  1. I accidentally missed your previous message. Sorry for the late reply, I hope you understand I have a life outside of the forums, and don't stay here 24/7. For static encounters (such as legendaries) in Generation 3, there's only 6 PIDs that can yield perfect IVs. Those natures are locked, too. The 6 natures in the table above is Modest, Docile, Modest, Timid, Calm, and Modest. You likely just think that the nature needs to be Modest, because it has a 50% chance of showing up when trying to obtain a Gen 3 legendary with perfect IVs. This is what I was talking about in my initial reply: "trying to change the IVs/PID/Shininess could cause illegality, as the information is 'calculated based on a formula'" According to the formula, the PID of 685011A9, with all IVs at 31, can only have nature Modest. Correct me if I am wrong, however I believe you just changed your nature here (seen in picture below). That caused the Groudon's PID to change, and made the Groudon illegal. (and this is what the error 無効: エンカウントタイプと性格値が一致しません which in this case means: the IVs selected doesn't match what the formula would have generated.) For Generation 3, changing the nature there can cause legality errors. Keep in mind it is still possible to make the Groudon legal, but it will involve changing the IVs (I will show the fix further down). Explanation on "the formula" I mentioned above. Example of me trying to fix your Groudon with the new PID: Extra information: Eggs have a different formula from static encounters (such as Groudon), hence why Nature isn't an issue.
  2. did you mean ph1/2/3/4? Only certain games have certain mons. When you use the "load boxes" option, Pokemon that don't exist in that game won't be loaded.
  3. You will set the TID/SID up as another trainer, OT as another trainer, and handling trainer as you. relating to your second trainer, no correlation is known currently, but to be safe, just start a new save on another account, then copy Trainer details from there.
  4. Only possible for Sword and Shield because it’s technically a loophole. (PK8 was the basis for HOME) however, not recommended. They can easily track such cases (if they wanted to) and implement any changes/penalties retroactively.
  5. No, follow the steps to extract the update's code.bin instead of the ROM's code.bin This section:
  6. Check whether there's a game update already installed on the game you're playing. That's a common mistake; using the wrong code.bin
  7. Looks like there’s something weird going on. I’ll reupload em all. Edit: Made it a try and let me know.
  8. Given 3DS online servers has gone done, it’s not like we can trade it to you. Follow this link to hack your 3DS: https://3ds.hacks.guide/
  9. You got a homebrew’d 3DS? You’ll be able to modify saves, and with save modification, you can inject the event.
  10. Yeah I don’t think I use those box names. In any case the file you’re referring to (for mine) is complete. The goal was to fill up the box for the National Dex ID with minimal events (they’re only there when necessary). The goal for these files isn’t to be a repository for events. In the USUM scenario, there’s more PC slots than National Dex ID. Is there anything else you deem to be missing?
  11. AFAIK I have no idea how that’s decided and stored in the save. However I do have saves for those legendaries (keep in mind saves for ZA can’t be shared, but that would help with research). For now, under block editor, set the pity count to 254 or something. The next special scan (or one after) would be a legend/mythical portal.
  12. And hello! Also gonna ask, what is your main area of interest?
  13. Well hey! For such instances, I think changing the OT name is fine (for mons without a HOME tracker). Make sure you keep it consistent for all the mons who share the same origin (tho realistically, at least based on present standards, HOME doesn’t check it)
  14. Non-event mons from retail carts of Gen 1 or 2 would likely not be flagged, as they are identical to copies caught in virtual console of Gen 1 / 2. You probably shouldn't let the OT be PKHeX. This questions also implies you're creating mons from scratch, not actually transferring them in. Genning for usage against unsuspecting players would be against our rules, and I implore you to not gen mons for online play. Just transfer them normally. Mons captured in Gen 1 and 2 do not have a "captured date"; the date assigned by Poke Transporter would be the "date transferred".
  15. Welcome! What is your main area of interest?
  16. Looking at your picture, there's a shiny partner cap Pikachu. So you're supposedly looking at my USUM bin. I'll be using that moving for. Just to be clear, you are using my pcdata.bin files as reference right, not a save file from me or something? IIRC pcdata.bin doesn't contain box names.. Those come from whatever file you're using as the base save. What they look like on my end. For the record, box 28 is the last filled box. I've got a non-shiny Zeraora as the last slot (it was the last available Pokemon in the dex for USUM, and a shiny variant was not released then.) pcdata.bin is just a dump of all the slots in the pc, not every slot has to be filled. So was your issue the box names suggesting there'll be stuff, or was it the presence of empty boxes?
  17. You should select a Pokemon from the encounter database, rather than create it from scratch. Also, trying to change the IVs/PID/Shininess could cause illegality, as the information is 'calculated based on a formula'. I believe you can set up specific stats you want in the encounter database.
  18. Yes, would need to go online with a modded Switch. Using a modded Switch to go online currently isn't a problem (only a problem for pirates or those with any kind of sketchy installation etc)
  19. Thanks for the clarification, I didn’t know I could do that! @Makotoitou with that in mind, you can grab the csv for every save, combine them into a single spreadsheet, then check for duplicates.
  20. Hey @Kaphotics, sorry to ping, is it possible to add the HOME tracker ID to the Box Data Report in PKHeX? I've tried taking a look at it for SV and PLA, and I don't see it there
  21. I was doing it partway, but realized there's way too much to be worth my time (it isn't a simple task) If possible, make a single upload, with all the version for each language. Then I can go ahead and hide the old version.
  22. If you aren't good at soldering, you could use a service that solders for you. Use it at your own risk!
  23. You'll need a Switch that can be hacked. Switch (launch revision) can undergo software hacking (easy) Later models (Switch Lite / Switch [mariko] / presumably OLD) will need hardware modification Switch 2 is currently unhackable. if you don’t own a model that has been hacked nor easy to hack, then there isn’t much we can say. What Switch do you currently own? For the record, hacked Switches can use HOME; it’s the Switches with pirated content that cannot go online.
