  1. The power of Serene Grace in action.
  2. I was about to say something about the use of PokeSavDS, but Sabresite beat me to it. It's an interesting idea, but like what has been said already there really isn't a time I wouldn't be without my laptop, and the fact using a keyboard on a DS means using a stylus or d-pad (no thanks), it's not for me. But I'll lend a hand testing if it comes to that point so keep me updated.
  3. It's all a matter of opinion really, it may be that they don't play the cards but rather just enjoy the artwork on it's own merits. My favourte cards were from the 'Pikachu World Collection' set which had nine cards from different languages all Pikachu related and included a few such as '____'s Pikachu' which I have always cherished. Gonna have to dig that out to see it again.
  4. Maybe it's because it's a kids game, and the majority of the players are, *gasp*, kids?
  5. I haven't been there for a month now... don't feel like going back because it will just suck me back in so I will pass. Also, currently in Australia for a holiday, the government banned it here so it won't be happening anyway.
  6. Apparently the DS counts as a console when the GameBoy and PSP do not, alright, let's go with that. Also the missing SEGA consoles, wasn't a fan myself but that's not the point. The definition of 'Best console of all time' can be split into many categories, which is why I hate 'Top 10 games of all time" as a lot of it can because of the wonderful invention of 'nostalgia goggles'. I chose DS because GameBoy wasn't there but it's along the same lines. The GameBoy was my first console and brought me many hours of entertainment. From there I moved to my GameBoy Pocket, GameBoy Colour, GameBoy Advance, GameBoy Advance SP then it evolved into the DS, DS Lite and now DSi. So my best definition of 'Best console of all time' is fun-factor/quality.

    Manga!

I'm a fan of manga, nothing too serious but it's definately a past-time, much the same when it comes to viewing anime. Favourite manga-series, most likely between 'Bleach' and 'Negima?' at the moment for its storyline. A series I was thoroughly interested was 'Zombie Powder' by Tite Kubo, unfortunately that only lasted four volumes so I won't be seeing that again where as 'Beach' (also by Kubo) and 'Negima?' (Ken Akamatsu, creator of 'Love Hina') are still on-going series. Currently I'm reading through the Pokemon 'Diamond and Pearl Adventures' which I'm finding humourous even when it is at the low end of boyish humour such as glomping, butt-biting and so-on and so-forth. So yeah, I like manga.
  8. Pikablu is Marill. Anyways, at some point in Red, I managed to glitch the game to give me two bicycles in my items menu, not sure how, but it meant I now had a bike to ride on, and a bike to come off of, ah the simple things. I also managed to have a level two hundred and something with a glitched Snorlax from Cinnabar and giving it multiple rare candies, there would be a point where it would go back to level one, so the fun ended quickly however. There are legimate walkthroughs that show you how to get a level seven Mew in R/B/Y, although Yellow does have an alternate walkthrough because it was "vastly" different.
  9. Fire/Water - Quick! Use steam! Pure flying type perhaps? My friend is determined there must be a platypus Pokemon for 5th gen, "Just 'cause."
  10. I'm Akaria, Aka or Kyle is fine also. ... ...'Sup.
  11. Clearly my Kana isn't up to scratch, what is "川"? I got the "ロル" (roru) but "川"? And it is amazing what Google translate can do for people.
  12. Caps lock isn't cruise control to cool, no matter what people tell you.
  13. I always choose fire-types and Chimchar was very helpful, and ended up conquering every gym no problem. Roark - Fighting-type moves. Gardenia - BURNBURNBURN Maylene - Mainly just brute force, Monferno/Infernape is pretty fast at this point. Crasher Wake - Fighting-type moves or catch a Shinx along the way. Fantina - Fire-type moves. Byron - Both Fighting and Fire-type moves. Candice - BURN Volkner - Fire-type moves out of preference. I just find it works for me.
  14. By the looks of things, there is only one tournament for the UK, which isn't very practical for someone who lives up North, where the Haggis' run free and the caber's are evidently tossed (gee, guess where I'm from).
  15. Sky Shaymin - Used to hate the thing but I turned from ">:C" to ":3". Drifloon - It's a Pokemon, that steals children, what's not to like? Charizard - First starter <3 Porygon-Z - A hacked/corrupted computer program that's also a Pokemon, that's cool in my books. Will get back to you on the 5th, didn't realised I liked so many 4th gen.
  16. Have the item you wanted duplicated in the 6th slot (if I recall), fly to Viridian, talk to the old man and watch him capture the Weedle, fly to Cinnabar and surf up and down the coast of the East side of Cinnabar, when you encounter MissingNo, beat/capture him and look at your items, voila.
  17. To be honest, Ranger was a bit of a bore for me, only really played it for Manaphy, then the sequel for another Manaphy, Riolu and Darkrai. Never played Mystery Dungeon seeing as it doesn't distribute Pokemon to my Diamond file, typical.
  18. Clearly you weren't around in the R/B/Y days, ah the memories.
