  1. hahahha "SHAKE OFF THE PARALYSIS GLISCOR" That's something ash would say. Whose paul? is that the new gary lol
  2. - Tsukasaa, surprisingly earthquake does nothing to Celebi (A double DD Tyranitar only did 21%!) but if he's gone I see your point. I'm probably going to remove scizor for a flying pokemon. - Crinsom Assassin I am very familiar with those two pokemon, (I've ran DDmence, SpecsMence, Mixmence, Classicmixmence, Leadddmence, DDgya, BounceDDgya,CB Gya, Lead Gya) So I know just how effective those two pokemon are. I'll try your salamence set and also a gyarados in exchange for scizor. But I'm keeping celebi, he's meant to be paired with empoleon. Uxie seems good, but he doesn't cover empoleons electric weakness, and he won't be able to put up an offensive threat like Celebi does, uxie blocks empoleons counters but celebi can also Ko them. I also realized I had swarm on my scizor, but with my aparent eq weaknesses I'm still switching it. thanks for the advice I'm take everything into consideration.
  3. STILL EDITING UPDATED This team is like a sandstall now... kinda. It's a standard team and defensively orientated. As every pokemon here has at least a 100 base defense or Sp.Defense stat if not having both and they compliment each others weaknesses. This way it's easier to switch, and it really is. Roserade (F) @ Focus Sash Role: Lead Spiker Ability: Natural Cure Evs: 4 HP/252 SpA/252 Spe Timid nature - Sleep Powder - Toxic Spikes - Leaf Storm - Hidden Power Fire Info: Blissey has been a hinderance for my empoleon for a long time. But if Blisseys poisoned Empoleons chances are better. My only worry this pokemon closely resembles my Celebi. --- Rotom-S @ Leftovers Role: Spin Blocker Evs: 252 HP/168 Def/88 Spe Bold Nature - Discharge - Shadowball - Air Slash - Reflect Info: My Spin Blocker, I know that Rotom-S is outclassed by his fellow counterparts but I needed a check for Machamp who has been giving my team problems. Reflect could give my Empoleon a chance to begin setting up. I also brought him in because of my apparent weakness to ground type. --- Empoleon (M) @ Petaya Berry Role: Special Sweeper Ability: Torrent EVs: 8 HP/14 Def/236 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility - Substitute - Surf - Ice Beam Info: My favorite sweeper, most of my standard teams revolve around him. The strategy is pretty much known, so he's no longer underestimated like before. He's still great though. --- Gliscor (M) @ Leftovers Role: Empoleon Guardian, Physical Wall Ability: Sand Veil EVs: 252 HP/40 Def/216 Spe Jolly nature -Earthquake -Roost -Stealth Rock -Taunt Info: It used to be celebi, but he does the same job, gets complimented by sand stream and breaks stall teams, which I was weak too. --- Tyranitar (M) @ Leftovers Role: Special Defensive Tank Ability: Sand Stream EVs: 252 HP/40 Def/216 SDef Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk) - Curse - Payback - Rest - Sleep Talk Info: It's funny how the little fairy is the physical wall and the imposing dinosaur is the special wall This slot was originally my white herb dragonite, then I realized most of my pokemon are steel, so they'd do fine in sandstorm. He's basically my weather negater, the sandstorm is just a decent plus for me as none of my strategies revolve around it. I use Cursetar, he's a special defensive beast, even a gengar focus blast didn't kill him when he was at full health. --- Heatran (M) @ Choice Scarf Role: Fire Sponge/Sweeper/Revenge Killer Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Earth Power - Explosion - Flamethrower - Dragon Pulse Info: Well I have a ton of steel pokemon plus a celebi so I needed something to prevent death. Heatran is glue of my team, covering my blatant fire weaknessnes. But he's proven to be more than that, aside from being a focal