I got them. Actually you can find their encrypted .pk4 data in party format (so 236 Bytes each) in RAM at 0x0226D1D0. Oh well the address seems to change, but they should be somewhere around there. Roselia.pk4 Lucario.pk4 MimeJr.pk46 points

Well, you always seem to be looking for interesting stuff I didn't even know existed so I'll be following your posts.3 points

You guys never cease to amaze me. I don't know what to say, other than thanks!2 points

First dump arm9 or arm7 (they seem to dump the same information for me), next, search via Moves. I'm presently searching Lucario (8B017E01C6003F01) [in hex, accounted for endianness], which are the 4 moves in exact order, as seen in the summary page. It showed up around 5 times, also nearby Lucario's ID number (C001) [in hex, account for endianness]. I'm not sure if this format is similar to the NDS structure we are aware of, cause some details look different. Blocks A, B, C and D are also likely shuffled, so it'll take a while on my end.2 points

Actually I'm digging through the RAM. Since the game usually decrypts the Pokemon when game is running, and the Pokemon is in party, it's possible to find it in the RAM.2 points

It still works cause they couldn't even be bothered to change the rom. [also, they potentially can block you from transferring the Mew over to newer games] (if you unpack the the VC rom, and compare the game itself, it's exactly the same) However, their VC program does allow running patches alongside it, which was done to things like reducing flashes of the games (probably a thing after the Porygon Epileptic mayhem), changing of Jynx's colors on Pokemon Yellow (the color was changed after uninformed people thought the game was being racist, so this is to match the present color scheme), allowing the trading function to use 3DS' wireless capabilities, and Yellow surfing Minigame without stadium connection.2 points

Hey, I injected a solrock into my Entra Link forest and catched it in a dream ball. I'm attaching it for you to have some reference to work with. By the way, the met date is 2010 because I forget do change my ds date to today. 338 - Solrock - F8D7694C8C0A.pk52 points

I downloaded this last year and still had it on my computer in my gen 4 files to sort. I'm 99% sure this is the original file since it's full of Korean Pokemon and the way I named it. I'm re-uploading it for anybody who may still want them. 8 DS Events for ReignOfComputer.7z2 points

I'm not sure if there are any bytes to identify the party. I started a battle and dumped the RAM in DeSmuMEs Memory Viewer. Then I searched for the Pokemons moves, the first result was my Pokemon (Lucario) which was currently in the battle. Now from the offset of the first move id I substracted 20 (0x14) to get the offset of it's PID. Then I just had to search for the PID to find the encrypted data.1 point

Here is a video of a guy who created a bot in order to get them. I cannot help you much about it. So my next hunt will be FunFiesta in gen5, Demo Pokemon in gen4 and surely the Bug-Catching Contest Venomoth later1 point

IPS patch for Luvdisc is back in this post: As for Pikachu, since the egg was ripped out from RAM, and it wasn't a rom edit, I won't be able to write up a ips patch for that. It'll take a person with actual rom disassembly skills to know where the checksum figure was supposed to go and calculate, and fix that, then proceed to patch it. I doubt we'll see that at all, since there's not much of a point to it.1 point

Here we go with the 3 Japanese Exclusive Pokemon Red/Green Pokemon. In order to get the lv100 Chansey from Japanese Pokemon Blue we need the bank switch. 023 - アーボ - DFCE.pk1 103 - ナッシー - 1F2D.pk1 112 - サイドン - 4389.pk11 point

Has been fixed on the latest commits (~3d ago); as for trashing it's been too long for me to remember. "Gifts are transferred via Wonder Card, which players can store up to three of. This forces players to discard used Wonder Cards so that they will have no more than two cards before receiving another Mystery Gift."1 point

It says that in this post, that using PKHeX, we can transfer pokemon from old versions to gen 6. Can I transfer directly from 3 then going to 6 without having problems in legality? or i need to do steps 3->4->5->6? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: So now I confirmed that I can directly transfer by skipping other gens. But I think I encountered a possible bug? Generation 3 to 6 As we can see here, there is no egg met condition given, is this okay? (Ninjask was hatched from egg) Generation 4 to 6 Here I think worked alright, because the egg met conditions were retained and the met location was properly set as Poke Transfer. Generation 5 to 6 In the two images above, we can see that the Met info was just copied and not modified. PS: The pokemons shown are not Pokegened nor PKHeXed, they are all RNGed.1 point

Following our recent hack, we’ve finally restored our infrastructure: the forums have been migrated to IP.Board, and we’ve brought back the wiki. Special thanks to our entire administration team, @xorhash, and @ReignOfComputer for helping to set things up. Invision Power Board Invision Power Board (IP.Board, IPB) is a state-of-the-art forum software with a better security reputation than vBulletin, which we used to use. As vBulletin 4 approached EOL and clearly showed its age, we were considering how to proceed: with vBulletin 5 or something else entirely. The choice, as you can clearly see, has been made. Some of you have already asked why we didn’t choose the software du jour XenForo. This is due to a few reasons: peer, our new technical administrator, has worked with XenForo in the past and repeatedly hit its (and peer’s) limits. We had an IP.Board license readily available, whereas we’d have had to purchase XenForo separately. Looking at the track record of vBulletin for security, and seeing how XenForo is mostly the old vBulletin guys starting a new project, there were security concerns. If you have any questions about using Invision Power Board, please create a thread in the Forums Feedback forum. Staff Changes Due to concerns in real life, @Alpha has decided to no longer be the primary administrator. This means he’ll still be around, but will be less active than usual. We thank him for his hard work maintaining Project Pokémon, and his absence is a loss to Project Pokémon. Helping to fill his place will be myself and @peer, who is our new technical administrator. Furthermore, we’d like to announce the promotion to super moderator for @Kaphotics, @SciresM, and @theSLAYER. Data Loss The hackers deleted a large quantity of data, including some of our more recent backups. As a result, we have lost one year of forum attachments and a up to a few hours of forum posts. The good news is that @theSLAYER, our event moderator, has stockpiled generations of events and several programs, so the situation could have been far worse. @peer is looking into setting up automatic offsite backups to prevent this from happening again. Hashed passwords are still in the wild. We strongly encourage you to immediately change your passwords here and everywhere you’ve used the same passwords. While hashed passwords are not supposed to be reversible (i.e. your password shouldn’t be able to be derived from the hash), vBulletin’s hashing algorithm is very weak, making it that much more important you change your passwords. The Future Let’s not let the data loss get us down; it’s time to move forward. With the recent release of Pokémon Sun and Moon, there still cool things to discover, technical details to be researched, and ROM hacks to be created. (Not to mention there’s some cool stuff going on in the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon side of things - more on this later.) As a reminder, the User-Submitted News forum was introduced a few weeks ago to help bring attention to things such as updates to Save and ROM editors, ROM hacks, and other cool stuff worthy of the front page. If you know of anything noteworthy, post it there so it has a chance to be seen by all! Closing Statements We would like to, once more, apologize for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our staff, create a thread in the appropriate feedback forum, or ask in our IRC channel.1 point
