  1. They're naming the games after colors again? Cool. I bet the third game will be Grey (or is it Gray?) Version. ~STBE
  2. The first game I played was The Legend of Zelda: A Link To the Past for the SNES. It was my cousin's system till I bought it off him when he was going to sell it at a garage sale. My first family-owned game was Legend of Dragoon for the original PS. The first disc got scratched however so I was unable to finish it. It's a very underrated game and I hope they re-release it as a PS one Classic on the PSN. My first personally owned game was Pokémon Blue Version for the Game Boy. I was very disappointed when the world recieved LeafGreen instead of WaterBlue because of this. It still is my favorite Pokémon game. Nothing will be able to top it. ~STBE
  3. Armored Forme Mewtwo Mawile Evolution Pinsir Evolution Baby Kankaskhan Eeveelutions for all the remaining types That's honestly all I would like to see. ~STBE
  4. While I am a sucker for nostalgia, I prefer the new logos. The old ones were just boring, personally. The new ones are vivid (like word art), have the game's "symbol" (i.e. The "Lugia Soul") and they have color. Just have a simple black and white font was just pure laziness on Game Freak's part. I'm glad they stepped it up. ~STBE
  5. Personally, I'm torn. I believe shit happens and I believe shit happens for a reason. It honestly just depends on the situation. Just some examples: A Shiny Pokémon appeared!: Luck. A cancerous tumor disappears for unknown reasons: Miracle. A XBox 360 doesn't get the RROD since it's been bought 3 years ago: Neither, because you would be lying. So luck applies to everything that isn't life-threating, in my opinion. ~STBE
  6. Turning Mewtwo into a Shadow Pokémon would be pointless. He was made to be a killing machine to begin with. In fact, his Gold/HeartGold PokéDex entry even says it: "Because its battle abilities were raised to the ultimate level, it thinks only of defeating its foes." A Mewtwo in Battle-Armor Forme would be different considering it would raise his Def. and Sp. Def. by A LOT. Add Recover to his attcak list while trying to catch him would make it next to impossible to weaken his HP. Add in Safeguard and you can't put a Status Condition on him. Make a new Psychic "Elemental HyperBeam" and he could 2HKO or even 1HKO a Party member. And spice up his level. By the time I get to him in ANY of the games he is in, I already have a Lv. 100. Make him at least Lv. 80 or 85. I know that was a little off topic, but just an idea of what Mewtwo COULD be. ~STBE
  7. Well, if you take into consideration that the Burned and Tin Towers are "twins" and the fact that one is burnt to the ground, it sounds somewhat similar to the actual event of 9/11. Having the it called the "Tin Tower" sounds similar to the "Twin Towers" also makes it a bit disturbing. And like I said, it could be irrelevent; I was just stating the oddness of the similarity. By the way, you live in Canada. 9/11 was a BIG DEAL to us Americans. You can't say that it is over-sensitive. ~STBE P.S. I agree with the canon thing.
  8. After some researching, I learned that the Burned Tower was referenced as the Brass Tower in Crystal ONLY. It was not brought over to HG/SS. Back on the Bell Tower, I saw some things on why it was changed. The most logical thing I found was that "Tin Tower" DANGEROUSLY sounds like "Twin Towers"; however, this could easily be irrelevent because a trainer at (I believe) Lake Valor makes a reference to the "Tin Tower" in DPPt (released years after the horrific event). Thoughts? ~STBE
  9. Ah... Digimon. Good times. I still have the original Digivice toy. Sure, the battery's dead, but I could easily replace it and play as Agumon again. Personally, I liked Tai more than all the other characters; however, I think I've only seen the original series and season 2. I barely remember because it's been so long. I think I'm going to YouTube for awhile. lol ~STBE
  10. Makes sense. On the Burned Tower note, I thought it was always called that in-game. I have yet to talk to a trainer in GSC or HG/SS that has made a reference to it originally being called the Brass Tower. I always thought that was an anime adaption thing. ~STBE
  11. Umm... Can anyone explain at all why they changed the name of the Tin Tower to the Bell Tower? I know the bells are now important to the story, but still. That's like making the Indigo Plateau the Champion Plateau. Can anyone shed some light or give an opinion on my they would do this? ~STBE
  12. Yep. I did. All 151. Thanks to the Mew Glitch. ~STBE
  13. Personally, I like Hoenn better than Sinnoh. People complain about "Where's mah awesomez day and nights zystem" or "Why can't I goez back to Johtoz or Kantoz in this games?". Hey. We loved the Gen I games. It had none of those features. Why can't we love Gen III? At least it had a clock, unlike Gen I or it's remakes. I'm not saying it was better then Gen I by a long shot; however, Hoenn was my favorite region. Equally diversed land and sea, large open areas, etc. In terms of story... Well, it's not exactly good, but it's standable. It's will never amount to Gens I and II. It can hold it's own against Gen IV, however. It would be 10 times better than Gen IV if it had kept more Gen I or Gen II Pokémon. It did not, though. As such, it's only 2 times better than Gen IV. Gen IV kept a lot of Gen I and II Pokémon (and even added new evolutions for them). That's the only thing Gen IV had going for me, though. So, the order of the Gens is the order of the best Gens. Gen I is the best, Gen II is second, Gen III third, and Gen IV last. I hope Gen V can top the older Gens, but I don't think it will happen. Overall, Gen III was decent. Even without all of Gen II's features. ~STBE
  14. Arceus, Zubat, and Tentacool. Acreus, because he so overrated and took over Mew's position as the creator of all Pokémon. Zubat and Tentacool, because I can't walk in a cave or surf on water without running into one them every 5 seconds. ~STBE
  15. First off, wrong section. Second, they are (suppose) to be the best games in the series (at the moment, anyways). And third, like the remakes before them (FireRed and LeafGreen), there will most likely be no third game. ~STBE
  16. Klaatu, you left out Snorlax. Snorlax was important to the GSC storyline because he blocks the way to Pewter City, etc. ~STBE
  17. Can you even buy original DS pens anymore? ~STBE
  18. That's what I thought. I probably access a different server then you guys. I live in the US, though. I just use a Japanese account so I can get demos early and so I have the ability to change my Username ID. *sigh* The Japanese get all the cool shizz. ~STBE
  19. Totodile, because he's the starter I picked in my first playthrough of a Gen II game. My first Gen II game was Gold, so I'll make HeartGold my main game and play as a Male. I'll still play through SoulSilver as well, but as a Female. I'll still pick Totodile in SoulSilver. After reading through the posts, it's nice to know my starter (somehow) topped the charts in terms of the best Gen II starter. ~STBE
  20. This photo is made of win. So true it's not funny. ~STBE
  21. Mewtwo in Generation I was a pain in the ass if you didn't have the Master Ball. Back in Gen I, Balls could MISS the target. Not BREAK, just plain MISS. It took me over 13 resets and over 70 Ultra Balls. To top that, he had Recover and Ameshia. Since Sp. Atk and Sp. Def shared a single stat in Gen I (the SPECIAL stat), he could easily have 999 Special and wipe your team out and have unbreakable defenses. I had accidently used my Master Ball on a Fearow (I was 6 years old at the time and didn't know any better) and I sat there. Trying to catch that. Then I caught it. It was a pain, but everyone should have a good feeling knowing they caught a Gen I Mewtwo without a Master Ball. Ah... Good times... ~STBE
  22. Both. My main cart will be HG where I'll play as a Male and SS will be my secondary game where I'll play as a Female. ~STBE
