Friend Code (Nintendo Switch)

Friend Code (3DS)

NNID (Wii U)

  1. Pokemon Ruby and Saphire didn't used Mystery Gift system. They used different system called "Mystery Event". The most of Mystery Events required e-Reader and e-Cards (like EON TICKET Event). Unlike Mystery Gifts, Mystery Events were distributed with a link cable, not with Wireless Adapter. E-Reader Mystery Event distribution can be also emulated. [video=youtube;zSrLvgGbB2Y]video Here's a video I found. It shows how to emulate EON TICKET distribution. I hope this helped.
  2. I just defeated the E4 round 1 on version 1.4 (e: 1.3? whichever one was before 2.0). My team was: Ferrothorn@Leftovers/Iron Barbs Leech Seed Stealth Rock Power Whip Iron Head Rotom-W@Leftovers/Levitate Hydro Pump Volt Switch Shadow Ball Will-o'-Wisp Blaziken@Blazikenite/Blaze Bulk Up Stone Edge Flare Blitz Hi Jump Kick Latios@Soul Dew/Levitate Calm Mind Draco Meteor Psychic Ice Beam Garchomp@Assault Vest/Rough Skin Crunch Dragon Claw Earthquake Stone Edge Crobat@Nothing!/Inner Focus Acrobatics Thief Cross Poison Toxic I'll be attempting Round 2 after the Delta Episode (and probably updating to the 679 or Leveled version, as leveling new team members takes an absolute age of running around rematching trainers). I wonder how different the E4 is from Round 1. Since I've nominally completed the game, here's my review: It's excellent! Any and all problems I had with it were related to things that are completely fixed by the 679 build. I did end up spending the majority of my money on healing items, largely Max Potions, and holding a few Full Restores and Revives in reserve. I didn't end up using any Revives on the E4/Champion but they were very useful for earlier gym leaders or Ace Trainers when species availability was limited. Basically, the increase in cost on Revives and Full Restores completely succeeded in its goal, along with the easy availability of Sacred Ash reducing frustration and tedious running back to Pokemon Centers. EV training, hunting for high IV wild Pokemon, and looking for the correct Nature didn't seem to matter much; two team members were fully EV trained and the others just naturally gained EVs throughout the game, and I couldn't really tell you that there was a dramatic difference in performance (since it seems that opponents mostly have perfect IVs and will outdo you anyway). Great romhack all around! According to my Trainer Card I have 120 hours played at the start of the Delta Episode; I would estimate I played probably 90-100 hours of that time and left the 3DS open while doing something else for the rest of it. It also took just about a month of occasional play to enter the Hall of Fame for the first time (from March 15th to April 11th). Question: I remember something about the first three players with to beat the E4 round two (with proof) replacing an NPC or something like that. Is that still on, and if so, does the battle style have to be set to Set or can it be left on Shift?
  3. Hi All I cannot get my Pokémon from pkhex onto my game. I am doing very thing on you tube video said about make Pokémon on pkhex them I add the files to my SD card them I put it back into my Nintendo 3ds xl and go into the Pokémon y game them Internet browser them go into URL and put in loadcode.projectpokemon.org but I do not get my Pokémon. Frist my ver is 10.7.0-32 E is there any way for me to get my Pokémon or is there any time in future so that people like me can Pokémon there make in the past into Pokémon game. I use to you pokemon check to get my legal pokemon but know that I found pkhex I thought that I had found I way to make legal pokemon again and I could add them to my pokemon game
  4. Thanks. The Eon Ticket in this save file is not the missing Italian one. It is from the US e-Card unfortunately.
  5. I just collected all the offsets, does anyone know the e-Reader berry offset for Emerald? According to the script in the ROM it should be able to load it. Section 0 RS 0x498 - 0x553 e-Card Trainer E 0xBEC - 0xCA7 e-Card Trainer FRLG 0x4A0 - 0x55B e-Card Trainer Section 4 RS 0x2E0 - 0x80F e-Card Berry RS 0x810 - 0xBFB Mystery Event Script RS 0xBFC - 0xC03 Record Mixing Item E 0x360 - 0x51F Wonder News E 0x520 - 0x66F Wondercard E 0x860 - 0xC4B Deliveryman Script E 0x854 - 0xC93 Mystery Event Script E 0xC94 - 0xC9B Record Mixing Item FRLG 0x2A0 - 0x45F Wonder News FRLG 0x460 - 0x5AF Wondercard FRLG 0x79C - 0xB87 Deliveryman Script EDIT: I searched for the berry RAM address in the US Ruby and then tried searching for the surrounding bytes in the US Emerald, but without luck. Maybe Norman's script is just a leftover from RS which is unused now. That would even make sense since the berry should be saved in the same section as the Wondercards. The amount of data won't fit in there together. This would mean if you received a wondercard and had a custom berry on your save before, it would be overwritten and thus the berry would become an Enigma Berry which shouldn't be.
