  1. I remember hearing rumors that the e-Card ticket could only be shared like, 3 or 4 times (guess they mixed it up with the ticket from the German debug ROM).

Hello readers! Here is another file by me for rom hacking. It is a hybrid Parody of the Windows 8 Internet Explorer logo and the GBA e-Reader logo. As both things died out with a bad reputation, and are significantly different from this, I did no wrong. I also used a Public Domain Wikipedia version of Internet Explorer's Metro Logo, which I modded in GNU Inkscape with 2 simple polygons, (a circle and rectangle,) so as to resemble both logos as an allusion to the Mobile System GB, which had webmail ability. I feel that this makes a perfect joke, and I colored it to black to avoid robots falsely flagging it as copyrighted, when I made it using PD resources to resemble abandoned tech, therefore resulting in no legal trouble. It is in SVG vector format at 256x256, so it will need to be rasterized and recolored to blue to work in a hack before resizing. It cannot go as small as the original, but it is still able to go down to 32 or 64x instead of 16x. It also works at 1bpp, so use as you wish. I offer it as Public Domain under Creative Commons CC-0 PD Dedication. Use it for making distro cards, custom pokedex cards, DS homebrew for Lites with E-readers, and Gamecube Homebrew with anything you want on the cards. This will disclaim it from a real card due to its shape.
  3. Tool e-berry and e-trainer will be included in tool the wonder cards?
  4. IIRC Stamp Pokemon have all IVs of 0? Can someone confirm it for me? And reading through the code for NegaiBoshi, I wouldn't be surprised if something like that did happen since setting the flag to the wrong value would indicate you are providing IVs, when you might have meant to generate them. EDIT: I might be thinking about E-card pokemon.

This Pokémon was distributed to commemorate the release of the TCG Expansion: Cosmic Eclipse. For players in Europe, players can obtain the serial code from participating retailers between October 1 to November 15, 2019. This marks the first time Shiny Solgaleo is available in the games, as Solgaleo is shiny-locked in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Ultra Sun. 6. The save uploaded one is just a proof of concept, (especially with fix94's tool), but the Region spoofer has potentially game breaking glitches or crashes with battling, (due to different offsets?). I do not know if it affects GC or GBA battles, but I assume gba ones are. Hex editing may fix it. While we have been able to mod the Jirachi disc to send to us/JP Kanto games, this may help with the Celebi disc, as we can use the unused American Agate Celebi and Colos pikachu for the original event's first Celebi, and mod the gba event with Colbtl.bin. This may end up being able to fix battles if we hex it right. Who knows, we may be able to use this to allow Japanese Colosseum e-reader cards from HaxAras to load on US saves, and to possibly load the unreleased cards. If all shadow e-card Pokémon are purified, it may even add to the Celebi count. We also have no clue if gba Celebi are shiny locked, and this would help test it. Same goes for the e-cards, with the help of Ralf@gc-forever, we can make the first Celebi infinite, and change it out for other events to help research it or yank PKM files from Ralf codes. We can also make tools to turn 3gpkm/pk3 files into those codes. With Ralf codes, we can crack the algorithm Celebi is distributed with to see if we can find a similar exploit to Jirachi. We can even load the code via colosseum itself using fix94's PokeLoad exploit. In addition, the save file in the "pika-sav.zip" file called "RubyDe.sav" has a fresh, untouched, Still-in-Gen3 Channel Jirachi from Germany in it. Please send it to RoC. hopefully this helps. 7. I haven't read this thread in a while so I'll have to go back later and do that in the next few days. I discovered a YouTube video claiming you could scan in the Colosseum E-reader cards into non-Japanese saves as long as you have a Japanese E-reader +, the cards and a means of getting into the room. I didn't need a save/hexidecimal editor. That is far beyond me. I used an Action Replay Max and a "Cutting Room Floor" Action Replay code to spawn in the room. Requirements: Pokemon Colosseum/GameCube/TV are all a given. Pokemon Colosseum E-Reader + cards Japanese E-reader + GBA - GCN link cable GBA handheld Action Replay Max and memory card "The Cutting Room Floor" Action Replay code. Once you enter in the code and start up Colosseum, you'll be in the E-reader room using your original game and save. This is where the cheating stops. Link up your E-reader to your GameCube and scan in the cards, battle and win and eventually you'll be able to get legit shadow Pokemon on your non Japanese saves using legit hardware and not needing to edit anything using hexidecimal. I'm not the biggest fan of emulation so this is more my thing. I know not everybody can get their hands on these E-reader cards, etc. So this is just an option in case you can. I feel this is far easier than messing with save conversions. I'm actually wondering if this can be done in emulation. Just boot