Wishing Piece. You will have to restart from step 1. 4. Date advancing; advancing your frames till you get to 3 frames before the shiny frame. 5. Once 3 frames before shiny frames, you can SR the species by using the Invite Method to slowly advance the 3 frames. (once you are less than 3 frames to shiny frame, you won't be able to SR species any more.)
  4. No worries :3
  5. I imagine so, at least that was the case for the 3DS. being banned just means online is blocked. Unless they switched it up to block local communication too, it’ll probably be fine :/
  6. Well for your sake I hope this works XD
  7. No worries. At it stands, reformatting your SD card may be our only option. If you have auto RCM installed, you should be able to boot in Hekate regardless (dragging the bin into tegrasmash with cable connected). I’ll strongly recommend you backup the NANDs (emu and sys) as well as backup your SD card contents before proceeding with the reformat. you may need to make sure your SD isn’t partitioned (disc management should be able to show you). after that, place the contents back onto your SD card (ignoring the partitioning step) then use Hekate and launch CFW into SysNAND. without the emuMMC detected by Hekate (cause SD was formatted and partition removed) the only way into CFW is sysNAND I hope this makes sense, and I think this should work. As usual, use at your own risk ><
  8. That’s confusing. Try to toy around with the option on Hekate and see if there’s a way to boot into CFW on sysNAND. As it stands, I’ll like to keep resetup as our nuclear option. It’ll definitely work, but having to redo everything would be such a pain for you XD
  9. Looks like you can’t go into CFW on sysNAND huh. since you watched a video I’m not sure how I would guide you. You may have to redo the setup of the entire thing (including reformatting your SD to remove the emuMMC), then reperforming those steps. I’ll suggest that you back up the nand on your SD and sysNand, as well as the files on your SD, and try to setup again. I use this site for set up: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ as per everything, use at your own risk. Before you do this, mind showing me what’s in “more configs”? I’m away from my PC right now, so can’t boot Hekate onto my Switch to check I just want to be sure that resetup is our very last option, thus I’m checking everything else in-between first
  10. You mind showing me the launch screen, with the options on it?
  11. If I’m not mistaken, if you’re not automatic booting, Hekate should give you options to boot CFW into sysMMC or emuMMC given your troubles, I assumed you were booting into emuMMC and your profiles got split.
  12. Eh no. What bootloader are you using to go into CFW?
  13. Alternatively, use homebrew/CFW on sysNAND, import the save, then load back OFW to sysNAND. the hekate bootloader option should allow CFW on sysNAND this way, the profiles shouldn’t be separated. (At least I don’t think they’ll be)
  14. Yeah. Many people create fakes by just making sure a method 1 PID is created, but they neglect various crucial things such as location or trash bytes XD
  15. Cartridges for Switch don’t hold save files. I don’t know what caused the split (assumingly your OFW and CFW both have the same profiles, but they’re treated as separated on the sysMMC and emuMMC now) and I doubt I know how to merge them back into one, aside from only using CFW and bringing CFW online. (could be related to updating game or firmware of CFW, and leave OFW unupdated) [I don’t use emuMMC, so my CFW is on sysMMC and I bring CFW online. Don’t use injections on my save tho] basically, you want to use your hacked save on OFW, I understand that much. However given your profiles are separate now, as I’ve said, no clue how to remerge them. Maybe someone with more experience with this would come along. In any case, this isn’t a PKHeX issue.
  16. Long story short, certain PIDs are essentially impossible because JEREMY mons were known to be in-game encounters. Factoring encounter route, encounter slots, known natures and IVs, certain donated Slowpoke (even the pk4) would appear to be fake. It also brings into question certain known natures and IV spread. Really, any entry has to be checked case by case. also, we looking for gen 3 entries, since route data is intact.
  17. Your first few lines explained the problem to me. Your OFW and CFW isn’t linked. Try making progress in your OFW save, then boot up CFW, you’ll see that they’re really 2 different saves.
  18. It’s hard to imagine any mon (OT side) not having any memory at all. ill do a few checks later
  19. This thread was started before the function was implemented into PKHeX. You’re replying to the thread after the fact.
  20. If you can’t figure it out, maybe you shouldn’t mess with it. Also: Basically you know how Serebii gives you the encounter chance? place stars for the raid, and input the randroll. all those values kinda originate from the Randroll. Just play around with it. I set my the randroll to 99 and stars to 4 for gmax encounters. If you want, work backwards from there.
  21. We have the wonder from SWSH server, not a clone from Let’s Go, however it’s as you say I think when PKHeX converts it, it doesn’t assign the memories
  22. I didn’t get the notification, so I guess you didn’t quote/tag me properly. Type “@“ and the rest of our names and it should pop down a drop down with usernames you can click on. yup, I noticed the Den location thing yesterday. Anyhow thanks for the info Also @Kaphotics for event Pokémon lacking memories.
  23. Don’t think such a page or service exists. granted you can boot into OFW, but “remove all traces of the hack” isn’t something that’s exists, I think.
  24. Yeah, strawberry. So the most default of defaults.
  25. Any form can G-max (evident if you played through the story; Opal's G-max Alcremie wasn't Vanilla Cream). However... Presently, only Vanilla Cream. I've not checked if forms are restricted from raids. So far, I only know raid Polteageist can only be phony.