  6. The European Eon Tickets are distributable 99 (0x63) times. The e-Card Eon Ticket is 30 (0x1E) times. The German Eon Ticket I shared from the Ruby Debug ROM is only distributable 5 times.
  7. As Evan pointed out, you need to put it into your 3ds folder. Not your SD Card's main directory. Look at the top of the image below, my braindump is located in (E: )/3ds not just {E: ). It needs to be placed in the same folder as other apps that may have come with your Homebrew files, such as menuhax, hans, or Save Manager.
  8. I'm mainly posting this to subscribe to this thread. I wanted to do this buy you completely lost me at the hex editor part. I have a complete Japanese save from when I was going for a legit Ageto Celebi and I have most of the stuff. I want a complete as possible gen 3 collection so I had intentions of getting the E-cards. Is there no other way to do this?
  9. Good to know. I just don't want anyone I share Trainer Wonder Cards with to be confused at the mention of passwords that are useless. In fact, I normally don't care about unused events, but I'm making an exception for these Trainer Wonder Cards since they're the same as the e-Reader Trainers for R/S (IE, a "for fun" thing that won't affect anything major).
  10. This has nothing to do with the thread - make your own. Sorry if this is a bit of a bump, and you might know this already but w/e. If you have Ninjhax you can install Braindump and dump your rom onto your SD Card on a 3ds up to v10.2 I believe. For Ninjhax you need cubic ninja, which can be bought for about $50. A more complicated alternative is the N3DS exploit for sm4sh, but it's only recommended if you have a lot of time on your hands and you know what you're doing. Once you edit your decrypted rom, you can rebuild it and run it with HANS. If you need help, you can PM me and I will try my best to help. But unless you get a Gateway(which idk if it works on v9.9) your best bet is Ninjhax. Good luck.
  11. @BlackShark: Great find!!! I knew that this text had to be somewhere in the rom and waited to be found... Since we now have the foreign dialogs I don't think that it will be a problem to translate the english script to include them. By the way did anyone know except from the script what other data should be injected in the sav file in order to make the event available? Also maybe we can take this further by investigate the possibility to edit the EON Ticket e-Reader sav file in order to create foreign language e-reader sav files or even to create e-card binary files for each one of the languages...
  12. Yeah, I just found it, too... too bad, it seems there is none for the Dolls. I looked for all strings starting with "Dad:" (or "BEBBBEF0" in hex...) But still very cool! We could use these scripts to make the Eon Ticket available for all Ruby & Sapphire versions. The same goes for the e-Card Berries! This is BIG! Edit: I just recognized that the Eon Ticket script is still incomplete, so we have to do a bit more research for this. We need to find a string, the text the dad says when the "Key Item" part of the bag is full. Which is unlikely to happen, but for making this script complete it's necessary tho'... I'm trying to find it, but it's a bit difficult... would be good if we find out what he said, it would make the whole search a lot easier... Also, we should look if we can find a pointer to the address with text strings of the Eon Ticket Event. I wished I had more time. There's a lot to do. I will let you guys know if I found something. Edit 2: I found this post by Team Fail, could be useful: http://www.pokecommunity.com/showpost.php?p=8782746&postcount=703 I didn't found a string like this in the ROM, but maybe I overlooked it, so I will check again. There should be a string like this, also for the S.S. Ticket. Maybe it's even one and the same, would make sense. I can't even find the script for the S.S. Ticket which is pretty weird! Edit 3: Well I think I found something that "goes to" the address with the Eon Ticket text! It's located at Offset 0x1DF855.
  13. So, I have some news! It seems there is some text for the Eon Ticket script in the ROM! I already searched for it a few weeks ago but couldn't find it. Well, the reason is maybe because it is different to the one which was officially released. And they used PASS instead of TICKET....... At offset 0x1C5049 in the English version of Ruby you can find this text. DAD: [NAME]! Good to see you! There’s a letter here for you, [NAME]. DAD: I guess this is a PASS for a ship. But I’ve never seen this ship before. You should find out what this is about in LILYCOVE. Right after this there's the text the sailor in Lilycove says if you have the Eon Ticket "The ferry to SLATEPORT is... Oh? That PASS..." Besides the Eon Ticket there's only the S.S. Ticket which you will get from Norman. But this text doesn't belong to that ticket. Here's a quote http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Norman#Littleroot_Town Also if you compare this text to the one from the Eon Ticket e-Card you should notice some similarities! DAD“[NAME]! Good to see you! There’s a letter here for you,[NAME]. DAD“It appears to be a ferry TICKET. but I’ve never seen one like it before. You should visit LILYCOVE and ask about it there. I am currently not sure if the script is also in the ROM though.