up your regions copy of the game, connect the Japanese E-reader + using whatever it is you guys use and "scan" the codes into your non J saves. If anybody has a PAL copy of Colosseum/XD, I'd also love to ask you a few questions. I'll edit in my video unless somebody (I doubt it) replies before the parts are done being combined and it's uploaded and titled. Would anybody happen to know what the ID's/PID's for these Pokemon to be shiny would be? Edit: Here's the video I promised. Scanning Japanese Colosseum Battle E cards into an English save using a Japanese E-reader +. [video=youtube;dqMv5BdOP18] I'd suggest skipping the first 4 minutes if vulgar language offends you. I talk like a sailor and it's me just basically explaining what I'm doing. I put timestamps in the description because the majority of the video is me failing while I try to figure this out. I always like to document my failures so other people can potentially save time down the line. I actually loaded up another one of my videos to solve a problem with this one so it's safe to say that it's a good idea to do so. I'll be making a video of my scanning in and battling all the other trainers at a later date. Edit: 12/5/16 A video I found on YouTube (also mentioned before, I think) said that the English E-reader will not work with the Japanese cards. But the Japanese E-reader WILL work with the English games. The PID of the Colosseum Pokemon are not fixed. I have my English copy, Trigger Deaths copies and my Japanese copies and they all have different PID's. The games have a max of 51 Purify-able shadow Pokemon. I ripped trigger_deaths Shadow Pokemon using a save editor and put them on my Japanese save file as I was going for those. I purified his Togepi first, it kept his OT and language. My count increased by 1 and it didn't increase past 51, even after I purified all 6 shadow Pokemon. (Maybe I did it on an English save. Now I can't remember.)
  8. It's none of the said reasons. But there is also another reason when you think of it. In order to make an Event as legit (or even legal) as possible without having the real thing, you would have to reconstruct the whole process of what actually happens when you load an official Event. As a perfectionist I feel kinda unsatisfied sometimes with the idea of "injection" and make no mistake about it, I think it's a great thing and we did a great job. Or I should better say sukoku did a great job. But we gotta admit that it could be better and I mean not only in the case of Mystery Events but also Mystery Gifts. I was told very often that in order to make it really legal or legit you would have to load the Event via Mystery Event as it should be. I couldn't understand it first, because to me injection looked fine, but it's true that Injection is kinda like a "shortcut" to get the result you want to have at the end without having to deal with the whole process of actually receiving the Event in real time while playing as it was meant to be... Now technically spoken and I gotta say this... I'm not even sure if everything that changes in an save file in an injection compared to downloading an Event gives the exact same result. We have some before and after save files, but I haven't done any documentation about them since I was extremely busy during the time and I don't know if suloku has done it, I think he should have done it, but I don't know. I know I said this before but even better and more empirical would be to disassemble the Event itself rather than just documenting. Now an European Eon Ticket Cartridge has been leaked but is out of reach unfortunately. Luckily we still have the US Eon Ticket e-Card and let's assume when you use it with the e-Reader, it should be almost identical to what's going on when you use a Distribution Rom. We are at least lucky that its packages have been documentated already: http://forums.glitchcity.info/index.php?topic=7114.0 This brings me back to what I'm actually trying to do. And I'm not sure if I would personally bother to look more into it for only one Event, so that's why I was trying to make this e-Card right away with what's been documented already. I don't get it to work so I think maybe there are some undocumented differences when it comes to Japanese e-Cards... who knows...
  9. I found a video on YouTube. The guy used a custom GameCube Action Replay code to get into the room using an English save. He then claimed you could scan the cards in as long as you were using a Japanese E-reader + Description I'll be testing this out myself, hopefully sometime soon using my own cards. No emulators.
  10. Been a long time since I've been on here lol @Sabresite I've got the English E-Card Pokemon extracted from the saves if still needed, I've also have all the other languages if need but I'll need to find those saves and extract them.
  11. I've tried using Suloku's Mystery Gift Tool multiple times to inject the test E-reader card and it's not working. Anybody have an idea why it might not work? Edit: it just constantly tells me the save has been corrupted and reverts to the original save every single time. I'll be off to work. So if anybody has any ideas, I can try later. Hopefully it's a short day.

