  2. Hi Everyone, im looking for the VGC09 Milotic file with a valid home tracker, does anyone have such a file or has one in home already they’re willing to share the file for? Many thanks in advance!
  3. Tbh I have no idea how many times she saved. Do you have a guide on hand you could share?
  4. possibly if the game was only saved once, then the backup inside the savedata would be your original save. only way to know is to dump the save data present on the cartridge, and look at it.
  5. My apologies if this is not the correct sub. When I try to select Fire Red or Leaf Green in JKSV to export their saves, it just freezes. No matter how long I wait, it never loads. So far as I can tell, I have the latest versions of hekate, Atmosphere, and JKSV. Since it appears to be working for others, I'm assuming I messed up something along the way. This is a new setup, too: I installed everything about a week ago, and didn't have CFW before. If it helps: I'm using an unpatched Switch with an RCM jig, and CFW on sysMMC. My Switch firmware is 22.1.0.
  6. Figured it out; had to re-create PKHeX's wine prefix afterward, but it's working now.
  7. You can easily downgrade packages with downgrade. That's exactly what I'm doing right now.
  8. No can do; I'm on an Arch-based distro, so downgrading wine isn't really feasible. I guess I'm stuck waiting for a bugfix...
  9. I am aware of this. Starting from Wine version 11.5, there is currently a regression due to a new language code added to ICU, which for some reason is not recognized. There is already an open bug tracking this issue, hopefully someone will see and fix it. For now, use version 11.4, which is the latest safe version.
  10. I set up a fresh wine prefix for PKHeX only on a new laptop, installed dotnet 10.0.6 into it, and I can't open the Trainer Info tab editing a Gen 5 save. All I get are CultureNotFound exceptions. I tried forcing en-US.UTF-8 using environment variables, but it still won't work.
  11. Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone here might know if there is any chance of recovering an old Pokémon Gen 4 save file. Years ago I had my original childhood save on my Nintendo DS cartridge (Pokémon Pearl). A couple of years ago, after a lot of complaining from my sister, she convinced me to overwrite my save file so she could play. She only played a little and then stopped. I deeply regret it now because that original save had a lot of sentimental value. At the time, I was just playing normally on the physical cartridge and I never made any backups with Checkpoint, JKSM, PKHeX, or any other software, I was just a kid using the cartridge on my DS. I’ve recently seen people mention Checkpoint and save recovery, so I wanted to ask: is there any realistic way to recover the old overwritten save if no backup was ever made? I understand it may not be possible, but I wanted to ask people with more knowledge before giving up completely. Even if there is only a small chance using special hardware or recovery methods, I’d like to know. I'd appreciate any links or advice on this topic. Thank you!
  12. Hi, I read the last five pages of this thread and I haven't found a sure answer to this. I know some legendaries can mega evolve, but are there any other ones? I just wanted to know if I should be looking for mega stones or not. I'm really enjoying the mod. The only bug I keep running into is switching between manual and automatic in dungeons. Sometimes it gets stuck on manual, and the only way to fix it is restarting the ROM. (Won't let me progress to a new floor either if I try going up the stairs.) I'm playing on melonDS 1.1
  13. If some people are interested there are unused encounters in ORAS according to TCRF (ROM hacking probably).
  14. Hi, new update 1.7.3 based on your feedbacks and bug reports (from here, Github issues, and in-app anonymous feedbacks). Some features and lot of fixes, including for your issue @ThreeSA.

This game has a few rather serious bugs in it. There's an issue where if you use a spread move that hits everything on the field and there is something on the field that has an immunity or the ability to absorb that move the move fails. The example of this is Minun using discharge, you have Lantern with Volt Absorb, and as soon as Lantern gets hit, Discharge does not hit anyone else. This works for you and your enemies. There's a lack of any Pokemon that get moves like Explosion which drastically would help with XP leveling. Even though your enemies get the move you do not. I'm not sure if this is a bug but there seems to be a weird thing where if you use a spread move and a Pokemon on the field has used Destiny Bond, if you k/o that Pokemon before hitting anything else on the field you will instantly die and your attack will just stop. This applies to move normally but also glitches spread moves like surf, discharge, and earthquake. Where is the first Pokemon that gets hit with the move uses destiny Bond, it takes you out and then your attack animation just ends. All three legendary dogs get effectively the exact same moveset. The game's difficulty wasn't as much of a factor as more time consuming than difficult.