  14. I haven't made any back ups of saves before each shadow Pokemon I probably should have lol. To get the e-Reader to work you just to need turn it on and go to the menu and go to "connect to gamecube" and when talking to the person at the counter in the e-Reader room on the left, they will recognize your GBA connected with the e-Reader and save some data to the e-Reader, now your ready to scan the e-cards/raw files. Remember when trying this you need the e-Reader Plus Rom (J). Hope that sort of explains it for you.
  15. Seems I'm late, here's my spanish save: https://www.dropbox.com/s/hj5zgl11crzw0xu/01-GC6P-pokemon_colosseum_hoho.gci?dl=0 probably gamefaqs doesn't allow hotlinking. Since you said the game let's you save before battling the trainer with the shadow pokemon, would it be too much to ask for a save before each of this e-reader shadow pokemon battles? This way one can edit the save to change TID, SID, etc. so they are generated in-game under the desired trainer. I'd prefer that over editing the pokémon to change OT data. I may try the emulated gba connection, how does this exactly work? Does the e-reader even start in gba or you need to connect with SELECT+START? Where I'm trying to get is if we only need a savegame with the desired e-card read and the e-reader rom, it will probably work.
  16. This save is mine: http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/save/pokemon_colosseum_eu_a.gci 100% completed and legit, spanish language. You can't play story mode in any other language outside the one it was started on, but you can use colosseum save editor to change the save's language setting, which I guess would allow you to set colosseum to other languages. By the way, great research. Can you save between the card is read and the battle is started? Or can you repeat those battles without scanning the cards? I should try this with dolphin, the recent changes to GBA connectivity allow to receive jirachi and transfer pokemon, maybe it will work with e-reader too. ps: the other Eur save at gamefaqs is just a converted USA savegame, it won't correctly work with PAL colosseum.
  17. The thing is that the script is custom made by morfeo and in spanish and we rather want to stick to the original scripts and don't mix things up too much with customized hacks. So we have to think about every step very carefully. Also because we already had some technical issues with the size of the data. We had some issues with the PCNY Eggs, because we had to extend the script for them, because they had 2 Special Moves instead of just one. lostaddict managed to solve this but it showed how difficult and also dangerious it is and I don't want to be responsible for corrupt save data or overwritten flags or whatever could happen. But I already have some ideas how we could make it possible to make Pokémon and Egg Events with more than just 1 Special Move, so don't worry about that. I learned a lot of things from the data I dumped from the official distributions and I think I already know about how such issues could be prevented. I also thought about doing some translation work of my own. Especially since there are still missing Eon Ticket Scripts which we might never get. We also could translate the Japanese e-Card Regi Doll Script for Ruby & Sapphire into all languages. The same goes for the e-Card Berries. We will definitely think about this in the future and might extend this project to the Mystery Events, it already happened actually.
  18. The codes below will insert a special Trainer into your game against who you can battle in the house with the locked room at Mossdeep City (south-east of the Pokemon Center). All the codes are to be used on the Action Replay v3/4 English Ruby/Sapphire (any version, v1.0/v1.1/v1.2) These codes are also working on other European and American language versions (English/French/German/Italian/Spanish) but introduction as well as win and lose phrases might be grammaticaly incorrect for some Trainers in non-English games. Japanese Ruby/Sapphire Remove Trainer data Ruby/Sapphire (ENG) 2210F546 4E758A05 3A8313FA 554F4427 Ruby/Sapphire (JAP) A63C0E19 C80ADDD1 3A8313FA 554F4427 Master Codes I won't port any of the above codes to Emerald or FireRed/LeafGreen. They won't work properly since Trainer sprites have different indexes in Emerald and in EU/US versions the Trainer names also have the same restrictions as in Japanese versions (only 5 characters allowed). If you want to port these codes or make your own feel free to do so! 19. Not sure if this is the right place to post this. So most people know about the Japanese version of the E card Pokemon from Colosseum. What most people don't know is that there are English version of them, For the past few months I have been collecting the required tools and hardware to proceeded to see if these Pokemon could be obtain. Last night I was able to catch one of the extra shadow Pokemon Togepi in a English Copy of Pokemon Colosseum by modifying my save file. Here some Picture of me encountering the English Togpei; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfU0ZhMlEtVGlVZm8/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfRk1VMDREX3lKUEU/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfeEJMcWJheEk4dUk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfOHBLaDZZeDZrLUk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5Wbfd2hZSGs1dWNDZm8/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfNEtBSGFqWTVQM0k/view?usp=sharing