  1. Heyy sup nice to meet you see you soon
  2. Heres my sapphire team! That always owns all my freinds and the team I made before checking out shoddy and smogon... I spent 300 hours on this game save I've beaten the elite four over a hundred times The pokemon are named after Fire emblem spells lol Balberrith Lvl 100 Swampert@Leftovers Surf Earthquake Ice Beam Roar Nosferatu Lvl 96 Gengar@Leftovers Shadow Ball Thunderbolt Willowisp Explosion Thani Lvl 89 Snorlax@Leftovers Body Slam Curse Rest Sleep Talk Gae Bolg Lvl 88 Tyranitar@Choice Band Crunch Earthquake Rock Slide Thunderbolt Excalibur Lvl 87 Skarmory@Leftovers Drill Peck Spikes Roar Rest Bolganone Lvl 95 Salamence@Leftovers Dragon Dance Dragon Claw Earthquake Flamethrowewr
  3. I guess it can't really be called a hyper "offense" (I'm canadian I follow the british spelling) team. That's for the review, it's rare to get a legimate good review. - I'll replace Ice Beam with Grass Know on my Empoleon - I'll try to squeeze a priority move in, on infernape maybe? - I'll contemplate making Gengar choiced. - Though my Jolteon helps greatly, the way he plays stops my team wrong being truly called "hyper offence" I might spec him.
  4. I'm used to switching defensive standard teams, with good synergy. But I thought I'd make a hyper offensive team base on Kamikazing. All at the same time playing at my pace not the opponents. Azelf @ Focus Sash Info: Suicide Lead Ability: Levitate EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Stealth Rock - Explosion - Psychic - Fire Blast Info: Standard lame lead but it gets the Job done, why I would use this lead is for it's explosion, to keep the pace fast. --- Jolteon (M) @ Leftovers Info: Sub Passer Sponge Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 252 Spd/252 SAtk/4 SDef Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Substitute - Baton Pass - Hidden Power [ice] Info: The first part of my amazing Duo. It also sub passes everyone, in which everyone here can benefit from it. Despite fragile defenses it's longevity is top notch, surviving many attacks because of Substitute, volt absorb, leftovers and high speed. --- Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers Role: Physical Sweeper Ability: Intimidate EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Dragon Dance - Bounce - Earthquake - Waterfall Info: The Second part of my amazing Duo, both are immune to each others main weaknesses. If everything goes off right for me, Jolteon with a Sub... baton passes to Gyarados and dodges an deadly earthquake. Then I dragon dance till my sub dies. --- Empoleon (M) @ Petaya Berry Ability: Torrent Role: Special Sweeper EVs: 12 HP/12 Def/234 Spd/252 SAtk Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Agility - Substitute - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam Info: My favorite pokemon and the strongest sweeper (Imo), standard set for it, this thing wreck absolute havoc when fully set up, and setting it up isn't that hard. Doing 40% with hydro pump to a blissey once is a testament to it's strength. --- Gengar (M) @ Expert Belt Role: Suicider Ability: Levitate EVs: 4 Atk/252 Spd/252 SAtk Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Shadow Ball - Focus Blast - Thunderbolt - Explosion Info: My designated suicider, I explode on whichever pokemon I think might cause me trouble.. SB, FB and TB for good coverage. --- Infernape (M) @ Life Orb Role: Wall Breaker Ability: Blaze EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk Hasty nature (+Spd, -Def) - Fire Blast - Grass Knot - Nasty Plot - Close Combat Info: The trump card under my sleeve. I fall prey to blissey, skarmory, gliscor, hippodon etc. As long as my opponent has blissey it unlocks this pokemons hidden potential. I switch to Infernape, the blissey often runs away to it's defensive wall counterpart. That's when I nasty plot and my opponent realizes he got trapped. Sometimes he switches back to blissey only to get 1HKO from close Combat. --- This team is suicidal, attacking until it dies. Bringing on the next counter until it dies as well. Baton Passing helps them set up, as my pokemon just need one free turn to set up. Alot of this sets are standard but the way I play them is different.
  5. Yes I am interested, but I only play on shoddy, Project Pokemon or Smogon, so seeing me is a longshot. Though if I do see you that'll be great. Memjee is my Username there... anyone who breaks past the barrier that is known as cliche teams has my respect.
  6. it's a good team now!! but now it's no longer unique.. Rain dance teams are so cliche. If you make an effective rain dance team that doesn't play like the standard cliche ones I'll be impressed
  7. thumbs up!!! don't have time to rate, just got to say I like it!
  8. This is the same team as your last post... If you changed the moveset you could have just edited your last post.
  9. Also why have the move hail wen you could have abomasnow create an infinite hailstorm? And Vapoureon is a way better wish passer.