  16. Any chance there's a code to modify Opelucid City in the US version of Pokemon Black?
  17. That's good to hear. It's not limited to Generation 3; a number of games have the 'pseudo random generator sequence' deciphered. Generation 3, Generation 4, and Generation 8 is affected. If I'm not mistaken, Generation 9 does have a personality-determination protocol. However, if I recall correctly, it can be computationally intensive if implemented on the program to scan the whole box whenever a save is loaded, so it is not implemented at this time.

  19. is there any code for in-game trainer exchanges?
  20. Is it possible to add ray via pkhex, I tried using database but it would not allow it for some reason.
  21. In PKHeX the Plasma-Glazed and Delta Old-Fashioned Donuts are shown to have mismatched Flavor 1 Powers. However, in-game the Donuts are correctly matched (e.g. Plasma-Glazed Donut has Thunderclap Power and similarly for the other donut). It seems that the two Powers are mislabelled in PKHeX?
  22. So, if I understand your problem correctly, what you're experiencing is not an error with PKHeX, but rather a user error. I hope you'll see my earlier response in a better light; we get reports a lot, and a lot of them tend to be user errors (due to being uninformed or misinformed, however keep in mind we don't expect all users to be informed), hence why I suggested another way to do it. In any case, if you are not using Encounter Database filters/criteria settings, you then have 3 options: 1. If you want Adamant as a nature, you cannot have perfect IVs (I specially created a table below for you) 2. If you want to keep perfect IVs, choose natures and PID according to the table below. 3. Just use the illegal groudon; games usually will not punish you for owning a Pokémon with illegal PIDIVs.
  23. Thank you very much, that was a wonderful idea! I wrote a random message onto a Pokemon, then moved it to the mailbox. In PKHex, those two fields ended up being the Player's TID and SID, respectively. Given this, the messages from the tradeback NPCs are generated to have different TID/ SID combos than those of the Pokemon the Player received? That's a surprising finding, but then again, there are a lot of unusual quirks in Generation 3 as a whole. I really appreciate your helpful tip in resolving this mystery, it was driving me a little crazy. Thank you for your time!
  24. Sry for the necro, but Im playing the game, and thank you for the 100% recruit code, I just cant turn off mid dungeon, I use the buttons (Select+R) to activate, but after I recruit the pkm, pressing Select+L wont deactivate the cheat, Ive tried pressing Sel+R or Sel+L+R, so Im stick the whole dungeon saying I dont want recruit that pkm. What am I doing wrong ? Tks again.
  25. I accidentally missed your previous message. Sorry for the late reply, I hope you understand I have a life outside of the forums, and don't stay here 24/7. For static encounters (such as legendaries) in Generation 3, there's only 6 PIDs that can yield perfect IVs. Those natures are locked, too. The 6 natures in the table above is Modest, Docile, Modest, Timid, Calm, and Modest. You likely just think that the nature needs to be Modest, because it has a 50% chance of showing up when trying to obtain a Gen 3 legendary with perfect IVs. This is what I was talking about in my initial reply: "trying to change the IVs/PID/Shininess could cause illegality, as the information is 'calculated based on a formula'" According to the formula, the PID of 685011A9, with all IVs at 31, can only have nature Modest. Correct me if I am wrong, however I believe you just changed your nature here (seen in picture below). That caused the Groudon's PID to change, and made the Groudon illegal. (and this is what the error 無効: エンカウントタイプと性格値が一致しません which in this case means: the IVs selected doesn't match what the formula would have generated.) For Generation 3, changing the nature there can cause legality errors. Keep in mind it is still possible to make the Groudon legal, but it will involve changing the IVs (I will show the fix further down). Explanation on "the formula" I mentioned above. Example of me trying to fix your Groudon with the new PID: Extra information: Eggs have a different formula from static encounters (such as Groudon), hence why Nature isn't an issue.