  13. @HaxAras thank you very much for the saves! I've been thinking and I remembered that when a e-card is read, a program is stored in the e-reader, then you use that program to transfer the mistery event to the savefile. So, it would be far more interesting to have the saves from the e-reader that have scanned the cards (if you are willing to share them), as that would allows to use vba-link (or my boy in android) to actually enable the event. I've checked my files and I have a file with a collection of e-reader saves from the USA e-reader cards, including 48 numbered battle-e trainer cards + 6 more trainers , 6 berries (chilan, drash, eggant, nutpea, pumpkin and strib) and a lot of cards that I think had minigames for the e-reader (aquapolis, expedition and skyridge cards). It also has 4 japanesse trainer saves. I don't know if japanesse saves for e-reader are available (probably, but I can't find them); it would be very interesting to have the saves for at least the dolls and japanesse berries. EDIT: here are the USA e-reader saves, I don't know were the file I have with 4 japanese cards came from: http://ereader.kiczek.com/ The point is it seems the dolls don't have any script, the card just puts them in the inventory. Morfeo probably made a giveitem script that would check if the dolls were owned as a way to give them only a single time.

  15. They are 0 even on japanesse? Those are some useless shadow pokemon... maybe I'll check the e-card data, but I think the feature is in colosseum, reading the card just enables it.
  16. Are you guys saying that custom trainers can't be made at all or just in Emerald? I'm uploading saves with every single E-READER card I own scanned in. Do you think it might be possible to rip the data and inject it into a different save?

  19. As i said the PAL version of Pokemon Colloseum does not work with the e-reader in Dolphin but the JP version works. I dont know it doesnt working with the PAL game is an error with dolphin or just e-reader works with the american version but not with the european one. BUT it is possible to have an unreleased pokemon with PAL version using just Dolphin and VBA. I explain what i did First, change the region of your savegame to JP, to do that open the gci save file with an hex editor and change the first 4 bytes. In PAL the first bytes is GC6P and USA savefile will have GC6U or maybe GC6E, we need GC6J for JP version. Just like that, nothing more. The save banner will be the wrong one but doesn't matter, the game doesn't care about the banner. Now open again the save file with PkmGCSaveEditor and change the region and language in Game Configuration to NTSC-J and Japanesse or else the game will not works. Inject the gci file into the memory card raw for japanesse games with the memory card tool included with dolphin and then press the option "Fix Checksum". Load the japanesse ISO, remember to do not have the GBA pluged into controller port B or else the controller will not works. You just need to load the game and then select GBA in port B controller options. Load the e-reader+ rom in VBA. I use myself the version VisualBoyAdvance-M-SVN-r1507, that version have options to load e-reader raw dotcodes. In VBA select link connection with Dolphin and connect. In the Gamecube load your savefile a go to the e-reader room in Phenac Stadium. In VBA select GameCube connection and then in Gamecube talk to the woman at the left and select the first option, a program will be loaded into the GBA. This is the point where the PAL game does not works, it wont connect with VBA, but the japanesse game will. You can now make a savestate in VBA and use it always to connect to GC, that way wont be necesary to do the process of download the program to the GBA anymore. But do not try to make savestates in Dolphin, i did it and then Dolphin could not save the files in its memory card. You will need to play in Dolphin without savestates, using only normal save files. Ok, now the e-reader part. In VBA select load e-reader dot code and load one of the Colloseum cards, for example the first card, A1. It wont do nothing, is normal. Then go to elevator in GC and enter. It will launch a japanesse menu with a list (still empty) of e-reader trainers, here if you press A it will load the last card readed in VBA, in this case the fist trainer, and inmediatly the fight will begin. After beating the first trainer, you will return to the e-reader menu. If you press A again it will tell you that you need to read the next cards of the series. Go to VBA an load another card, for example the card A2. Another fight will begin. You can read the card in VBA whanever anytime, the GC will read the last card loaded when you press A in the e-trainers menu. You can read the cards in any order, you can a card of a defeated trainer and it will starts a fight with more levels until you beat him in 3 difficulties. If you leave the e-trainers menu you will need to talk again to the left woman to check the connection with the VBA, thats way is impossible to fight the trainers without e-reader using a save editor, the game will check the connection with GBA and it will check the e-reader before allow you to start a battle. After beating 5 trainers in a row in one difficulty mode you will fight a special trainer. After beating 20 trainers and 4 special trainers in one difficulty the shadow trainer will appeared in the room. Here comes the unrealeshed part. Now exit the e-trainers menu, you will see the trainer waiting in front of the door. Ignore him, just save the game and stop the emulator. Now, with the dolphin memory card tool extract the japanesse save game and make all the changes from the start but backwards, we want the file again ready for the PAL/NTSC-U game. Hexesit, PkmGCSaveEditor, inject it into the PAL/USA memory card and fix checksum again. Now load your PAL/NTSC-U game, you will be in the e-reader room with the shadow trainer available. Just beat it and catch your shadow unreleased pokemon. After that you will need to repeat the process again 2 times more, to beat again all the trainers in Normal difficult for the 2ns shadow pokemon, and hard for the 3rd.
