  1. BAH easy it's regice, it's a oxymoron of it's. An ice tank Seriously Rayquaza is my uber Jirachi is my fav Ou I voted regice
  2. Oh yes we have a different tier system than smogon. I need to check that out. Nice battle, though your opponent is a noob
  3. I think your 6th should be smeargle Toxic Spikes yes can ruin your day, but the biggest harm is a phaze. Moves like whirlwind and Roar will ruin the point of your team. Smeargle, the only pokemon that can baton pass ingrain, a move which works as another leftover... and fully protects you from these moves. But it can learn rapid spin and defog for toxic spikes anyways. Great people are posting here more The Eevee Evolution Pokemon Jolteon - A great pokemon, it is extremely fast, and hits hard as well, relatively fragile though. it passes speed with agility. And the beauty about this is the three main phazers Skarmory, Suicune and Vapoureon, take deadly damage from this pokemon. So in the hands of the right trainer, it can be a offensively threatening ninjask. Of course it has electric absorb Vapoureon - Simply one of the best wishpasses, and one of the best eevee evolutions. this special tank is the answer to bulky waters with hidden power electric. Sporting water absorb, it's very sturdy. And can baton pass Acid Armour, highly raising defence. Espeon - At first looks like a weak alakazam, but it runs baton pass. The only eevee of it's kind to raise stuff in the other spectrum with calm mind Umbreon - Great pokemon, though limited on what it can pass, Curse? Lowers speed, and substitute which is never bad. It can work as a mean look trapper, so another eevee can set up Glaceon - It's only moves to baton pass are curse and substitute and Umbreon does both better, it does however have immense special attack that is just frightening to think of. Leafeon - Ok, this isn't the best one of there, but it does have synergy with them, it's flareon bait, and resist electric attacks (Jolteon is better for that though..) Plus it's the only one that can pass sword dance Flareon - Ahh curse again, suggest you don't use this Possible Movesets Jolteon @ Petaya Berry Substitute Agility Thunderbolt Baton Pass Vapoureon - Leftovers Acid Armour Baton Pass Surf Roar Espeon - Berry to raise special def?/Leftovers Calm Mind Substitute Psychic Baton Pass Umbreon - Leftovers Curse Moonlight Payback Baton Pass Glaceon - Leftovers Curse Icebeam Baton Pass Wish Leafeon - Leftovers Leaf Blade Sword Dance Roar/Grasswhistle? Baton Pass Flareon - Leftovers Fire Fang/Lava Plume Substitute/Curse Yawn Baton Pass
  4. Yea.. those are some super powered pokemon. And they cover each others weakess well
  5. Luxray - There are better pokemon out there Walrein - Unless you have a fully set hail team, he can be pretty useless Flygon - Now this is a great pokemo, although he is pretty outclass by garchomp, use him if it's allowed, if not. Flygon is a great choice. I've never really rated teams of 3 but I think I get the idea Pokemon that compliments each other is impotant. If you run flygon/garchomp You need someone to resist ice and dragon attacks. Good offensive options are Scizor, Empoleon, Metagross and Heatran. Flygon@Choice Scarf/Choice Band EV: 252 Atk, 252 Spe Dragon Claw/Outrage Earthquake U-Turn Fire Punch/Stone Edge Info: Flygon is great but is outclassed by garchomp (Garchomp is banned from standard play though) It's only advantage over garchomp is that it knows u-turn, which whichs it great at scouting Scizor@Life Orb Evs: 252 Atk 252 hp Sword Dance Bullet Punch Superpower U-turn/Pursuit Hyper Offensive pokemon, it's great but it might not take dragon, ice attacks as desired. One Sword dance and bullet punch is wreak havoc Empoleon@Petaya Berry Evs: 12 HP, 12 Def, 232 Spe, 252 Satk Agility Substitute Surf Grass Knot/IceBeam Info: A personal favorite pokemon of mine, it can problem take dragons attacks better and ice attacks will never b e a problem. Bring it into one of it's 12 resistences and agility, and keep subbing till you reach 25% or lower. There the ability torrent and the berry petaya will overall make surf 100% stronger. Also the ground dragons flygon and garchomp compliment this pokemon perfectly. Problem is it's walled by blissey and ha many common weaknessnes I'll do more later
