    Under SAV tab, in event flags make sure "seabreak path appeared" is checked and "shaymin (flower paradise) disappeared" is un-checked.

    Wish Chansey is an event pokemon so, it doesn't follow the usual algorithm.

    I'm pretty sure the only way to get a surfing pikachu in gen 4 is via the pokewalker. The pokemon from the pokewalker had an extremely restricted PID range, so I don't think they could be shiny. I'm not sure about the IV's though.

    You can ignore that message if you don't care about legality, which I assume you don't mind too much since you said it was for personal use.

    Pkhax-*.exe is a compiled batch file that allows you to run pkhex's illegal mode without renaming the primary executable. Don't worry it's not a virus; it's a false positive, that's only flagged because it's a program whose primary purpose is to open another program after applying modifications.

    The weird thing is that the patch file requires firered but if you open the .gba in a hex editor is has the header name for emerald, but thats basically what i wanted to know. Thanks.

    If I wanted to compile PKHeX with the personal data of the pokemon from a GBA ROM hack, how would I go about doing so. Specifically pokemon clover v1.2.

    That is not possible, as it is not programmed into the game.

    Install Checkpoint and use that to obtain a pkhex ready save called main with no extension.

    Open in a hex editor go to address 0x80000 delete everything from that point on.

    I don't think the mega bracelet actually does anything by itself. I'm pretty sure recieving it just sets an "allow mega evolution flag" in the save.

    That .sav file is encrypted you need to use a save manager like checkpoint to decrypt it.