  10. Shaymin-s is banned from OU because it's too good. Serene Grace air slash finch haxs, high speed and high special attack, plus the deadly seed flare (80% chance to lower special defence), which ruins special walls.. That's uber caliber... or at least it's too good for OU.
  11. I like it, it's a vast improvement upon.. err nothing xDD Here's my advice on your team.
  12. It's good, way better than your last team =) You have a huge fire weakness even with your gyarados though. I suggest a heatran to prevent a quick death. I'd replace it for your Cresselia as she get's eaten by the common pursuit from a Tyranitar or Scizor. I think your team has good synergy though well done.
  13. It's OU btw (Overused) or UU if that's what you meant. (Under used) Rain teams tend to be hyper offensive teams and even with just eight rain turns it can still be highly effective. 1. Your lead, will need damp rock. And will need to be able speedily set up rain dance or be able to take hits to set up rain dance, examples would be azelf and bronzong. Or you could use a pokemon who can benefit from rain dance, Jirachi can set up rain dance and use thunder. 2. You need a few sweepers with have the ability swift swim. The mighty Kingdra is often the best choice, outspeeding and using power special and physical water attacks, setting off draco meteor and even pumping it's power further with dragon dance. Other sweepers include Ludicolo and Kabutops, omastar and qwilfish. 3. You need a back up rain dancer, so if your lead falls you and rinse and repeat the rain dance. 4. You need a back bone pokemon, for example rain dance teams tend to have many water pokemon for obvious reasons, and due to this they will have many electric weaknessnes, Jolteon, Electrive or Swampert to all sponge electric damage. Weather negaters like Tyranitar and Abomasnow could ruin your rain dance, you might want pokemon that could counter them, Scizor and Infernape are examples (Though infernape is at a disavantage in the rain) Simply set up rain dance and bring out sweepers to sweep. That's the basic concept of a rain dance team. Moves like dry skin and rain dish are gimmicky because they are meant for stalling, but rain dance only last a maximum of 8 turns so it limits it's usefulness. Hope this helps and good luck!
  14. if your keeping your pokemon I suggest tbirds movesets
  15. all the pokemon except Gyarados isn't good competively Raichu... go with jolteon or a rotom form Typhosion - go with... heatran or infernape Venasaur - I'd go with... celebi, orrrr hmmm shaymin-s if it's legal for you to use it.
  16. I would suggest using a different choice scarf pokemon. Scraftran is a revenge killer, and it a solid choice for teams with fire weaknesses. But your team resist fire extremely well. Another thing is this team is in the rain, causing Heatrans main stab move to not as effective. I also suggest using damp rock on either azelf or brongzong and give them damp rock. They both use rain dance effectively and damp rock increases the duration to 8 turns. hope this helps =)
  17. lol I like how you implemented the bible story.
  18. hmmm cool time to put pictures!! actually your rite, celebi and Roserade attacks are too identical. I'm gonna replace celebi with gliscor, it's in sandstorm anyways. But that makes heatran not as important with the lack of fire weaknesses. I might replace him as well, I'm thinking vapoureon.
  19. Nice team, a stealth rock could help your late game sweeper Ambipom big time though. I'll think of some threats Aerodactyl - He can be problem as a lead if your sleep powder misses, your rotom is the answer for him, but your other pokemon will have trouble with him. Swampert - If your roserade is gone, you will have troubles with this bad boy, scarfhera can't beat it 1on1. Your best bet is your gyarados. Gengar - He can be a big issue for you, with his unpredictability and many equally effective sets. Becareful for sludge bomb and C. scarf variants. Empoleon - Fear the subpetaya variants, the ones with grass knot with be a big problem for you. Latias - Calm mind with either lum berry or substitute is piss you off. I don't think gyarados with wacan berry, SR damage can survive a 1cm thunderbolt. good luck on your team, I like the team, it's very creative yet good enough to play standard OU. Btw I'm stealing your Ambipom set =)
  20. lol oh man... It's legal, smogon lets me play it, smogon and PP is the only place I play this team. I have never got an ingame complaint about it. Furthermore... It's barely a factor in my matches, it's the gimmicky pokemon on my team. Considering it "cheap" is almost retarded due to the fact it's no game changer. Anyways, this team is already rated. It's only causing us to flame each other could you lock this? thanks.
  21. Nah I'd say Weaville with ice shard is needed. It's one of the main advantages over other speedy sweepers. And it's a sureshot way to end a DD Salamence (If it doesn't have Yache Berry)
  22. I completely understand where your coming from assasin. This team looks retarded. It plays retarded too, looking at the movesets are making me laugh. I would think the same way and I expected it to play like crap. But I've played with it over a hundred times with countless logs. The fact I have a winnning ratio (around 60%) proves this team is no gimmick. I'll explain to you this team more. I intially made this team as a halarious gimmick but it's proving to be effective even on the smogon ladder. No one expects such a bull team to win, but it does.