point of my defense he's also become a reliable sweeper, getting fired up constantly makes him more powerful. He's also my mandatory revenge killer. Also how do my post cool pictures of my pokemon?? xDD OLD POKEMON Metagross @ Occa Berry Role: Suicide Lead Ability: Clear Body EVs: 246 HP/252 Atk/12 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Bullet Punch - Explosion - Stealth Rock - Earthquake/meteor mash Info: Standard Metagross lead, to this day I can't decide if I should use MM or EQ, what do you think? With earthquake I make it's speed EVs 16 to outspeed opponents who made their lead metagrosses speed EVs 12 to outspeed 8 speed EVs lead metagrosses! Which is surprisingly a pretty common situation. Scizor (M) @ Choice Band Role: Physical Sweeper/Bait Ability: Swarm EVs: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - U-turn - Bullet Punch - Pursuit - Superpower Info: Standard CB Scizor, it pursuits and BPs. It's also flamethower bait for my heatran. although it's considered "beastly" it's not doing that great for me, it's my least effective pokemon on my squad. Any suggestions? Dragonite (M) @ White Herb Role: Mixed Attacker EVs: 168 Atk/100 Spe/240 SpA Naughty nature - Superpower - Fire Blast - Draco Meteor - Extremespeed Celebi @ Leftovers Role: Defensive Wall Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 HP/220 Def/36 Spd/2 SAtk Bold nature (+Def, -Atk) - Grass Knot - Recover - Stealth Rock - Hidden Power [Fire] Info: My defensive wall, this bad boy works wonders for me. It's basically Empoleons Guardian, defending it and making sure it's counters are dealt with so it can begin sweeping.
  4. You'll need a lead, I suggest making your swampert your lead and replacing Protect with stealth rock. - Give Lucario Ice Punch or Crunch instead of aura sphere, without this many pokemon resist him and aura sphere isn't upgraded by sword dance. - Infernape is superior to blaziken, but blaziken still alright. - As Bob said Agigross is better than Rock polish Rhypherior, I would try SubRhy - Like bob I suggest putting Air Slash on Togekiss, it has the same flinch hack effect without a setup up turn. - Torterra is UU thus not being that effective on OU I pretty much said what Bob said, a second opinion is never a bad thing though.
  5. Great team. Scizor will be a problem, pursuiting celebi and bullet punching your Weaville, but you have counters for it. Scarf Heatran will be a problem if your Rotom isn't switched in. Lead Infernape will almost beat your azelf everytime and will do a chunk of damage to the rest of your pokemon besides your CS Rotom Not much weaknesses... Yea I'm tired and I can't really think of anything from the top of my head. This team could do really well imo.
  6. lol ugh.. This forum needs to be changed to "Rate my Team" not make my team. I'm taking a while guess and thinking your A-Team to for elite four or something. So heres a quick do up. Torterra - Adamant Earthquake Wood Hammer Stealth Rock Stone Edge Empoleon - Modest Surf Flash Cannon Ice Beam Grass Knot Infernape - Naughty Fire Blast Close Combat U-Turn Grass Knot Snorlax - Careful Body Slam Rest Sleep Talk Earthquake Lucario - Naughty or Rash Aura Sphere Close Combat Extreme Speed Shadow Ball Info: Against the Pokemon Lead , it has great coverage.
  7. nice suggestion. Yea a entry hazard clause wouldn't be bad. It ruins stall teams though. And makes the metagame purely face paced sweepage. Personally I'd like it if nintendo put more ways of countering it other than rapid spin.
  8. err rampados isn't a good pokemon, he's a glass cannon whose also slow, but just fast enough that trick room might screw him over. With choice scarf he's still too slow. Your team would be good against friends. Competitively it needs work. Could you also list you items on each pokemon?
