  1. If you didn't modify the backup (I'm under the impression that most people don't cause there's no reason too), the backup can be opened by PKHeX. Also, you didn't send it, when I told you to upload the file. In any case, if the backup and main cannot be opened (assumingly you edited it and they ended up corrupted), then use a different backup.
  2. Upload the backup file for us to see. Also redownload PKHeX.
  3. ProjectPokemon are able to host files (I switched the mediafire link to an upload on our site.) Maybe you wanna switch the link in the video too Also, we have a save contribution page in our downloads section, you could upload there too.
  4. Notice for all! 1. Local wonder cards can be obtained from PCAPs using Wireshark, read it up! (still a bit wonky, requires you to carry a laptop with ya) 2. When local dumps fails, we accept bin files from PKHeX's block dumps (KMysteryGift)
  5. Chimchar isn’t programmed into SWSH, so you obviously can’t add it in. if Eternatus gets an error in SWSH, then you created a bad hack. You can choose to ignore it and add it in anyway (ignoring the errors), or use an existing file and drag it in.
  6. Take a copy of “backup”, then rename the copy of “backup” to “main. then use checkpoint to restore the save folder.
  7. What Pokemon were you trying to import?
  8. Yes. It'll show the Square or the Star if the egg is shiny.
  9. Follow this guide. https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/
  10. Yeah Hala isn’t the Champion. At your stage, he's the Island Kahuna. I guess cased closed then.
  11. If you defeated the champion, they would obey you no matter what the level is. Since you said “first champion”, I can only assume you meant trial leader or trial captain?
  12. General steps, under construction. 1. Install Wireshark on your computer. 2. Change your wireless card to Monitor Mode 3. Start up Wireshark 4. Select the applicable MAC adresss (let's say a beacon etc) and Apply as Filter
  13. NitroExplorer or Crystal Tile should be able to inject narcs
  14. I would imagine you have the export the block that has the league card date, then hex edit that block, then reimport the block. No idea what block it is tho. While I documented the offset of the timestamp (and other data) for the WR8, no idea how it works. (It's different from the epoch timestamp they previously used.) Unrelated: Perhaps stop calling it "pre-ordered content or DLC". It's not. Granted, some events are locked to pre-orders, that barely makes them cross the threshold into pre-ordered content. I don't think anyone calls Events "DLC".
  15. Our team are able to extract local wonder cards from PCAPs (provided someone is there to capture them). PCAPs can be captured through Wireshark, using a mobile computer to sniff the packets via the local broadcasts. While a proper tutorial is presently not up yet, here's what you can do. Look through the following videos .These videos may come in handy for some people to get a grasp on Wireshark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yo9nQxxgP_I - Basic - Talks about enabling monitor mode on linux outside of Wireshark - Part of an easy to digest series (6 minute videos) with some content related to capturing packets with Wireshark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DdV6cVVV-jU - More detailed - Goes over monitor mode (what it is and why to use it) - Filtering - Various tips and tricks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltfWjpNcn20 - Very basic - Goes over the different wireless modes (including monitor) - Describes what Beacon Frames are https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X5TwvGXHP0 - Very basic - High level overview of wireshark - Shows how to setup monitor mode

  17. `hey @Mishimeow, don't multipost. If no one replied you yet, just edit the info into your latest post :3. Now, is your secondary Switch CFW'd? In any case, you can share the profile locally with your main Switch, then move the save over to your primary Switch, then use Checkpoint to dump the save, then move the save back to your secondary Switch. As long as you are offline while dumping via Homebrew, it *probably* is fine, but I don't know what the risks entails, as your primary Switch might have illegal themes, piracy etc etc.
  18. I don't know if the 3DS service for Nintendo Online still works, but if the Streetpass function is on, just close the 3DS (leave it at sleep), and it should auto share it with people who go online as well. You can't target who to share it with, tho.
  19. If the mons didn't have your OT, OTG, TID, SID (basically trainer details) and you don't have enough trial completed to match the levels, then they won't obey you. That has been a mainstay of the obedience factor in the Pokémon series. Were you trying to hack in level 100s before you defeated the champion? Or are simple level 10s not even obeying you?
  20. Yes I figured you were editing Pokemon Sword, but no that was not what was I asking. To be more clear: Editing Pokemon itself? Editing Items? Importing Blocks? What were you editing? Anyway, you won't be able to "fix" the file it it's already corrupt. (ie the too big file) you gotta restart your edits on a copy of the file that isn't corrupt, then let us know if you're able to reopen the file after you save it.
  21. Gen 4 files (wc4 or pk4) can be added into any save from Gen 4 to Gen 8, tho Gen 8 (SWSH) will have some limitations, depending on what mon wasn't cut.
  22. What are you editing? Are you sure you're using the new PKHeX file? The new PKHeX file fixed importing blocks for me (and thus able to open the save.) Consider clearing the cache of your browser, before you perform the redownload.
  23. You can create them, or you can download PK8 files. Your choice.
  24. 1. Load up your save for PKHeX 2. Add a mon 3. Save the save in PKHeX. 4. Restore the save using Checkpoint.
  25. I'm guessing you did block editing. I've already reported the issue, in relation to block editing. editing my mons or items (ignoring block editing) doesn't seem to trigger it.
