So Encounter slot can be manipulate in this narc? I found basculin have 2 HEX value (Blue strip form have different HEX value), deerling have 4 HEX Value (every seasonal deerling have different HEX value), normal form XX YY ( Original YY XX) BUT In form 2,3,4 just replace YY into 0A, ...(i forgot), 1A so shiny pokemon have different HEX value too. yeah i just beginner in HEX editing / script editing.... i little confused because i no have data for that to identified every HEX value o.oa . -

Kazowar, can see at http://llref.emutalk.net/docs/, maybe help you sorry just this list as i can found sprite, texture, BTX files, many 3D object, some used unkown format or be encrypt? some file can viewed in console tools, can exported but not all can imported to narc file. now i just need swarming pokemon location, legend location, stat/move/type, can someone PM to me for that ...... i need it for compare only, i have but i don't know that file for ... because i found a weird file (i can't scripting DX) o.oa sorry for blank or mark with "??", i can see / edit that sprite but i don't know sprite is for what, used in...... is just unkown for me- 23 replies

Route 18: you can unpack you narc, is more easy for found than hex offset because many route have similar pokemon or same pokemon, route by route, 109 is route 18 okay i will search hex offset if i have free time but you was edited pokemon like wild pokemon reshiram, swarming pokemon? -

Is used net framework, i think you can used mono framework (i don't know about that, but you can emulate net on wine). sorry i can't help on mac or linux, i just using windows platform. or you can using virtualbox, install OS windows...... into virtual machine for 100% working -
remmeber some sprite are compressed by LZ77, in crystall tile, you can edit them easy if you uncompressed them in right method. if wrong, the file size are more than 3 MB. remember, i found many program to view, editing for them but is no really stable, so i pick crystal tile, need time to reinsert for complete

Yeah, after pokemon black and white release in japan, i asked to someone via PM talk about insert (no edit) image to ROM, he no explain how, but he can create it for me , yeah after there i no waiting for he help, but i research and i found myself how to edit sprite, open or manipulate , yeah

Okay i will open my ROM, and i search in this section, so i checked it after done maybe i know that file location , yeah if i open actual ROM is bigger........ narc file is better than edit actual ROM...... but Actual ROM is the best for searching/ researching........ editing is good at narc file (small pieces) EDIT 2, i just litte searching just 1 min i was found that. Not at a/0/1/6 but in a/0/5/7, yeah file in a/0/5/7 i found musharna with "78 01 06 02 32" i was found in there yeah i search musharna (from kazowar for HEX value, thankyou), i was found in actual rom at hex offset : 079190c0 for musharna, and is in a/0/5/7 for that I found that value in a/0/5/7 (thank you for helping me kazowar and kaphotics ) Viola.. i think in a/0/5/7 , sorry if i wrong , anyway thankyou kazowar for HEX structure, is make me easy to search ...... also is was added my database too -
is just a logo, not all sprite can use this method ......

anyway btx in HG/SS is compressed? yeah some btx files from HGSS is not working...... but is great tools

some can correct this list? is my old research from japanese ROM, and is look same english version. blank section is maybe a unkown texture, maybe a script a game or core of game... everyone can added more detail more than this? Yeah somebody was found string for route 11 ?, yeah i think swarm pokemon not in a/1/2/6, i found some file but i don't know for what. yeah i still research and analyze for editing. Thank you much for data. EDIT: yeah is works for me. but is must all HEX Value of pokemon edited into other HEX Value of pokemon? i was found 16 "22 02 (cottone HEX value)" in narc, if just one edited the game will appear error message but if i replace all, is working... yeah i understand.......... about HEX offset , in every HEX editor is same but i no found HEX offset 083CBB44 (or maybe is Loaded from ROM not NARC?) ....... EDIT2: yeah i was editing wild pokemon at route 17, is great. HEX data : is working all yeah is no crash game or pop up message error system in both DS and Emulator i tested by upack narch file for more easy than remember HEX offset Result : i not lie! is real! some example place: -

Yeah some text are gone, i think is corrupt or just delete in factory. in japanese ROM, have a lot text in some point, but is say "dummy" but in E/U release is clean....... trainer name still edited and i found in different location but is fine and working edited used PPTXT

Used this tools, from http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11507-%5BRELEASED-V2-1%5D5-Generation-Evolution-Editor (tools create by pedro), is working for me, in my new method are working. is easy to used, but if you added new method you must save it and click other pokemon, because maybe is bug... o.oa don't worry i still beginner, i started my hack is pokemon black and white , yeah is so fun for me....... -
oh i was success, so i continued my research and make my own hack ROM BW , is easy, just double click or you can edit in crystaltile2 EDIT : if you want edit, check my http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?14664-Some-Question-about-location-file-at-BW , is most sprite editable with crystaltile, some sprite is compressed, if you edit you must unpack , edit and pack with LZ77 /LZ11/ect compressed method, now i no proble editing sprite, just confused create sbnk file i really insteresting about music, video, picture inside NDS ROM..... First click pallete + Nitro picture........

I know that, i now still progessing editing SDAT, also mugshot, yeah is working after looping in FLstudio (looping is used HEXEditor) and i follow teamfail tutorial, yeah all is i used crystalltile, VGATrans+ much many tools...... (i not tell because is not free program, some free like kazoWAR tools) Is just replace sseq Elitefour only , replace some sprite in (i forgot but i have note), is very long tutorial....... i was found sprite, and i can edited it with my photoshop, and is easy but need time to reconstruction ....... :< wkwkwkwkwkwk In was found some sprite and i named it in my list, yeah some btx, and map files (i open with kazowar tools but still no read corectly) yeah maybe in this month i was done, wait my hack version but is in my language is indonesia i hacking ROM BW since japanese, so i know anything about ROM BW, is look same but some is not same but is stiil easy maybe i will tell everyone how made it but in this time i have final test must be complete in this month!!! In this video still used japanese ROM, bu i wonder about how to edit sbnk files ????? EDIT: I now remember! , in a/0/7/2 is have a lot sprite of hero/NPC, yes is have 7 file, look this image: look: Edit2: BTX files: a/0/4/5 ---> BTX SPRITE POKEMON MUSICAL Uploaded with ImageShack.us a/0/4/9 ---> BTX SPRITE HERO + pokemon SPRITE a/0/1/4 ---> 0XTB, the overworld BTX files arena sprite is just material of game, building object sprite, well is a BTX a/0/6/9 ---> bta files ? (I don't know and i can't see this image)? also all sprite are compressed!!!!!
