kbrown Posted October 3, 2010 Share Posted October 3, 2010 For anybody else asking about ARDS / B/W incompatability, my friend Reklaw_Vahn and I tested a few things with what equipment he has (a DSLite, a physical imported Pokemon Black Version (JPN), an ARDS V1.52) What could it be? We figured it was one of a handfull of things The AR itself was broken (busted, it worked with other games) The game itself was broken (busted, it played without the AR) We had the wrong Game ID (busted, we followed Datel's steps to find the Game ID and it was the same as what's on this and other sites) The codes were bad (busted, he deleted all the codes and only kept the Game ID and the game still wouldn't start) The firmware version of his ARDS was not compatable with Pokemon Black/White Version (JPN) (could very well be as apparently from what I've read on the translated Datel Japan site, they needed an update to their firmware version to play B/W (JPN) too. There's certain triggers (like receiving the wondercard, receiving it from the man) on top of having the ticket for it to be a successful code. If you start a new game with a contributed save with the Wondercard already downloaded (you can have cards on an unstarted save now) you can get the Liberty Ticket. How hard can it be for a simple Action Replay code thats the Liberty Ticket, that works just like the event items in Gen 4, where you go to the poke mart and pick it up activating the trigger. KaiKai Posted October 10, 2010 Share Posted October 10, 2010 Well riolu i kinda understand what there getting at... The codes aren't that simple you just don't pop up 123 and poof the code is done... You have to go through all the hex values first then figure out how to do the code. Even if it is a ticket code dosn't mean its less complex then a crown beast or w/e pokemon code... Plus this is a new pokemon game its even more complex sense they tried blocking the AR and hacking yet they didn't try enough. And Riolu when do you think the ticket code well be done if its in a month thats even sooner then i expected... No Seriously. Edit: Would these codes work with the English Patch V2? I'm trying to add them using my Acekard2i and won't recognize them. I've already add the codes to my clean Black version and they work fine. Is it possible to take a fresh game, get the save file, then download the ticket and look at the differing values in the save files? Or can you apply this, or something similar, to an in-game editor, like EmuCheat? Instead of finding the exact values, maybe find a generalized set works? Then narrow it down?
