  1. I honestly don't care if they make new Pokémon at this point. Gen V is already overpowered as it is. I hate to see what Gen VI will look like. Besides, wasn't the motto "Gotta Catch 'Em All"? I think anything more would be ridiculous. Especially if over 3/4 is only obtainable through transfer. Not to mention if you can only transfer 6 a day. Pokémon is slowly becoming overpowered and tedious. ~STBE
  2. No. Sprite can mean fairy/pixie/etc. Well, it might not mean that, but they are all similar. ~STBE
  3. Also... Bagon -> Shelgon -> Salamence... Followed by the Beldum family. Thanks for helping me prove my point, Tbird. Back on topic, A Dark/Dragon sounds fantastic. Can't wait to see what it looks like. And the mono Flying-type Legendary sounds... Odd. How can it be Flying-typed and nothing else? Is it always airborne? And the Ice/Dragon... I've been wanting one of those for a long time. And something tells me it will be the third Version Mascot. Why? Fire, Electric, and Ice. It makes sense and they are all Dragons. ~STBE
  4. Because, the idea of a Legendary evolving is just ridiculous. It wouldn't exactly be "legendary" if it can breed and evolve. Now before you go on a rant about Manaphy and Phoine, I'll have you know Phoine doesn't evolve into Manaphy and Manaphy breeds a completely different species (Phoine). Also, we've disproven that the Drak Dragons are Legendary. Just stfu be quiet. ~STBE
  5. Come on! 110 views and only 6 voters?! Quit being shy, people! ~STBE
  6. 3DS? That wasn't much of a shocker for me. Besides the fact a DS successor was inevitable, with 3D movies plaguing the movie industry, I knew it was a matter of time that it would move to the gaming industry. And who would make such an innovative idea become reality? Nintendo, of course. The only, truly surprising thing I found about the 3DS was the "no glasses" aspect. Back on topic... Just stop arguing. While I suppose an evolving Legendary would be... Interesting... I just don't see such a thing happening. Besides, Serebii would have said if they were Legendaries. Just because the Dark Dragons were revealed next to the Legendaries does not mean that they are Legendaries. Based on their Pokédex number, it's pretty safe to say that it's final evolution is a Pseudo-Legendary and not an actual Legend. ~STBE
  7. Trust me. The Dark/Dragon Evolution Chain are not Legendaries. Pseudo-legend perhaps, but Legend? No. ~STBE
  8. 649 seems like a good number. Since the actual number is revealed, wouldn't it be wise to lock this topic? ~STBE
  9. Honestly, I didn't like Johto. Er... As a region anyways. I thought the idea of a direct sequel and a "surprise" final boss was cool (and same goes for being able to travel back to Kanto), but Johto was just too "old world" and... What's a good way to put it? Cramped? I swear I was turning claustrophobic. The maps were rather small and dull. There were optional paths in Johto... Too bad you needed a HM you didn't have yet, though. And by the time you have the HM you needed, you already have Fly, so... Eh. Sorta beats the purpose. True be told, the only reason I even play GSC or HG/SS anymore is just to go back to Kanto. Johto can suck it, I'm going back to Kanto. ~STBE
  10. Well, unlike a lot of Pokémon nerds, I'm a story junkie and like character development. While I like competitive battling (I'm even an Elite Four member in my school's Pokémon League), I enjoyed Hoenn's story and characters. Brendan (in his Emerald uniform) is my favorite playable character. Who else has an awesome hat that looks like white hair? I mean, compare him to Lucas. Lucas had a beret and a scarf. I totally didn't feel gay playing as him. /sarcasm And May. Her timidness and her slowly becoming more comfortable around Brendan is excellent character development (especially for a "kid's" game). The same applies to Wally. Need I mention you have to stop TWO villainous teams? Oh, and guess what! SPOILER ALERT: You don't stop them in time. While you do stop them eventually, you watch the world dry out and/or flood (depends on the game). And your character actually has a Dad this time. A Dad! Finally, a father that DOESN'T abandon his wife and kid/children (again, depends on game). Don't even get me started on the landscape and Secret Bases! And