  2. Don't gte me wrong i like the Totodile line, is cool. But in my eyes a starter based on the plesiosaurus (or at least an out dated reconstruction of a plesiosaurus) is more cool then a crocodile/aligator. Also the final evolution also have this element of hid design that remind me a bit of Dragonair. I hope they re use the idea in the future, not necessarly for a starter.

  4. On November 15th 1997 a playable demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver debuted at Space World '97. This demo was never to be seen again until today. On May 31st 2018 an anonymous person dumped a ROM of the elusive demos, twenty years and six months since it was last playable by the public. Pokemon Gold and Silver we're originally supposed to be released in 1998, however didn't arrive until November 21 1999 in Japan. With that in mind the final versions of Pokemon Gold and Silver is two years more developed then the Space World 97 Demos, making this an extraordinary find, even more so that it's made it's way to the public. Their is a Google Spreadsheet with Info on a WIP translation from people who've had this for a while it seems. I can't post that though as it also links to the rom. On the debug roms you can press select at the title screen to view the main debug menu. Pressing Down + B + A at the title screen will allow you to adjust the time.

  6. I'm assuming it doesn't even show the correct party (assuming you tried to save the game, using the debug menu.) For one thing, PKHeX doesn't load the save for me, so I'll say it depends on how the save file is programmed. Maybe Pikasav defaults to Crystal, when no tags associated to Gold or Silver in the save is found? Probably should open the save via hex editors, and see if there's any useful information in it. (for all you know, it's all 0s lol) edit: I can't open the save I have with Pikasav. send your save over. Traiver managed to get it onto the 3DS. You can check his twitter posts to see how he did it.

  7. Good thing i have always the good attitude to save the game before screw around with event pokemon. The fact that you cannot disasemble the event is a good thing. So i try and i get it...but i found hard to see is "getter robot" form since no pokemon in the game is able to get my HP bellow half x°D i can easily see the dog form since i just discover i can change form between the 10% and 50% by using the zygarde cube. And i have to say it is dog form look clean in is shiny variation.

  9. Do there are two versions of these ROMs and we have a later version of both it seems?

  10. This event was released after PKHeX's update, so it's not in it's legality checks yet. Also, we get the events straight from the server, so its the real deal.

  11. Press select at title screen to enter debug menu, Choose second top option to play the game with debug options. now, holding B to run allows walk through walls. Also, here's an image document I made to compare old school footage to the data in the game. There's a few map images I haven't been able to replicate or fully replicate, so take a screenshot if you managed to find the spot! Here it is. The image is big, so open in new tab to view it: Do note that the maps I could not replicate, appear to be from an even older showcase of the game. The notable difference, is best exemplified by Tin Tower comparisons. The older copy has glass windows on the doors, and the newer one (and the one leaked) users striped textured doors. edit: I think a bunch of information matches this: http://www.glitterberri.com/pokemon-gold-silver/spaceworld-97-demo/ edit2: I found another image, and managed to match that too!

  12. I opened my PBR save file in the most recent version of PKHex, and I find a duplicate of a Wailord I had in my PC box in the fifth slot of my party, instead of my Gastrodon (East) (Nickname: Katsuraio). EDIT: Nevermind, I realize that PKHex only checks your most prominent Battle Pass team, rather than your actual party Pokemon from Diamond/Pearl. So the only thing I can suggest is to make that clear, so no one gets worried. PbrSaveData

  13. PKHeX does not support non-mainline series games. This includes ROM Hacks and unofficial game dumps.

  14. 1) 3->4 overwrites the met location to Pal Park 4->5 overwrites the met location to transporter thus 3->4->5 ends up with transporter (overwritten on both transfers) 2) Anything with the PID type of "Pokewalker"; you can inspect the PID fields of any specimen and the middle 4 characters are always the same for a given OT (either 0000 or FFFF), due to how the PID creation works. 3) Dream World pkm have a met location of "Entree Forest", which is Met Location 75 in gen5 origin pkm: Pokémon Dream Radar is met location 30015.

  16. I know. As a matter of fact, that's probably the only time we ever see that particular sprite, right ><

  19. The pk2 structure is identical to the final games. Basically a pk2 looks like this. General PK2 Structure 0x00 0x01 0x01 Species ID 0x02 0xFF 0x03 - 0x32 Pokemon data https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_data_structure_in_Generation_II 0x33 - 0x3D OT 0x3E - 0x48 Nickname As you may know OT names and nicknames are stored separately from the rest and the first 3 bytes are not present in the save file. This is also the case for the demo. For the save file the offsets are as follows: 0x2000 Party Pokemon count 0x2001 - 0x2007 Party Pokemon species IDs (+ 0xFF as terminator at the end of the list) 0x2008 - 0x2007 Party Pokemon (30 bytes) 0x2128 - 0x214B OTs (6 bytes, 0x50 as padding bytes) 0x214C - 0x216F Party nicknames (6 bytes, 0x50 as padding bytes) In the RAM you will find the same structure starting with the party Pokemon count at 0xD6AA.

  20. I spend a while with the demo now and it's really interesting. Especially all the Pokemon that never officially released. If you hit select on the title screen a debug menu will open. The second option in there will start the game and saving is actually possible, you can't continue your saved game though. Anyway you could get some pk2 out of the save file but I don't think it's really worth to get any of them as their sprites are the special thing. The title screen by the way looks really nice as well, I like this one even more than the final screen.

  22. I was a big fan of the delta species pokemon back since they first appeared in the TCG and I have considered it but I've found that a lot of players prefer the game without too many gimmicks. Once XG is a bit more complete I'll probably look into making different variants and I know many people are eager to make their own modifications so hack tools are on the way. I replied in the other thread. I hope it helps! I'm glad you like it! I'm working on creating some hack tools so that it'll be easy for any to make their own modifications but I'm a bit of a n00b at this kind of stuff so it'll take require a little patience

  23. Download Location Here PKMs and SAVs can be injected to 3DS games if you have any of the following: Homebrew Menu & any Save Manager App Hacked Console with Custom Firmware JP Cart+JP System using Cyber Save Editor & Dongle NO POWERSAVES. Datel does not allow edited save resigning. NO SKY3DS EITHER. Save files must be decrypted in order to load & save. Methods how to view (not inject) your Powersaves are in the X/Y Save File Research Thread. Complete list of shortcuts and update history is available within program via Options->About. Source code is available on my GitHub. Tutorial Video
