With Project Pokemon, we want to build a more unified and comprehensive community, rather than limit our focus on just Pokesav. We're just getting used to the Vbulletin way of doing things. The old forums were just a slightly customized phpbb theme anyway - it took very little effort to make the customizations on my part (although we did have some excellent banner work by Greencat). The same goes for the main site. We have some really talented people on our administration team now, so this site will definitely be looking better (and have more content) than Pokesav.org soon.

You need a homebrew cart and wifi to send the save over. You can also do it with a slot-2 card and simply dump the save to an SD card, but that requires extra hardware.

Game Maker tends to teach you some pretty bad coding habits. Its interpreter should be more strict.

Why does hacking Pokemon have anything to do with getting in the tournament? Last year, they had a lottery from which thousands of applicants were randomly drawn. EDIT: Guess it's different this year? Oh well, then I'm probably not going.

If I can get in, I will probably go. But it's pretty much impossible to get in anyway.

Any major contributors (write up a few nice sized articles, etc.) will be considered for the content contributor rank.

Won't SSL make it pretty much impossible to reverse engineer? I didn't think Nintendo would implement something like SSL, especially after you consider their laughably weak protection on wonder cards.

This forum will look better than the old one soon enough. We will do extensive customization!

Hello, I'm coolbho3000, the original founder of Pokesav.org and an administrator here. I'll be maintaining the site here, writing new content, and improving Project Pokemon overall (I'll be watching for rule breakers, too). I also hope to be an aspiring developer.