  6. Ok.. Great update on your team! But now your missing something extremely vital to any stall team. A Ghost Pokemon... If you get rapid spinned your hail stall is completely ruined. Here are some good options Froslass - Like before always a good option, Useful moves... Substitute, T-wave, Shadow Ball, Blizzard, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Thundebolt Rotom - Any rotom applaince depending on your team can greatly assist you. Rotom-F can provide yet another blizzard of you can never get enough. Rotom-W with hydro-pump can rid you can fire and rock pokemon, Rotom-H can overeat ridding you of major threats like Scizor and Lucario, Rotom-S is te likes of Heracross, Machamp, and breloom (And also an excellent hitmotop counter which don't come often but they do come) Spiritomb - It's major advantage over other bulky ghost pokemon is that it has no weakness!!! Dusknoir - Very Sturdy
  7. Swampert (Mixed Tank) - The reason why it's good on hail teams because it resists fire, rock and steel. Weaknesses of ice pokmeon. It's also very good at setting up Stealth Rock Tentacruel (Spiker Special Wall) - A special wall, and a pokemon anyone should consider when making a stall team. Toxic Spikes is a must in hail stall and he's one of the most reliable toxic spikers out there. It can also rapid Spin Froslass (Rapid Spin Blocker) - Forgot about this little timbit, with hail and brightpowder your oppenent will miss 1 out of 5 times. You Can abuse this with it's speed and Substitute, Keep subbing till you have a miss. Then Enjoy your free move. You wanted to know the roles Abomasnow - Hail Setup Glaceon - Special Sweeper or Special Tank Mamoswine - Physical Sweeper Weaville - Revenge Killer, Physical Sweeper Walrein - Staller Ok this is to showcase why walrein is so useful, I came up agaisnt a hail stall, (though I won) it shows how great walrein can stall MMONTERO switched in Walrein (lvl 100 Walrein ?). 8. Ok... Hail Team, they can be very effective, you have some of the right pokemon, need to put on the right items and moves. You said your new to this so I'll help what I can The best hail team is stall hail team. Abomasnow Always required to snow teams yes, don't make it a sleep talker, if you have leech seed, might as well give it substitute to make it a subseeder. And equiping it with blizzard is a must. Giga drain is alright, protect or focus punch would be more viable, subseed hail gradual damage Glaceon Personally I see glaceon as limited, and woudn't recomend using it. But if you insist theres better movesets, I like your creatity with the set but that will be too unrealiable, and double team is banned from competitive play, unless your just playing with your freinds. I would play on it's other strengths Glaceon can attract defensive walls quickly with it's massive special attack, fake tears can break walls with the most ease, ruining pokemon like blissey's fun. Wish is a solid choice is you want fake tears, hidden power would improve your coverage Or you can run a specs set Hidden Power Fighting, Shadow ball, Blizzard Personally I would replace this with tentacruel equiped with toxic spikes Mamoswine Your set looks pretty good, though ice shard or blizzard instead of avalance is the superior choice, as it is a priority attack that can rid you of a salamence, garchomp, dragonite, flygon, and altaria (if you ever see one) without any worries. And Blizzard never misses and does 120 damage going first or last Hail? Double Team? It's an offensive pokemon so give it another attack, stone edge? Froslass Sorry to say but your froslass won't help you much with that moveset, it has a huge helpful move pool, why don't you use it? Bright Powder can work for frolass, as a possible evasion can greatly help this fragile pokemon The toxic is a great choice though, in a stall, Blizzard always, destiny bond, might rid you a pokmeon your struggling with Toxic Spikes is better if you decide you don't want tentacruel, Spikes is viable though, or thunder-wave, that gets rid of glaceon and mamoswines speed problem. The main role of froslass is a rapid spin blocker, don't forget. Walrein Ahh the stable of Hail Stall Teams, though the moveset you listed isn't bad, it isn't what makes walrein so useful in a hail stall team Use this moveset - Protect - Substitute - Toxic - Surf/Blizzard With the combination of protect, sub and ice body, this enables you to sub a load of times, toxic spikes can poison them without worry unless they are flying or leviating, toxic solves this Weaville Great pokemon, your not using what makes it so great. Pursuit, this makes it a deadly revenge killer, ice shard as I explained already, Brick Break yep, night slash/ice punch to end it like wraith said, not everything has to be a ice pokemon, blissey, swampert, bulky ghost pokemon, tentacruel***, starmie, bronzong, vapoureon, dugtrio, theres many pick a choose which fits Hope this helps and good luck