  9. dude you should come up with your own team. Theres no "one" team that beats all. It all depends, it mainly requires four things... how good your team built is, luck, the kinda of team your opponent has and prediction skills. Furthermore, theres different sections. UU=Underused, not that good, they aren't used often. OU=Overused pokemon, these pokemon are really good and used often, they are better than UU pokemon. Uber=Pokemon too powerful to compete in OU, mainly legendaries, but theres exceptions. I'll split the pokemon you listed in their respected catagories. UU - Slaking, Vespiqueen, Magmortar, Drapion OU - Blissey, Gengar, Scizor, Dragonite, Salamence, Tyranitar, Weaville, Togekiss, Metagross, Electrive, Flygon and Skarmory. Ubers - The legendaries you listed, garchomp and wobbuffet. I'm taking a guess that your simply facing a freind so you don't the greatest possible team. If you want further advice, download shoddy battle and register to project pokemon, and ask for advice of anyone there. Or check the other post ppl made here.
  10. it really depends on the rest of your team. But I'd say salamence is better overall. following shoguns advice I'd switch dragon with outrage and stone edge with fire blast
  11. dam.. I've never caught a shiny pokemon. But I saw a lvl 100 dusclop shiny in battle tower It was a trainers so I couldn't catch it
  12. Yea put info so we know what your trying to do. Aerodactyl - Give it focus sash weaville - standard steelix - good moveset but this pokemon is outclassed by better defensive walls such as skarmory. Try it instead, because as a physical it has two big physical attacking types ground (X4) and fighting (X2) Skarmory has no physical weakness. gengar - good, life orb or expert belt would be a better hold item though. dusknoir - good snorlax - leftovers would be a good item. Return to ultize stab
  13. Good looking team. Standard Metagross Lead - Looks good, adding earthquake is a possible choice over meteor mash removing the redundant steel attacks. Though bullet punch and metoer smash is just as viable as earthquake and bullet punch. If you are going to give it earthquake, give it 8-12 speed evs to outspeed and beat other metagross (Which are very common) After killing something, u-turn? I'm don't I fully understand this statement. You can't use two attacks with choice items, I'm probably misreading this though. Overall this seems like it could be a really good team. It's lacking a wallbreaking which in my opinion is useful for well... wallbreaking. Both Salamence and infernape are both really capable wallbreakers you should look into it. Good luck!
  14. Alright I'll give this a competitive rating (plater vs player) your team is Half UU half OU underused/overused, the latter is better. Blaziken UU - Although you have said you want this to be your lead, it is very true infernape outclasses it's starting counterpart. But you want to keep it so ok. Although the set you currently is good (shadow claw isn't necesary though, replace it with stone edge), it doesn't use it's powerful special attack. Which allows it to become an valuable mixed sweeper/wall breaker. Either way if you don't equip it with focus sash, I wouldn't use it as a lead. Your roserade/metagross would make better leads. Gardevoir UU - good set, might wanna add wish or will-o-wisp in the mix Salamence OU - good set, fly is needed I guess for flying. Great set besides the fly. Roserade OU - Recently upgraded to OU, because of it makes a great lead. Here's it's moveset, it's standard. Roserade@Focus Sash Role: Lead Sleeper Evs: 4 HP, 252 SpA, 252 Spe - Sleep Powder - Toxic Spikes - Leaf Storm/Grass Knot - Hidden Power Fire Info: Once again standard stuff, usually sleep first turn, and then toxic spikes. The two attacks if you can take the opposition out. Milotic UU - A good "UU" water pokemon, though theres OU pokemon that do it's job better (Vapoureon) It's a good set, you could try opting hypnosis or screen support. I would also opt more defensive EVs. Metagross OU - good agility set. Hope this helps and good luck!
  15. Goldtrainer do you want that team to be rated and commented competively or something? post that in the main RMT forums if that's the case
  16. Tyranitar with 252 hp, 252 special def plus sandstorm bonus I'm guessing... I ran that tyranitar it's awesome
  17. ahh I remember this team, great team
  18. someone lower than scizor? gyarados? empoleon? breloom? OOH machamp right? or maybe ninjask.. smeargle? ohhhh it's tentacruel! tentacruel or machamp those are my guesses, for OU at least
  19. Lauren Hill - Your just too good to be true
