  2. I caught Xerneas, Yveltal and Diancie in an Ultra ball and then regretted my decision. Is it possible to modify the SAV file and reactive those missions so I can recatch them? My plan is to dump the savefile, edit it with PKHex to activate those mission and then import the save file on a secondary account. Once caught, they will have the right OT, ball, time (will change date of the console to match original catch) and I will only need to wait for Home support to move them to my main account. The IV will be different, but it's ok. I know I could just edit the pokemon ball on pkhex, but I'm trying to keep the main savefile as clean as possible. Recatching them on a cloned account, then moving them to the main file seems like the best option. EDIT: I would also love to replay Side Mission 3: "Sableye in the Cemetery", because I didn't realize you could catch it instead of knocking it out.
  3. Hi everyone, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place, I'm new here. So, I played Pokémon Legends Z-A on a hacked switch, back when I first started the game 4 days ago, I used PKHeX to add the mystery gift rewards since I cannot obviously claim them. Used JKSV to get the files out and into the switch, everything went fine. Now, I just started the DLC and thought about adding the Kalos starters' megastones, so I did the same as the previous time, but now the game doesn't even load, the switch says "The program has closed due to an error". I tried to un-edit the changes I had done, but it still says the same when I try to open it. Is there anything I can try to make it work again or did I just lost my playthrough? P.s. When using PKHeX, I did a backup of the main save, not the backup file, maybe that's why it's not working anymore?
  4. Use the Block Data editor.
  5. I see. I found where you mentioned this. I don't see those options on pkhex. Is there a tutorial you could point me to so I don't waste your time? I need help haha.
  6. @BilKoChal thanks for your feedback, your point about pokedex will be fixed in next release. I keep in mind the rest. @AnHeroGold thanks, your battle-revolution save should be displayed, it's just wrong named (as "Pokemon") and has a grey neutral icon. This point will be fixed in next release. Please check if your save is present in save list, otherwise share it so I can see the issue. About your issue related to Gen 4 I'm not sure to understand, can you share any screenshot to see what's wrong ? @Vladcik thanks for your report, I'll try to fix these issues.
  7. Is there a cheat code for HMs in Pokémon X ? Please ? #PokemonX
  8. Is there a code for TMs? In Pokemon X ? Please
  9. ah I have none then, that's why I thought that feature wasn't a thing. thank you
  10. Known "inconsistency" I guess? In Alpha some abilities are difficulty based, which includes Drought/Snow Warning on Vulpixes, Vanilla exclusive abilities. In 3.1, difficulty based abilities show up accordingly in Overworld

  12. Hi all, after a lot of trial and error I used this thread (and another recommending the use of Burn2Slot instead of GBABF) I managed to inject my save from an Emerald ROM I played on my phone onto a bootleg cartridge. I had huge progress on my cartridge, but suddenly lost everything, as is expected form bootlegs. I am really grateful that I can not continue playing with another savefile instead. Thanks all! Some remarks: It really only worked AFTER I started a new game on the cart, got a pokemon, saved twice, but most importantly: OPENED THE BOXES ON PC. It is described perfectly in the original post, but I still missed to do this action and could not get it to work. Another thing, The Bootleg Injector will get confused if the .gba or .bin file is in a folder that ends in *gba. I think because it will look for a backup file called foldername minus gba plus bak. Just a finding, maybe its useful.
  13. Hello everyone, this is my first post. Seeing all the selfless help and the countless hours of work saved thanks to your site, I've decided to share something I'm working on, though I'm not sure if this is the right place to do it. So, I used the Battle Tower glitch in Ruby to capture several Pokémon from that tower with perfect IVs. They were obviously obtained through the glitch, but without any modifications. I did it via an emulator, because using an original cartridge would be incredibly tedious. My question is, first, are these Pokémon legal and valid? Because Pokehex detects them as fake, even though they were obtained within the game. And second, do they have any real value? I'm a complete beginner with this, and I've started a small Pokémon collection, currently with Generation 3. And one of those goals was to capture these perfect Pokémon from the Battle Frontier. I haven't seen them uploaded anywhere. My idea is to share them here when the collection grows, but as I said, they're free, they're legal and all that. Thanks! I'm uploading one of them as a test so the experts can verify if everything is correct: a regice with perfect IVs. 0378 - REGICE - F883BA2A19BA.pk3