  9. Clefable in my eyes has always been an awesome pokemon, but not OU capable. Maybe now I could use it. Hey it's UU I think gravity might be more successful in UU. I'll see where I can put clefable, probably over starmie (shaymin is out) I considered Dusknoir a spot on my team but as you said it's no offensive threat, and even though I can run a defensive gravity team it makes gravity too short, I find offensive gravity to be better Although it's still in consideration due to my fighting weakness I'll see where mamoswine or metagross might fit in my team Now that I have a team up, I have to work on the synergy, what pokemon works well with others I revise my post in a bit
  10. Starmie is hopefully my check to infernape. Dugtrio can trap and earthquake for a quick ko (unless sashed) I came across the move gravity in wiki a long time ago. But I was not able to make a legit team till recent, when I saw someone else with one. POSSIBLE CHANGES Starmie might get replaced with... Swampert - Leftovers Blizzard Hydro Pump Earthquake Roar Info: A better check to infernape imo, unless it weilds grass knot. It's also a much needed phazer Might replace dugtrio with... Skarmory - Leftovers brave bird Roost Spikes Whirlwind So my teams more defensive, this is a double edge sword because skarmory becomes weak to earthquake because of gravity. But wtih gravity spikes-whirlwind will hit everyone Shaymin to be replaced with heatran Heatran - scarf Earth Power Magma Storm Dragon Pulse Explosion Info: a faster more powerful special earthquaker, and with gravity I can use magma storm, does as much as damage as fire blast, traps the oppenent and does gradual sandstorm like damage.
  11. A move I think would be standard as rain dance if it had an item to lengthen it's duration. I posting this team if anyone has knowledge on gravity and can help with this team and to show that gravity is a great move WHAT GRAVITY DOES: The two most alarming features of gravity are... 1. All pokemon who are a flying type or have levitate are hit by earthquake and are effected by toxic spikes and spikes 2. Attacks accuracy are increased by 1.67 (so a 55 accuracy move like grass whistle or sing have 92% accuracy Jirachi @ Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd Lax nature (+Def, -SDef) - Stealth Rock - Gravity - Thunder - U-turn Info: Lead Jirachi, great versatility, and the best lead gravityr imo (not a lot of pokemon know gravity) Stealth rock first team if I'm able, gravity next then U-turn to go to my next pokemon. Thunder for it always hits with a 60% para --- Skarmory - Brave Bird - Spikes - Whirlwind - Roost Info: Standard Skarmory to finish off a skarmbliss combo, standard stuff here, but it's worth noting all oppenents pokemon are effected by spikes with gravity on --- Clefable @ Leftovers Ability Evs: Help? 252 HP, 252 Def, 4 SAtk Gravity Blizzard Calm Mind Thunder Info: Any suggestions for a set will be appreaciated, for now I'm running a calm mind supercharge boltbeam combo with gravity on the side. Maybe sing instead of calm mind --- Heracross (M) @ Choice Scarf Ability: Guts EVs: 252 Atk/252 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Megahorn - Close Combat - Stone Edge - Earthquake Info: Finally I get to ultize my favorite pokemon. He resist earthquake, Megahorm becomes the most common attack I will use because of gravity raises it's accuracy, the same deal with Stone Edge, Close Combat to finish off it's legengary twin 120 attacks. Earthquake instead of night slash because of gravity --- Blissey (F) @ Leftovers Ability: Serene Grace EVs: 80 Def/252 SAtk/176 SDef Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Gravity - Softboiled - Sing - Fire Blast Info: My second gravity user, with this toy it's too easy to get off gravity. Bring it to someone it walls (a special attacker) Then gravity up. Softboiled is the mandatory heal, sing for that 92% sleeper, fireblast is for that 60% burn on incoming physical attackers --- Heatran @ Choice Scarf Evs: 252 Satk 252 Spe Ability: Flash fire Role: Revenge Killer Modest Nature - Magma Storm - Earth Power - Dragon Pulse - Explosion Shaymin wasn't fast or strong enough, so heatran is my solotion! It fires off stronger earth powers than shaymin. And I can use it's signature move Magma Storm. Dragon Pulse is a good check agaisnt dragons and explosion to end off with a bang. Pretty standard bar the magma storm OLD POKEMON Shaymin @ Leftovers Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Earth Power - Seed Flare - Grasswhistle - Aromatherapy Info: If only I could use sky-form... Anyhow this is my special earthquaker (who resist Eq). It can OHKO a skarmory with Earth Power (Of course with gravity on) Seed Flare for the powerful perfect accuracy stab attack. Grasswhistle is the 92% sleeper, Aromatheapy for statuses (Because Blissey can't have aromatherapy and gravity on the same set, egg moves) Starmie @ Life Orb Ability: Natural Cure EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Blizzard - Thunder - Hydro Pump - Recover Info: With gravity all attacks gain 100% accuracy. You know where I'm going with this Dugtrio --- I'm also thinking of adding skarmory to finish off the skarmbliss combo and do a gravity spike combo. But who to replace (Not heracross he's a penament member) Suggestions appreaciated