  20. When it comes to Event Pokemon we still miss what @Sabresite said + Sapporo Pikachu, PokePark Taiwan Jirachi, Rocks Metang, and Jeremy... (To confirm Trash Bytes ect. so everything needs to be Gen3!) Mystery Events: I think the Eon Tickets are completed. Except if there was a distribution in America other than the e-Card... Mystery Gifts: All what's missing in terms of Mystery Gifts you can see in the first post. Edit: All Mystery Events and Mystery Gifts can be found here from now...
  21. Not that I know. The Emerald Version of the Eon Ticket Event as we know used the hardcoded script that is activated by the activation of a simple flag. Besides all the Emerald e-Cards I saw so far were Trainer Cards. + Correct me if I'm wrong... (Mystery Events & e-Cards are still new to me in many ways, so I don't know too much about them...) R&S e-Cards and FR&LG e-Cards are incompabitle with Emerald? This would basically mean that besides the Eon Ticket Mystery Event there were only Trainer Events in Emerald. And the function you found was appearently completely unused. So it's kinda interesting to know about it. Would be cool to figure out that checksum too... The question remains if it's worth all the effort... Btw. great to hear that the Berry Editor is coming!

  23. Hey guys, I don't mean to spam this thread, but I found this while searching in Google and I've been following the process of you guys working on these tools. I have a quick question, is it possible to inject the Old Sea Map wonder card into a Japanese save and then transfer that wonder card in game from that save to an English save, and 'legally' obtain the Old Sea Map that way? Also, after I injected the wonder card into my Japanese save, I could not receive the Old Sea Map. The man on the 2nd floor of the PC would just 'thank me for using Mystery Gift'. I think there might be a bug or something. P.S., there is another thread on this site that provides a ZIP with a lot of the official e-Reader files and a tool to inject them. Pretty cool, I've been checking them all out: https://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46216-GEN-3-e-Reader-Event-Injection
  24. I have used the JK save manager to create a save file on my 2DS SD card, but when I try to open the save file in to PKHeX there is an error which appears (I am on the latest file of PKHeX and homebrew etc). I have made 2 saves, each of them say the same thing apart from the /save1 turns into /save2. This is the message that pops when I try to load my save file on PKHeX: "Attempted to load an unsupported file type/size. File loaded: E:3ds/JKSV/Saves/Pokémon_Ultra_Sun/save1/main File Size: 445440 bytes (0x6CC00)" This may not be the correct place to get help, therefore I apologise for this. The save file will be attached below, and the save file is from Pokémon Ultra Sun. I have successfully loaded my Pokémon Moon save file into PKHeX, however is still unable to sort out my Pokémon Ultra Sun save, which is really unfortunate because I have gotten to the point of beating the elite four. -There is hacked pokemon in my pc box, which I've traded from my Pokémon Moon save-. However, I would really appreciate if someone could help me, because I have tried everything I know of myself, it's just refusing to load into PKHeX and resulted in me just becoming puzzled and every tutorial I have taken on PKHeX to apparently "help" fix, didn't work, I'm sure I'm doing something wrong. Sorry for wasting your time, If you help, thank you, I appreciate it main
  25. The Japanese E-reader CAN scan the card data into the English game. That's MY video to show proof that it's possible. I'll post pictures of all my games and E-reader's and cards if you don't believe me. http://digiex.net/downloads/download-center-2-0/nintendo-game-boy-content-gb-gbc-gba/save-games/14690-pokemon-gen3-legit-event-pokemon-save-ruby-sapphire-emerald-firered-leafgreen-post76642.html#post76642 I've purified trigger_death's English E-reader Pokemon and my Japanese ones. I have not made my personal English ones from the video public. As I've only shared them with my best friend and they're 2 of a kind. I'm actually trying to collect every single ribbon on them. I don't know anything about RNG (Other than I hate it). I need to play through Colosseum again soon. A friend and I want to play through it together. It might take a while but I could provide more save files to experiment with.