need I mention the introduction of Mudkip? Flygon? Salamence? Etc.? And Emerald expanded on all of this! The Sinnoh/Johto Battle Frontier is a JOKE compared to Hoenn's. The ability to get the entire Weather Trio was nice. Same with getting BOTH fossils (and a new tower and cave to obtain them in)! Although the Trainer Tower was a rather pointless addition, I warmly welcome any bonus content. And they replaced the "tall" font with the one from FireRed and LeafGreen (which is nice since the "tall" font was awkward). If you look at the series with the fun perspective instead of a competitive one, you will find that the Hoenn games (more specifically, Emerald Version) are magnificent! ~STBE
  11. Honestly, Yellow comes in a close second place for me. lol Emerald may be amazing, but the nostalgia from Yellow is unmatched. Also, it seems you didn't vote? Yellow is still at 0%. ~STBE
  12. What's your favorite main series Pokémon game? Personally mine's Emerald. I know I'll get bashed for it, but Hoenn was amazing (and Emerald made it more amazing). Now, I know you're wondering "Why are Gold and Silver separate?" or "What's the difference between Pocket Monsters Red Version (Japan Only) and Pokémon Red Version?". While the differences may be subtle, graphics and Version exclusives could determine which game is the best. So there is no confusion, I'll add a list of some of these differences in a spoiler tag. Also, with Black and White Versions coming out soon, I will add them to the poll. Please make a post asking to change your vote in the case Black or White takes the place of your current favorite main series game. Well, what do you think the best main series game is? ~STBE
  13. It goes from an Otter to a mustachioed Unicorn. That's the most unrealistic evolution ever. ~STBE
  14. Everyone should take note of the question marks in that picture. ~STBE
  15. BOWSER EX, the final evolutions still have not been truly confirmed. Serebii's source said that they were real, not Pokémon Sunday, Game Freak, or another official Pokémon source. It would be best not to get too excited over them just yet. ~STBE
  16. Both. My "main" Version will most likely be White (because I like Zekrom more than Reshiram), with Black being my "secondary" Version. I'll have to see all the version differences first before I truly decide. ~STBE By the way, I chose Black on accident. Can someone change my vote to White? Many thanks to whoever does so.
  17. Why port the Stadiums? I say make a Pokémon Stadium 3 (Stadium 4 in Japan) on either WiiWare or disc. Make it compatible with all Gen V and/or Gen IV titles. Problem solved. ~STBE
  18. Most likely Tsutaja. Something about his smug expression and his cool design just calls to me. I also hope his Final Evolution is Grass/Dragon, but I know it most likely will not happen. [/disappointment] My second choice would be the Fire Pig. Nickname it Ganon, anyone? lol It's looks so hyperactive and awesome. A.D.H.D. Pokémon, ftw. And then there's the Otter... *Insert oil spill joke here*. Unless that... Thing... Evolves into something amazing, it will be my least favorite Starter out of all the Generations. I'm not denying it's cute face, though. I just majorly dislike it's body design. Of course, I'm going to wait to see their Final Evolutions before I actually choose, but at the moment, Tsutaja wins for me. ~STBE
  19. <--- My avatar = Grass/Dragon. And an Ice/Dragon would be nice. Hell, throw in a Dragon Eeveelution and I'll be a happy Pokémon nerd. :B ~STBE
  20. A lot. lol At least 100. Most likely in the 130 or so range. Save for the Starters (Tsutaja, ftw) and the Legendaries (EXCLUDING Victini), I'm not to happy with the Pokémon so far. Gen V has, like, what? Seven useless birds now? The only ones I like out of the normal bunch is the Tusk Dragon, Emonga, Zorua, Zoroark, and the Chinchilla. ~STBE
  21. Pokémon TCG was one of my favorite games on the Game Boy Color. It's well worth playing through. And there was a Special Edition of FR/LG that came with cards? I assume that must have been in another region besides the US since the only special thing I got was the Wireless Adapters and the Pocket Trainer's Guide pre-order gift. ~STBE
  22. Yeah, but I felt like raping everything at the end of the game. lol ~STBE
