    RNGReporter does not support roaming pokemon. Use RNGReporter to get the PID, and then you can use this to get the IVs.

    @camus0314 - I hid your previous post. Roaming Pokemon have broken IVs. Last 3 stats are all 0's, and the first 3 stats are calculated by taking the RNG result from RNG Reporter and doing this: rng & 0xFF You must convert the result back into the stats.

    The only things that legality checker was not checking properly were gen 3 events. Some of them will be marked illegal because of the relationship between PID/IV/OTG. Unfortunately PKHex doesn't check the relationship properly either.

    If you are talking about 11.5, I would search around and find out. If you use CFW it is probably safe. If not, then I don't know.

    The current release of PKHex has bugs with the gen 3 event checks. If get the newest against master, it works.

    You cannot. You must have a 3DS from Japan region, not Americas.

    It is increasingly looking like WC247 was a test file.

    I am going to bet that if they are distributing WC247, there is a different prefix. That way people who got a broken one, can go back and get a new one. That means if anyone has a serial code that DOES NOT start with J7A6, please let us know. @argus1963 - Maybe you can go back and get more serial codes at another date and let us know.

    @Kirzi just redeemed her first 20th Mew (9:46am Japan Time on 07/12/2017) and it is WC238.

    Aura Mew doesn't show up properly. I'll submit an update for PKHex to detect it properly. If you hold CTRL and click the legality box, it should show BACD_R and that is legal for Aura/Hado Mew. Faraway Island Mew should be Method 1.

    The fact that the WCID is 247 is very telling. There are up to 9 WCs to look out for. Any guesses?

    Open the pokemon in pkhex after you load your save and pkhex will convert it to the later generation.

    @POKEEE, please use RngReporter to get valid PID/IV/Nature combinations.

    Do not use Pokegen because under certain conditions it will still generate an illegal PID.

    Yeah they used the wrong star. They used the hollow star, not the filled star. Not the first time they screwed something up. Per that article, the name will change based on the pokemon's language tag.

    FYI to everyone, almost all of the legal pokemon here are included in the Event Gallery on github. The download is outdated and shouldn't be used.

    Someone should update the tool. Or better yet, roll the features into PKHex.

    Those are good questions that @BLACKBIRD would be able to answer. @cc9, if you use CFW, we would love it if you could NTR Ram Dump the event for us.
