Wow this game is either very unstable or they are discovering the bugs now. I worked so hard to record some nice battle videos for Battle Tree back in 1.0 and then come 1.1 the patch breaks every single one of my battle videos. I was upset about that, so I actually do not know if I should even touch battle videos again in this series. Nothing of that sort happened in XY.3 points

(Pokemon Sun/Moon covers 1) Pokémon Sun and Moon have been updated to version 1.2, coming with the following fixes 2: Existing battle videos will be unusable after the update, which is required for online play. It is unknown whether another ban wave is coming, but as always, we encourage you to avoid major save file edits when going online. Pokémon video games are played worldwide. In fact, as of March, Pokémon X &Y is the top seller for the Nintendo 3DS console by having sold 16.11 million units. Coming in second with 15.44 million units sold is Game Freak’s latest game: Pokémon Sun & Moon. Released near the end of 2016, Pokémon Sun & Moon has been the center piece for this season’s competitive battling. For months, Trainers all around the world have been attending events such as; Global Link battles, Premier Challenges, Midseason Showdowns, Pokémon Regionals, and the much anticipated Pokémon International Championships to earn enough Championship Points (CP) in order to get invited to the 2017 Pokémon World Championships. Battles are comprised of teams of four; subjecting Trainers to the double battle format using only the Alola Pokédex. With the International Challenges already being a third of the way finished, Trainers are busy refining and analyzing their strategies and possibly their teams before they battle in the 2017 North American International Championships. This is the last stop where Trainers can earn more CP before the Pokémon World Championships. The World VGC is an invite only event; players that have earned top ranks in each rating zone and have the most CP will receive an invitation. UPDATE: So far we have seen the European, Oceania, Latin American and most recently the North American International Championships unfold. Listed below are the talented Trainers that placed first in each class in each event. Congratulations to you and to everyone that has made it to the top! European Masters: Miguel Marti de la Torre Senior: Jan Tillmann Junior: Matilda Petrasic Oceania Masters: Zoe Lou Senior: Carson St. Denis Junior: Nicholas Kan Latin American Masters: Ashton Cox Senior: Carson St. Denis Junior: Nicholas Kan North American Masters: Christopher Kan Senior: Alfredo Chang-Gonzalez Junior: Nicholas Kan Please take note of these particular Pokémon VGC Rules: Sources: Pokemon.com, Statista.com View full article1 point

(Pokemon Sun/Moon covers 1) Nintendo has released a patch for Pokémon Sun and Moon introducing the following game balance fixes 2: Battle videos recorded before applying the update are incompatible with this patch and will be unplayable after installing it. With regards to game hacking, this may break ROM hacks, depending on whether or not the ROM hack modified the game's executable. If you are playing such a ROM hack, you will either need to refrain from updating or wait for the author to update the hack. Save editors like PKHeX are unaffected. @SciresM's SMPatcher has been updated to version 1.1 to provide compatibility with the update, and can be downloaded here 3. If you are new to SMPatcher, it will modify the game executable to make QR scanning and PKHeX importing much similar. In order to use it, you will need to have CFW, which can currently be installed using the latest firmware. The recommended installation guide can be found here. Here is a list of patches that SMPatcher can apply to Sun or Moon: Sources: Pokémon Sun and Moon Official Website Serebii SciresM's GitHub View full article1 point

This commit fixes #3. #1 requires a refactor similar to PokeGen's "Target Game" selection. Kaphotics has been asked about that in the past, and while it's not entirely ruled out, it's not a priority since users can just load a backup of the appropriate Generation's save file format (in the "bak" directory more than likely). I know I do that for testing.1 point

It's as possible as striking the lottery (all balls in Loto) and also getting struck by lightning, and also having a meteor crush your house, all 3 happening at the same time concurrently. Not truly impossible, but likelihood highly unlikely.1 point

So yeah, I managed to find a solution of sorts. To be fair though its one of those really simple solutions that is easy to miss. Make a copy of PKHeX.exe.config and rename the copy to PKHaX.exe.config, this will actually let PKHaX.exe boot up successfully. I am sorry for the trouble but it did seem like a bug that needed to be fixed.1 point

Seems like a small oversight to me, they probably store the region of at least the sav and possibly the pkm (otherwise, they'll grab it on the spot, same result) and it looks like they uses the same region variable/method by accident Sent from my XT1635-02 using Tapatalk1 point

Well I'm trying to get it to be usable soon. But so far I'm having some issues because of the tree view thing.. I might drop that part for something simpler if I can't get things to be tidier and working like I want.. Plus it creates a ton of redundancy.. Also right now it only does import. So keep in mind a big part of the work is left to do You mean the levels graphics and backgrounds? That's coming in another tool! This thing is basically some practice before I get to work on the level editor Here's another peek at the WIP UI. Tho, I feel I could probably make a sort of thumbnail preview instead of the treeview.. I'll have to investigate..1 point

Neato I hope I'll be able to play with this soon. I've been attempting some pokemon sprites (gen 5 and up) and an attempt at giving Mareep special starter animation sprites. Does this just cover the pokemon sprites and status effects, or will you be able to do the overworld and special effects as well?1 point