  12. ho oh lead would destroy, it doesn't have to worry about Sr
  13. Try adding Info of your set so we can see where your going with it DD Feraligatr sub could work like Gyrados Sub-Bounce, just give it Leichi Berry Ok Gardevoir lead. there are better leads out there If you want a tank lead try Bronzong it fires off explosion, hynosis and reflect or light screen if you want. My gardevoir moveset would look like... if I want an attacking set Psychic Thunderbolt Will0owisp Focus Blast Umbreon, I don't understand it's moveset fully, could you explain? Baton Pass for scouting? Celibi can do it better, use umbereon for what it's good for give it a mean look set Suicune Seems good besides the substitute, what good will that do? Give it rest or roar Magmortar looks great
  14. Fire emblem is my favorite series after pokemon. I played 6, 7, 8, path of radiance, radiant dawn and the shadow dragon remake. Don't know which is my favorite, I liked all of them
  15. Great team!! And good indepth RMT. You have no alarming weaknesses, and whatever weakness you do have is resisted by the other pokemon DD Salamence looks like the biggest problem for you, a Scarf Latias could prevent it but it restricts it's usefulness. (CM is better imo)
  16. well it's not a matter if I can "handle" it, I just get this rather weird feeling you don't like me much btw we never finished are battles, last time I would have won (Even though I see you as the better pokemon player) I don't leave my matches until they are done (also sorry for getting off-topic)
  17. Thanks for the info My infernape has fake out instead of u-turn, (it was always fake out but now I know not to change it) My gyarados EVs are now 252 Attack 252 Spe, also I changed the set to sub bounce, I'll edit on the main page I removed my Latias with Flygon, mainly because my team will become extremely weak when thunder waved (Which has cost me the game) Made my gengar a subber with petaya berry, should I give it focus Blast or focus punch? Ok I will change it to proper RMT format
  18. well dude thanks for the constructive critism. Next time just time me it's unoriginal, instead of flaming me that it's unoriginal.
  19. thanks for the advice, I've battle with this team around 50 times, I usually win, gengar is my tyranitar counter as it is an automatic tyranitar lure and OHKOs it with focus blast (Though accuracy is pretty bad it only put me in a pickle once or twice) Your absolutely right about Latias and thunderbolt, I changed her moveset to Draco Meteor, Thunderbolt, Surf, Recover a while ago, but good pointer. I'll put down the threat list later in due time
  20. I would easily chooose option one, just like bob said... he brought a good point, no need to elaborate.
  21. Sucker punch Absol, that's pretty smart alright. Theres better pokemon though. Btw, just to say, an Infernape will seriously ruin your team, it's faster than every pokemon on your squad and can score a hard super effective on all of them except that Manetric (Unless it has Eq) Same Ordeal with Blazinkin besides the speed So to summarize your really weak to fire and fighting attacks.
  22. When looking through your team I was about to say you have a big infernape problem but every1 here has already mentioned it. It is very smart that you have heatran, but if it's gone your entire team will fall prey to a fire attack I would question a lead exeggutor but by your description it seems to work for you. Vaporeon with ice beam (Most vaporeon carry icebeam) would really hurt you. But that's where cresellia comes in right? Watch out for a pursuiter, that will end your fun. Another threat not mentioned is gengar, be wary of one having hidden power fire (mine does), shadowball and thunderbolt will hurt your togekiss and cres.
  23. looks awesome, I haven't even played platium yet, but I think I'll just play this platium version instead
  24. I've been looking for a community built server on shoddy and project pokemon was the one, now that I familized myself with the people in shoddy I'll try to get to know the ppl around the site too. I'm memjee I'm from toronto. Just graduated from high school, but I'm going back for a victory lap because I love school (Not the subjects) and all my freinds failed. yea that's pretty much it... great site
