  2. That space is currently used for legality triangles
  3. Hello, I would like to make some suggestions for new features. 1) Indicate move's category (physical, special or status) next to their type. Maybe here? There is enough space that would perfectly fit in. 2) Indicate the current type of a selected pokemon (maybe with color bar), that would change according to its selected form (like mega) Thanks for reading, sorry if posted in wrong thread.

  5. Yes you won’t be the “true OT”. Do note that’s shinification via TID/SID is easier and more likely to work. if you’re still interested, any Shinification, follow path (a) instead of (b). Do not aim for flawless IVs or anything crazy.
  6. About shinification, i can make non legendaries a shiny pokemon while keeping pokemons TID and SID same as mine. but im confused why i cannot do this on legendaries. for me to make shiny legendary, i need to change pokemons SID, which means im not the OT of that pokemon anymore right? or is there any other way to make pokemons shiny wwhile keeping their TID and SID same as mine?
  7. Purchase the DLC legitimately.
  8. Hello, I am in need of some help. I have completed all of the story missions and side missions including completing the pokedex. I still have some of Mabel's research not completed, but I do have all but the catch X amount of certain types of Pokemon and the mega crystals smash. I completed the infinite royal battle and got AZ floette. I am lost at how to start the DLC.
  9. if you saved before going on the mission just revert back to it. if otherwise you could try the 'FixMemorySoftLock' asm patch (i haven't tested it yet but im pretty sure it should fix it alongside cutscene stuff. blame the ds for having the processing power of a potato Dx). its the issue regarding sprite file size that discussed about before. if that doesn't work, well, you'll have to wipe your save.
  10. Hey there, I’m a little new to this so I apologize, really really loving the hack, but I’m having this same issue and I’m wondering if there’s any fix? I may have stupidly, accidentally soft-locked my save file (even giving up/defeat takes me to black screen).
  11. Thanks, fixed on latest commit: Enhance H/W/S invalid messages, flag !255 alphas · kwsch/PKHeX@3a8bc58 Thanks, it's actually a GUI bug the invalid Ball you picked is actually being forced back to Poke, but it displayed whatever you selected instead. If you set it to a slot then re-view it, you can confirm the "fixing" of the GUI indication as it really is legal. I've added some logic to display the actual sanitized value (not the selection, if it was impossible), as well as added some logic to check for a specific case where the batch editor/external code managed to set an invalid BallHGSS value. Add Gen4 HG/SS ball check · kwsch/PKHeX@6e48294
  12. Hello! This might be odd as it is not reporting a legality error itself, but something that I believe should be one. In Legends Z-A (and possibly also Legends Arceus), Alphas all seem to be locked at Scale 255. I've run my own legitimately captured Alphas through PKHeX to double-check, as well as some examples from the encounter table. Before I had learned how to use the encounter table, however, I had altered a legitimately captured non-Alpha Hisuian Goodra to become Alpha since I had struggled for hours to capture an Alpha legitimately. After a few hours of playing, I had noticed that its size was showing incorrectly within the game's stat screen despite the Goodra being recognized as being an Alpha. After looking over the file again, I saw that the Scale had not been altered from what the original Goodra's size was. The stat screen showed M instead of XL but the Alpha marker was still present. To demonstrate, here is an Alpha Pikachu that I pulled off the encounter table using the most recent software version. After reducing the Scale from 255 (XL) to 0 (XS), it still shows up as being perfectly legal even though it should not be a legitimate encounter. I'm not sure if this is really an issue or if it's something that can be adjusted, but I did want to bring it to someone's attention since I do appreciate all the hard work that has gone into PKHeX! (And I'm also grateful to have learned how to utilize the encounter table! )
  13. Is it normal with the starter mod for a replaced partner Pokemon to still lack some portraits? It seems there are certain (or maybe just one) portrait(s) that are blank (sometimes with the happy arc sprite above them). I haven't noticed any missing portraits yet for the player Pokemon. I used Espurr for the partner.
  14. I made a new wine wrapper using Sikarugir and the WS12WineShikarugir10.0_3 engine and now the latest PKHeX works fine for me on an M1 processer with Sequoia 15.6 You can keep the program updated yourself by right clicking the app > Show Package Contents > drive_c > Program Files > pkhex and replace the PKHeX.exe with the most recent version. Hope this helps! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zje6Dl_EuKMwYavc6pEgjKuHRmR-HXI4/view?usp=sharing

