"Fatal non-UI error" When I try to open PKHex, I'm on windows 7 and I am not all that tech savvy. I just wanna play video games. Help me please.

Alright so recently I received a .sav for a Pokemon Ranger GS, and Pokemon Ranger SOA with all the Wifi missions. How would I put that on my save? Also when I used those savs on Desmume the option New Game appeared.

I wanted to find an answer regarding wonder cards and event pokemon from previous generations being genned into SuMo. Will i need to inject the wondercard into this save if it is from a previous game in pkhex? Specifically I dragged a shiny sludge wave gengar into pkhex without importing the wondercard and it was registered as legal and i was able to use it online without an issue, Just wanted to make sure what i did is all right in the case that i would import other event pokemon in the future, thanks!

As of recently i can't use any updated versions of pkhex bc norton wants to see it as a threat/virus. i included a screenshot of what norton is sayin. it says sum kind of trojan is attached to pkhex of the name Heur.AdvML.C i have downloaded both pkhex from 01-31-2017 and 02-07-2017, and cant use them. i can use the pkhex file from 12-31-2016. i only download pkhex from this site as that is all i trust. any info or help?

Hello, I tried to edit my Magearna from the recent event and I keep getting this error message for its legality: Invalid Relearn Move 1: Static encounter relearn move mismatch. I don't know how to fix this, please help.

Hello everyone, I've been using PkHex for a while now, but with the new Pokebank Update that came out, I seem to be running into a problem. I have a Zekrom with me that is legal on all aspects except for this Invalid Geolocation Memories tick. Could anyone explain to me what I am doing wrong, or what I need to do to fix this error? I tried clearing the Geolocation memories in the memories tab, but as soon as I go to check the legality, it says the same error and puts back the Geolocation credentials. I tried using the TLW save manager to backup a save, gen pokemon, then restore it. I did this twice, on two different games (black, white2). When i opened both after restoring, they would load in but only with a black screen nothing else. Im not changing the name of the save at all. I believe im doing everything required, as I've been told by another genner. Any ideas? If you dont have a clue why thats happening, what do you suggest i get so that I can gen in Generation 5 games via pkhex?

I'm just wondering so I don't have any problems with my game. Can you bring illegal Pokemon into the Battle Tree or Battle Royal? e.g. Shedinja w/ Sturdy, Alolan Muk w/ Air Balloon + Wonder Guard.

So, I've been having this problem for a while now, and from various searches online, I have either concluded that a) I am horrible at troubleshooting, b) I screwed up my pc somehow, or c) this problem isn't very common. I use emulators to play some of the earlier pokemon games- anything before gen 6 I only play on Desmume or VBA, and sometimes I use pokegen whenever I want to train a pokemon, like riolu, which I either don't get in the game, or don't obtain until later on, or if I want to play fanmade games like pokemon Storm Silver. Now, whenever I load up a gen 4 game- be it the gen 2 remakes or the D/P/Pt, it loads up my save states perfectly fine, and I can edit as I please, but the second I hit save, it suddenly shuts down on its own, and doesn't save my data. For some reason, this doesn't happen on Gen 5 games. I've tried redownloading pokegen, redownloading the roms, even repatching the gen 4 fangames, but nothing seems to work. Has this happened to anyone else, and if so, can someone please offer some advice?

Hi, I hope someone can help me? I'm playing Pokémon Silver on 3DS with the recently released patches to enable wireless trading. I extracted the sav.dat with JKSM but it won't be read by the 09-18-16 release of PKHeX: Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. File Size: 32784 bytes (0x8010) I tried renaming the .dat as a .sav so I'm imagining that the file size is the issue, and that it's something to do with the patches used to port the games to VC, or just the VC emulator itself creating saves in a format that PKHeX can't use for Gen II? EDIT: Worth noting I think, Pikasav will load the file once renaming the file extension. But I'd rather use the fantastic PKHeX if possible!

Hey! I have been struggling a bit with the friendship on pkhex. When I try to trade the Pokemon after editing, its Happiness resets to base. I know that this is normal but is there way to keep it max happiness for the person who receives the Pokemon as well?

Thanks to my n3DS being handily updated to 11.2 by my friend last month, my 3DS is running completely stock and I'm not able to do the stuff I want to, but that's another topic. I ran into a shiny Mimikyu, and it has the worst possible nature you could have on a Mimikyu, which is nice. I was wondering whether anyone here would be able to switch it for me using PKHeX? After I install homebrew in the 3DS, where I can find a guide to inject pokemon (I prefer use this method over edit my file, but I'm not sure is this posible), I understand that to play a gen VII game is neccesary to update to the latest firmware for 3DS, but the 3DS with homebrew/Custom firmware this will not create a problem? With the custom firmware I can create a backup of my gamefile to check in pkhex? and last after I inject something in the game, is there a problem to use the game in a unaltered 3DS? (Specifically a new 3DS)

I read is not possible to use the web browser injection in Gen VII, and that is must be done through homebrew (I'm not sure this is the way to inject now, I'm a little late in news about this), but what is necessary to use homebrew? Is possible with a old 3DS (Firmware version: 9.5.0-22U) ?

sorry im new to this ,hope its in the right area , i am getting sun and moon and am interested in using this hex program so i can get shinies cause i have never been able to obtain one and or some extra money in game . only for my personal amusement as i dont really do the online competitive part of pokemon. i tried looking up tutorial videos on how to do this hex program and homebrew .and the video said i need a program or game called cubic ninja to make pk hex and home brew work? does this cubic ninja cost money and is it easy to use? i have the new nintendo 3ds if that makes a difference on software version 11.2
