Yes, it's the same as is used to write Japanese names and places in other versions of the game and it is used as regular text in the Japanese games. The difference between Katakana, Hiragana and Kanji is thus: Hiragana are the generally-used characters for writing. They approximate letters. Katakana is used in some names and in English-based words, such as hamburger or milk in Japanese. The difference between Katakana and Hiragana is simply in the character. They maintain the same sounds. Kanji are characters that mean words or parts of words. Single Kanji can mean a word and then be combined with other characters to make other words. To say or to write Kanji fully, one would use Hiragana or their sounds. Hope that helps

Are the swamperts different genders? Are you answering with the top option (which should be yes)? Do you have an empty slot in your party? Are you sure that you can produce eggs (what I mean is, not having an understanding of the game, there might be some sort of restriction on egg-producing, as un-biological as that may be)? If the answer to all those is no, then there's probably something odd happening there. -
To show extensions in Windows Explorer, go to Tools>Folder Options>View tab>Unceck Hide extensions for known file types. And if you really don't want .savs to be opened with a specific program, from the Folder Options window, go to the File Types tab, scroll down to the SAV extension then delete it.

I've the same problem! Is there a way to make the old save work? I began the game with the 2d version, exactly the SSE_P. Just rename the .SAV file so that it is exactly the same as the .NDS file except for the extensions (.SAV and .NDS)

@Toffeuy: Nice. The background doesn't quite mesh with the foreground completely. The grey colouring doesn't fit with the milotic's colours, though the streaks of blue are good. All in all, 8/10 @Illithian: Looks good, but there are too many conflicting colours and focal points. It seems clustered and unfocused. I like the effects that you've got in there, though. 8.5/10, I think.

I really like it! In the Quick Reply box, the black text for Message:, Quote message in reply?, and Show your signature are hard to read. Something more like the gold or the grey would be better

Granted, but the chocolate causes you indigestion every time you eat it and you, quite unfairly, have to puke it up every time... I wish I could go to an Aerosmith concert that actually happened because none of the band members hurt themselves.

A few questions about the R4 and similar devices

Don't get an R4 since they're out of production and no more firmware is forthcoming, so it's not really compatible with some newer games without cheat codes that allow it to work. I believe that the M3 is made by the same company (correct me if I'm wrong) and they're continuing production on that line of hardware. Also, beware because copies of flashcards are prevalent. -
@Toffeuy: It's a good avvie, but it lacks depth, as in it looks too flat. The background is the same intensity and colour as Kingdra, so it seems to pop out above Kingdra. My eye is drawn to the background more than Kingdra, so using either a less vibrant or a more monotonous background (never thought I'd suggest that...) might make it a little more focused on Kingdra. All in all, though, 8.5/10 @Exolios: In-depth will come later, kinda tired now. Both of 'em: 8.5/10 Just a note, no offence intended, that style is getting a tad overused...