  16. i was able to get it using the fashion editor by a way theSLAYER mentioned in a different topic open fashion -> click allinone tab -> scroll down until you see 65535 repeating -> replace the topmost 65535 value with 3021111 -> check isquipped & isowned that's what i did but idk if the value you replace matters or if there is any other check. i had already obtained every other piece of clothing/cosmetic/hair color legitmately already before doing this if that helps
  17. Glad to hear that, now its possible to fill it up without spending millions of hours outside, thanks for making this possible...
  18. The post of me that you linked there already has Surskit codes for Emerald. Do they not work?
  19. Since suloku's and BlackShark's posts on this topic, has there been any progress in generating a Surskit mass outbreak event in Emerald without having to mix records? I imagine that most of the data is already present in-game, and the additional bytes seem well within the capacity of an AR code to write.
  20. PKHeX is telling you that there is no RNG frame that can hit the seed, because it checked every single frame against that 37%. It's an impossible-to-hit frame, aka illegal.
  21. Thanks for replying! If this is technically possible albeit unlikely (~37%) assuming every other RNG step was correctly hit, shouldn't PKHeX mark the resulting Scyther as Fishy instead of Illegal?

  23. If you're running a Cute Charm lead, how do you trigger the encounter? There are no species that have the ability Cute Charm, that can also learn Sweet Scent. Without Sweet Scent, you must "randomly" encounter it. That is why PKHeX flags it; you cannot trigger an encounter to land on that PID/IV -- RNG Reporter does not check if a lead can exist for it. The "random" chance of triggering the encounter is 25% (boosting to ~37% via White Flute). See below snippets of PKHeX's code where it verifies the feasibility of "random" encounters. private static bool IsAbleToSweetScent(this LeadRequired lead) => lead is None // Pretty much anything grass. or IntimidateKeenEyeFail // Masquerain & Mawile or PressureHustleSpirit or PressureHustleSpiritFail // Vespiquen // Synchronize: None // Cute Charm: None // Static/Magnet Pull: None ; // BCC only allows one Pokémon to be in the party. // Specific lead abilities can learn Sweet Scent, while others cannot. // The only entry into this method requires an ability that has no species available with Sweet Scent. // Therefore, without Sweet Scent, we need to trigger via turning/walking. // With an area rate of 25, this arrangement will succeed 37% of the time. // The game checks 2 random calls to trigger the encounter: movement -> rate -> generate. // HG/SS has an underflow error (via radio) which can pass the first rand call for movement. // Only need to check the second call for rate. // Rate can be improved by 50% if the White Flute is used. // Other abilities can also affect the rate, but we can't use them with our current lead.
  24. Hi. Trying to import in Scarle/Violet Koraidon/Miraidon (1540) event but in plugin display show Baxcalibur/Gimmighoul. Same to Gimmighoul (1527) -> Veluza
  25. It will. Part of the point of doing it

  27. Playing around with Cute Charm RNG for a Scyther with the following spread in HeartGold: The latest version of PKHeX marks the above 31/31/31/21/31/31/31 Adamant spread as illegal, not able to find a matching RNG frame despite correctly detecting the Cute Charm PID type. I recall that an older version of PKHeX allowed any combination of Cute Charm PID-IV, so is the new legality checker just overzealous? I've attached a mockup of the target Scizor- what am I missing, or is this a bug? 0212 - SCIZOR - EA3200000099.pk4
  28. Hey! I noticed people were having problems with this so I made an account. I was having problems with this too until I made a new wine wrapper using Sikarugir and the WS12WineShikarugir10.0_3 engine and now the latest PKHeX works fine for me. I'm not an expert by any means and I doubt I can help troubleshoot but I'll leave my wrapper here. Hope it helps! Update: added dot net 10 and updated to 1-7. You can keep the program updated yourself by right clicking the app > Show Package Contents > drive_c > Program Files > pkhex and replace the PKHeX.exe with the most recent version. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Zje6Dl_EuKMwYavc6pEgjKuHRmR-HXI4/view?usp=sharing
