Putting the video aside, any chance your CFW is on emunand, and your OFW is your sysnand, and the changes don't reflect on your sysnand? If so, it's likely that your Emunand and Sysnand are different profiles. While you're able to import the save on Emunand, it will not show up on Sysnand, as they are not connected.

tho I still don't recommend using another save, if your intent is to go online. I'm pretty sure saves have a "gamesync"-esque value, that presently the offset isn't known. (LGPE saves had such a value too, and it wasn't found until pretty late in it's cycle) This value is used by the servers to tell saves apart, as it is very unlikely to have legitimately stumble on 2 saves with the same OT, TID, SID and gamesync value. Anyhow, given the offset of that value is unknown, as a result, you can't modify away that value. (tho, that value would be 0 on saves that never ever went online, including receiving Mystery Gifts, so maybe you could use those)

I read that there's a method to dump your save from a exploitable Switch on OFW (this) Besides that, currently impossible. If you don't hack your Switch (hacking here), or don't have an exploitable unit, then it's not possible.

if your intent is to play online, I recommend that you complete the story, as opposed to using external cheats or hacks

No, the shiny is in 3 frames, so 3 resets. also, if you save anywhere in the 3 frames, you will no longer be able to SR the species. I tend to open them to public. If you see them you can jump in. Previously was SRing for Shiny G-Alcremie, so those were open to public. Once I got the Shiny G-Alcremie species, I opened that to public multiple times for people to jump in. then I've been opening to public the above den cause I was hoping for an Authentic Shiny Polteageist. Sadly I was told that it appears that max raids only produce the phony form (like eggs) so I'm moving on from there. Done all these in the past 2 days. No sure what I want my next target to be.

Sorry, I do not share personal saves. However, I can attach various screenshots. (They're in the spoiler below) As you can see, the Pokémon and raid tier of the den as shown in the game, matches what was predicted by the PKHeX plugin. You can also see that the seed and den ID provided by the PKHeX plugin is the same seed and den ID provided by Capture Sight. So, as it can be seen that all 3 of the factors above agree in terms of information, I have reason to suspect that the error lies elsewhere. Full disclosure, I've only done 2 RNGs for myself, and one of them didn't utilize Capture Sight, but at the very least the PKHeX plugin has not failed to provide me with the correct frame. Also, I have used Capture Sight to help others calculate their frame, and they indeed got it right, so I have no to doubt Capture Sight. Perhaps if you can provide screenshots in the same manner as I have, we can identify the problem.

Capture sight and the plugin uses the same den number. Are you sure you saved after you activated the den, backed up the save, and you're using the correct save? I've used a combination of Capture Sight and the plugin to check my den's frame and hosted shiny raids, so I know it's correct. Den location on map. (Den 58) 1. Place wishing piece in den 2. Capture sight will tell you the Seed of den then used that seed in plugin to calculate the frames from shiny or the plugin will tell you the seed of den (and frames away from shiny)

the Den numbers match the ordering found in the game, which is unrelated to the den ID on Serebii. given that some information is called "nesthole" (from what I've seen), the "dens" on serebii are likely called nests or nesthole. Meaning a Den (the physical structure) has access to 3 Nests: Common, Promoted/Event, Rare So to hunt for shinies: 1. Throw a wishing piece in game, 2. see what's the frame required. 3. either reset till you get the frame (1 day change is 1 frame) or throw another wishing piece at another Den.

I recommend that you don't create one from scratch. Actually catch the species in max raids, then give it the gmax flag. Don't forget that most Gmax are 5 star raids, so change the amount of perfect IVs to match that. OR just edit a base file that already exists.
