maybe the mon's language wasn't Japanese to begin with?? It happens when a mon was English, then you evolved it on a Japanese game and it gained a Japanese nickname. However, the language byte is still tagged ENG. Thus, HOME probably fixed the nickname, and made it English. The same thing occurs with Transporter>Bank: Any mon without nickname flag will be reassigned the nickname based on language byte, if the name doesn't match. maybe a HOME glitch. who knows really.

Erm, Weedle doesn't exist for SWSH. If you're trying to get PKHeX to generate lower gen mons (for lower gen saves), Options > Settings > Blank Save Version (reduce to whatever lower gens)

Use the Gen 8 file. It contains a Zeraora I already transferred..

If I'm not mistaken, your version of PKHeX is outdated. Use our latest copy. Also, you may use the files from here. Not that HOME events are not checked properly yet.

not possible to cheat legit, at best cheat legal. Legit implies 0 external modifications, but if you cheating, then you're going against that vein..

I don't know about others, but the one I uploaded were transferred by me personally. Given they were legal on UM, no reason a transfer would make them illegal. (Logically, the only reason they wouldn't be legal after a transfer is.. they weren't legal to begin with). that only affects GTS and surprise/wonder trades. I've said this many times already, but the Shiny Solgaleo and Shiny Lunala lockout isn't just trades, but online raids as well. It's a server side issue.

I'm not sure if the present version of PKHeX emulated transfers properly. It might miss some hidden values that HOME may perform during transfer. After all, PKHeX was made before HOME comes out. Just use the files that we've uploaded.

While I don't see any evidence of a crackdown, bringing unreleased mons online is as stupid as pirating SM and using GTS when it's not out. They probably can monitor traffic pre-HOME release, but once HOME is out, as there millions of users worldwide, it's unlikely it'll stick out like a sore thumb. Plus, talking about duping, it probably is hard to monitor when there's so many PID variation out there (and that is ignoring the fact that some mons are natural clones. For example, some in-game trades have fixed PID. They can't possibly come up with a comprehensive list. They can't fault everyone...) Except we can't prove if there's any truth to that. For example, Pokémon HOME allows Eternal Floette, something that was never ever distributed, to be transferred in. Wouldn't this be a red flag, and an easy thing to stop? While not related to HOME entirely, but related to trades, maliciously hacked a certain mon to cause the game to crash. Yet, this isn't stopped either. With these extreme examples in mind, it's hard to concretely prove there's proper hack checks. Yes, there is a limited server side check, but it's not reliable. It's stopping Shiny Solgaleo and Shiny Lunala from being used online, even though it was legitimately received from the event... Well if anyone did, and they feel like it, they'll tell you.

erm, what bans have been going on over the past 2 days? Also, HOME doesn't have a legality checker. In any case, we don't work for Nintendo/Game Freak, so no one really knows.

Erm why is the Encryption Constant for the "fixed Lunala" 0? That really shouldn't be the case.. And the Lunala in the original zip by OP has wrong origin game and location. I'll be removing these files, as OP's zip contains illegal files. Anyhow, I personally got files that transferred just fine, but I have some concerns for some of them. Will upload those some time later. edit: These were injected mostly into Ultra Moon (Meltan and Melmetal into LGP), then transferred from Bank to HOME. I am concerned about some saying "Country not in 3DS region", but they were legal for Gen 7, so what is up with that? >< (removed) Pretty sure you can deal with the evolved forms of the base forms.. I haven't tried, but I've seen legendaries (from HOME, not the hacked ones) go into online raids and stuff. I was shown Shiny Solgaleo/Lunala couldn't even join online raids, so I know most legends aren't restricted.

As of now, the latest update of PKHeX doesn't deal with the legality of all HOME transferred mons. As for you being unable to trade shiny legendaries, the Solgaleo and Lunala block is Pokemon Server side, nothing to do with us. report back after the next update that has HOME stuff.

@cnw2 Either the save is encrypted or it's filled with garbage data. In any case, if PKHeX can't open it, then I doubt anyone can do any good.
