  1. DeSmuMe has the option to tell it what is in slot 2, so it's probably possible. (Haven't tested it though.)
  2. Don't forget the target audience. The 3D is bad for children and it's harder to break.
  3. 1. No, look here for other ways of accessing your save file. http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?16601-NDS-How-to-Backup-Restore-your-retail-cartridge-save-file-for-DS-games
  4. In game, because Pokebank isn't out yet, and the exploit (that was patched and won't work anymore) to modify Pokémon wasn't revealed.
  5. It's good that you have it working, but for future reference, target game in the cheats dialog and Pokegen in general are different. Unless you entered the code incorrectly, the target game is the only think I think could have been incorrect.
  6. Have you set the right target game outside the cheats dialog?
  7. Is this using PokeGTS.us? Anyway, not a PokeGen bug. Moving to Misc, since we don't have a forum for GTS hacks.
  8. Sorry, there are currently no editing tools for Mystery Dungeon ROMs.
  9. Why can't you use the GTS hack? If you can use WiFi, you can use the GTS hack.
  10. Did you remember to change back the DNS server in Wifi settings? Anyway, cheating is bad if done against unsuspecting opponents, and is not tolerated at the Project Pokemon forums. Hacked Pokemon belong only in game.
  11. Have you DLDI patched the .nds? Patchers can be found at: http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/DLDI/ and the appropriate patch is at: http://filetrip.net/nds-downloads/other-files/download-datel-games-n-music-dldi-2-f704.html I personally have trouble with microSDs larger than 2GB with the v1 patch; haven't tried the v2 patch. And it is for the Action Replay DSi even though it says Games 'n Music (same company).
  12. It only lets you edit the team name and view held items for Time/Darkness. That reminds me, just a little more testing and I can release an update that allows item editing for T/D. [Edit] Here's a beta version with the new features. https://skyeditor.codeplex.com/releases/view/116384 Big thanks to matix2267 for his easily managed code for interacting with bits. His source code was translated and added to Sky Editor, and the held item code was slightly modified for use in Time/Darkness.
  13. He loved that Charamander, and trained it until it became a Charizard.
  14. This Pokémon Trainer had a very special ability, one that many people believed to be restricted only to science fiction.
  15. If you have access to Action Replay codes, use Pokegen to make a code that changes your key item bag to contain everything you have except the items you want removed. If you have access to your save file, you can use Pokegen to simply remove the item.

  17. Are you sure your computer's firewall allows incoming connections over FTP?

  19. I haven't tested these, but found the exact values here (I'm pretty sure this is the quicksave area): 0x1C187-0x1c188: Team Member 1 Current Health (Yay, no bit shifting!) 0x1c189-0x1c18a: Team Member 1 Max health Additionally, in PkmnEx, HP2 is the max HP, and HP1 is the current HP at the time of entering the current floor, both as shown by the game. I'll update this post when I have more. [edit] By the way, you can safely have your held item editor access 50 items. There's 100 held items, 50 for the main story, 50 for the special episode. The 51st item is the 1st item of the special episode. 49 and 50 can hold usable items, you just can't fill those slots in-game.
  20. Just curious, what game do you want to make a save editor for?
  21. The reason for the release being so much after the release of the game? Wouldn't you rather have the game a few months ago instead of waiting until now? It takes time to perfect the online service; there's no point in delaying the game when the service isn't ready. And the delay now? It takes money and resources to host online services. Nintendo isn't going to invest more money in servers than they expect to be in use. In this case, they must have underestimated how much traffic they would experience. So sit back, relax, do something besides complain about the unexpected delay. Watch TV, play with your current Pokémon, find another game, etc.
  22. Welcome to the forums, gamerman960!
  23. If you are able to boot from a disk/usb, try looking up how to do a RAM check, which would tell you if the new RAM is defective or not.
  24. Yep. 6 geese a' laying
