    It was confirmed last year that they they have you plug your cart into some machine, and an operator runs a program that supposedly catches hacks. What exactly they check for is unknown; my guess is that it's pretty minimal though, maybe even just pokemon with illegal stats/moves.

    In case you haven't noticed, all users can now attach pkms as well as various other file types to their posts. If you have a pkm file to share, I'd suggest creating a topic in the appropriate forum and attaching the files.

    Rules have been refined. Language restrictions were removed for now, a couple things were expanded upon to be more specific, and a signature rule was added in.

    Unless you can make a good case for them, no. My opinion is that they are just one of vB's (or any board's really) unnecessary features. If someone needs to talk to you, I don't see why PMing wouldn't be sufficient. Visitor messages are just another thing we have to moderate if we enable them.

    Are there certain flashcarts that will only take 256 kb saves? Otherwise it seems like just using 512kb would be easier than all this.

    Maybe you could explain or give a link detailing why Python is a good language to learn and what it is best used for? EDIT: Not so much for laziness purposes as it's just something that belongs in an entry level tutorial, IMO.

    Fixed something that had been annoying me regarding unread threads. It was automatically marking threads as read just because I'd been browsing the forums for so long; now unread threads are stored in a database and won't be marked read until you visit them. This had the minor drawback of setting all threads back to unread. You can use the "mark all forums read" link on the main forum menu to fix this.

    I actually meant to include something about that in my last post... I don't foresee what I would consider excessive swearing a problem. Casual swearing done to emphasize a point or express extreme emotion is OK as long as it's not being ridiculously overused. Anything directed at a person or group of persons probably won't be accepted as it will fall under the "considerate of other members" rule. Hope that is enough clarification.

    If you have a flashcart and wifi access I don't think getting the full PCD will be an issue. Let me be the first to say thanks for the offer. Hopefully this lotto thing isn't what fenzo thinks it is. =)