The Requirement to catch one of these Extra Shadow Pokemon you must have; - Hex Editor (To modify your save file) - Modded Wii/GameCube - GameBoy Advance/GBA SP (Clones or Fakes wont work tested that myself) - Japanese E-Reader Plus - Link Cable to connect GBA to Wii/Gamecube - E Cards for Colosseum if you don't have these you can also print these if you have access to a good printer (E Cards )- Pokemon Colosseum USA Disc or Rom, Pal version does not work because there is know text in the E-Reader Room. - Pokemon Colosseum Japan Disc or Rom to enter the E-Reader Room Here is a Quick Tutorial On how to get the English E-Reader Pokemon. First thing before starting you'll need a complete Colosseum Save with all 48 Shadow Pokemon Purified. Step 1; Extract your save from your Memory card, you can use GCMM to do this. Step 2; Open up your save in your Hex editor and change the ''E'' in the first row to a ''J'' and save it. Now use GCMM to restore your save back to the memory card. Step 3; Now if you have a modded Wii which allows games to be played off a USB open up Japan version of Colosseum and head to Phenac City Colosseum. Go to the door on the left, there's a PC inside which you can used to save. Now extract you save and open it back up in Hex editor and change the "J" back to a "E" and then restore your save back to the Memory card. Step 4; Now that you are in the E-Reader room, connect your GBA with the Japanese E-Reader Plus inserted and talk the the person on the left which will save some data onto the E-Reader. Now you can enter the Battle Room. Step 5; Now this is the hard part if you don't have the E Cards, I payed about $600aud for a complete set. I have tried Printing these over and over again and they don't seem to scan at all, I even work at a place that does professional printing and no luck. If you are going to attempt printing these you will need a program that prints the e card files, just google search how to print E-Reader Cards and it should pop up. (E Cards )Step 6; Now all that's left is to scan the cards and battle each trainer until you reach each shadow Pokemon, Now you have yourself an Unreleased English E Reader Pokemon. Video of English Shadow Mareep; E Cards.zip
  20. So it has been a while, but I've got some great news about Pokemon Colosseum English E Room, i was able to catch the unreleased English e card Pokemon. At the moment i have got only togepi, but when i have got time ill get the other 2. Here Some Pictures https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfU0ZhMlEtVGlVZm8/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfRk1VMDREX3lKUEU/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfeEJMcWJheEk4dUk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfOHBLaDZZeDZrLUk/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5Wbfd2hZSGs1dWNDZm8/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Byle9GvE5WbfNEtBSGFqWTVQM0k/view?usp=sharing Update I have just created a new thread with details on how to get the events, Ill be posting on there from now on. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?47519-Colosseum-Unreleased-E-Reader-Pokemon
  21. Great news! Not only did my Japanese Emerald come in, so did my Card e-Reader+!

  23. I think now would be a good time to mention that in addition to custom Mystery Gifts, I can ALSO test custom Mystery Events via e-Reader. I've had a printer than can print dot codes since August. So far I'm limited to English e-Reader, but last week I won a Japanese Card e-Reader+ from an eBay seller in Japan so that should be here in a few weeks. I'd mention this in Team Fail's e-Reader thread, but it's dead at the moment. Speaking of e-Reader, since so many Japanese cards have been converted for use with English games (Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3) or just made from scratch (these custom dual-region Mod Cards for Mega Man Battle Network 4-6), I feel someone should convert the Eon Ticket card to Japanese. I know there are Takasan's tools, but still. EDIT: Yesterday I ordered a Japanese copy of Emerald from an eBay seller here in the US (that also put in a new battery as well!). I expect that'll be here at the end of the week so I'll be able to test custom Japanese Wonder Cards soon.
  24. That's because the for the script doesn't comes from the rom. It's downloaded from the distribution device/e-card and is saved temporarily on the save file. In europe the language had to be selected on the distribution device. You can see this on the pic from the Pokémon Day of 2004 in Germany which BlackShark posted earlier: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?46883-GEN-3-Mystery-Gift-Research&p=208586&viewfull=1#post208586 This must have been the case for all european distribution devices. The really BAD thing is that at the end of the "Receiving Script" (after the Eon Ticket is received and the script comes to an end) there is a killscript command (0x0D). So we would definitely need save files with still intact script, which means the Eon Ticket should be unclaimed.
  25. Bad news, everyone. Mystery Events are language locked. So there goes the whole "use the EON Ticket e-Card" idea.
