  1. Did a PID Check -- not a hex check regarding the thread, assuming everything would be alright. Dragonite: Fine Magnezone: Fine Breloom: Hatched with a Method 1 IVPID. --> Hacked Rotom: Fine Swampert: Hatched with a Method 1 IVPID. --> Hacked Azelf: Fine You got the syncs correct for the PIDs (good), however using a method 1 IVPID (A-B-C-D) is incorrect. There is no tie between IVs and PID for eggs, but having a method 1 indicates you used a generator for the PID. I didn't check ID/SID legality either. Read here for ID/SID legality: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11730-Simple-Legal-Check Egg PIDs should be grabbed from RNG Reporter if you really want to be 100% legal, I'm not 100% sure if egg PIDs are entirely random, but it's super fishy when there's a method 1 relevance. Just make up a random shiny PID and make up the IVs you want, they can be flawless. However given enough effort, a few of the fake PIDs can be exposed. I suggest taking them from RNG Reporter.
  2. nope, you'd have to mod the rom (there's already a tool for that), or you can just edit the mon. Here's some codes I recently made for those testing RNG on carts for Smogon.
  3. The only way to share cards is with the IR function (at least as far as we can see) Since no redistributable cards exist, it's just a shot in the dark for testing right now... once we get a redistributable card (if at all) it'll be figured out! The 0xAA-0xAB region is what we expect it to lie in for game restrictions (unobtainable items) and redistributability limits. There probably won't be AR codes as there are two locations the cards and gift data exist inside the memory. The first location is the same for all DSes/saves, but the second is spaced oddly depending on the MAC address of your DS ==> any code would have to adjust to that. In addition cards won't save if you inject the memory akin to a card and gift when they are unencrypted during viewing, so someone would have to find the region where the encrypted data is for the man holding the gift for AR codes to be even remotely possible. The scattered memory locations would probably wreak the same havoc, as the game relies on MAC addresses for many things this generation (RNG). YES IT IS ME DEEP IN THOUGHT. awesome pic is awesome.
  4. yep it's OCD The PID generation method for gen 5 is a little unconventional, but it's no longer an IVPID relation. It's an NPID relation now. Since "initial seeds" are 8 bytes instead of 4, only the upper half of the seed is taken for PID calculation. All it is is XOR'd with some constant depending on the Pokemon. Nature is generated in the previous call in the RNG. I'm not 100% sure with a formula for each because there are many different methods (Egg, Wondercard, Wild, Zoroark, Reshiram, Legends) in which the nature is most likely generated on a different call (Eggs and wondercards are different). The RNG is still getting ironed out
  5. As if there aren't english made tools (PMGE + PokeGen) that do the exact same thing Pokesav can do.
  6. Use http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?6524-Pokmon-Mystery-Gift-Editor-%28v1-4-final%29-%28with-basic-B-W-MG-editing%29 instead. At a quick glance, gift type is 0. Just use ^^^
  7. The HGSS Zapdos should have an encounter type 0 (egg etc), not tall grass. It's just that way my oversight there
  8. did ya check the IDs? That is a valid method K PID, everything looks fine also. So long as the IDs are good, you are good to go. If you didnt use pandora's to find valid IDs, just stick D94ABB52 in there and search for a normal 3000-11000 for shiny IDs
  9. Distant Place is probably the problem. All Pal Parked pokemon show up with their met location as Pal Park. The RNG presumably has been cracked, but only recently and to a limited extent. It is in the beta RNG Reporter... (i digress)
  10. not currently and 8MB is too big, it should be 512KB like before, change your save type.
  11. see my compiled post http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?11474-Hex-Values-and-Trashbytes-in-B-W&p=93598&viewfull=1#post93598 Under transfer machine it has the met locations for used/unused for celebi/crown. The transfer machine is different from the shifter.
  12. You can't trade shiny eggs unless you know both IDs of the receiving (hatching) trainer, because that is how shinyness is determined.
  13. The only problems it has is with an 86h =/= 0. The program is perfectly fine shifting a DPPt Pokemon, if you want to get one from that.
  14. Duh, it has to be a 512KB file (you had a 520KB file). You gotta have the right file size. Look into whatever program you got that save from to get it to spit out a 512KB. Answer to below: You have to export it as a RAW save via file export backup memory. You really shouldn't be asking "why can't I get the correct save size from a program"
  15. Enjoy 9%20Post%20Elite%20Four%20%281%29%20Fishing%20Rod%20Gained.sav
  16. [double post]
  17. No Changing IVs will need you to change the PID accordingly. That algorithm (method) is not in any generator, In Bond697's GTS thread he has a flawless wifi mew, if that is any recompense.
  18. You didn't put an Encounter Method (85h), and that is an invalid PID (you can't have 31 IVs and naive, it's an invalid IV-PID) Everything else looks fine. I suggest using PokeGen instead of PokeSav. You should try out GTS emulation (hypergts) if you can't find anyone.
  19. oh man that was only 4 pages back... digging less than 4 more pages backwards....
  20. Delay*~60=Seconds .... *~60 = Minutes needed to wait from power on. ~83.7 minutes you'd have to leave your game on before ending the new game dialogue. No human would ever do that for non-novelty IDs, they wan't to play the game. If you want "legal" IDs, just use the PID search side, specify a range somewhere in 4500-10000 (50 delays is fine) and you get IDs that make it shiny that you can get normally.
  21. One of the hardest things to check for (and what 99.99% of hackers disregard) is ID legality. Eggs are the easiest to fake, without a doubt. There is no PID/IV relevance. For Wild Pokemon: IV-PID Relationship is the biggest way of checking. Sync checks as well, in addition to Encounter Slots. Legal only does DPPt sync checks, but there is another app that checks both DPPt+HGSS, and encounter slots. Use PokeGen and a guide for it, and you will create something "legal" enough. But you should never pass something off as "legit".
  22. It's the 41h, but only for Generation 4. Shiny Leaves are wiped when you transfer them to B+W, sadly. http://www.serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/shinyleaf.shtml
  23. legal pokemon, illegal ids since 99.9% of people's legality definition does not include ID legality, you should be fine
  24. Both of you tested in Black and White? If this was true it'd be pretty lulzy, no more wonderguard spiritombs
