I get an error attempting to open PKHeX Starting from Version 23.12.18 (18th December 2023), PKHeX has been updated to require the .NET 8 (up from .NET 7). If you receive the following error messages attempting to open PKHeX, please install .NET 8: "A fatal non-UI error has occurred in PKHeX, and there was a problem displaying the details. Please report this to the author." "To run this application, you first must install .NET 7. Contact your application publisher for instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of .NET." "PKHeX has stopped working." ".NET 8 needs to be installed for this version of PKHeX to run." More Information on this inside the Spoiler. How do I run PKHeX on my Mac? You don't. Use a Virtual Machine to run a Windows OS that has .NET 8 installed. Consider creating a separate Windows partition, or Virtual Machine using Parallels or VMWare. Gen 7 RNG manipulation Ressources: RNG Calculators: wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool Quandra’s PokemonSunMoonRNGTool For Mac users, jasenyoface has kindly made available a Wine bundle (v2.10a) for Quandra’s calculator, which can be downloaded here. NB.: You will require a timer for stationary and gift pokemon RNG manipulation. For Windows users, EonTimer is recommended. As another alternative, both Windows & Mac users can use emtimer (jap.). ***NEWS*** A port of wwwwwwzx's SMEncounterRNGTool and Quandra's PokemonSunMoonRNGTool is curently in development for web browsers. This will allow almost any device with a browser to run these calculators. It’s being developed by the same people who made pokeCalcNTR. You can access the project’s official GitHub link here. Other useful RNG manipulation tools: pokeCalcNTR is an overlay plugin that allows the user to view in real-time IVs, Nature, Seed, frames and much more in Sun & Moon. Plans are being made to make it compatible with Gen 6 as well. Do note however that in order to run this plugin you will require CFW, FBI and NTR Selector to be installed on your console. Also, you will need to have your copy of Sun or Moon on the latest firmware 1.1 in order for pokeCalcNTR to properly display the initial seed and current frame (otherwise “initial seed" will incorrectly be stuck on 0 while frames will remain fixed on a given number). The most recent update of Invision Power Board (IPB, our forum system) comes integrated with 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) support. We've decided to switch to this having previously relied on an external plugin. Anyone who has previously configured 2FA will need to re-configure it. We apologize for the inconvenience, but on the bright side, this shouldn't be necessary in the future since as long as we stay with IPB. For those of you who are not familiar with 2FA, it is a way to secure your account even further. In the event someone steals your password, they will be unable to enter your account without also having access to a device of yours that runs Google Authenticator. To set it up, install Google Authenticator on a supported device, scan the bar code found in your account settings, and enter the code that Authenticator displays. If you aren't able to use Google Authenticator or simply don't want to, you can also try WinAuth (thanks to @ReignOfComputer for making me aware of this). Using 2FA is not required, but highly recommended. If anyone has any questions, feel free to send me a PM, reply to this thread, or ask in our IRC channel.

It helps that the VC Mews are always perfect DV clones. And considering Glitch Mews are blocked (unless you use the 8F method to change the OT and TID), I wouldn't surprised if more VC Mew events happen this year.

G7TID = (TID + (SID * 65536))%1000000 iirc So you basically have to do the maths to gen your desired G7TID

I found 1 Torchic after shaking my Pokewalker to 10,000 steps for hours. 400 watts. I didn't catch it. This is gonna be harder than I thought. I'm working on other courses. (Don't know if I shared that yet.) All of these are on my Japanese Soul Silver. Hopefully I can get the rest tomorrow.

Updated my Wine, and used the dot net 4.6 and still ended up getting the same error. Not sure what other measures I could try. Am I just better off continuing using the 170128 version for now?