  15. PKHeX already provides a list of stashed Shinies in the "Other" tab. If you want more detailed information, like coordinates, use this plugin (no support provided for it on this forum): https://github.com/santacrab2/ShinyStashMap
  16. Heyah ! I'm back with another question / suggestion. Today i'm starting to setting up my PKVault for LZA. I'd like to use the pkm duplication link function because after thinking a lot, the potential for my needs is just incredible. My main issue is the following : I've caught a Shiny Alpha Ralts early in my LZA run (before that PKVault was supporting LZA etc) Obviously because i'm crazy, I do have a backup of the Ralts right after catching it. So I extracted it and put it on my PKVault. The thing is that I used the Ralts during my gameplay and I've a level 100 Gardevoir I wanted to know how to "replace" the link created by a desired Pokemon (here my Gardevoir) I'm asking with that case but i'm talking about hundred of Pokemon that I used but still kept the original copy. Edit : After some testing, I see it doesn't keep the link when you evolve a Pokemon. Could it be fixable ? I feel like not tying the Pokemon to the species could help here ? Also a little bug : If you use the double box view and go on the same box, it'll create a dupe Edit 3 : Not sure if it's tied to PKVault 100%, but I didn't use anything else. In LZA, one of the Pokemon in my team was 100% frozen : No way for it to move, to use a move, to mega, nothing. Putting it in a box / team again fixed the issue but yeah Thanks !
  17. For a Mew to obey in Gen 3, it has to be from one of the official events that distributed it at that time. A Japanese Mew caught in Faraway Island, for example, fits that bill. Or the 10ANIV distribution. If you're on this forum, I assume you've stumbled upon PKHeX, the save editor we use here. If you open your save there and go to the encounter database, you'll see possible Mews there. They won't have your OT/ID, so you'll need enough badges, though, of course.

    Obedient Mew?

Hey everyone pretty new to the emulation front. I can’t seem to figure out a good way to get a mew that listens on firered. Any advice or help on the subject?
  19. Would it be technically possible for PKHeX to "scan" or keep a tracks in some ways for the shiny pokemons currently available in the overworld? I.E. having a list with pokemon currently saved on the map and their location.

  22. I found a weird thing. I don't know if it's a bug or if it'd intended behavior, so I thought I'd bring it up. I set my partner be Alolan Vulpix. I started the game with the difficulty on "difficult." Their abilities are Snow Cloak and Cute Charm. I was looking for a more casual experience, so I swapped the difficult to vanilla after a while, and their cute charm ability swapped to snow warning, but it only shows up in dungeons. Going back to "difficult" difficulty fixes it. I don't really want endless hail in my game, so unless there's a workaround or fix I missed while searching this thread I guess I"m stuck playing on difficult.
  23. You can use FTPD on the 3DS to connect to something like Filezilla or File Explorer on the computer through the IP address provided on the 3DS. You'll need to make sure both devices are connected to the same network. This allows you to tranfser wirelessly without needing to take out the SD card every time. I do this myself but I wish I knew this around the time of the gen 7 years, would have saved me a lot of time taking out the SD card.
  24. If that is the case, is there a way to transfer the save files to the computer without having to eject the memory card from the 3DS to the computer? Either wirelessly or with a cable?
  25. None of the above. Install custom firmware, then dump your save files with homebrew apps like JKSV or Checkpoint.
  26. I’m trying to find a reliable way to extract save files from my physical 3DS cartridges to my PC, edit them using PKHeX, and then re-inject them back onto the original cartridges. I currently own the following hardware: - R4i Save Dongle - Cyber Gadget Save Editor (Japanese) - Action Replay PowerSaves for 3DS From what I’ve gathered, older forum posts (mostly 10+ years old) suggest that these tools either don’t support 3DS save dumping or are limited to encrypted saves that can’t be used with PKHeX. However, I’m wondering if there have been any updates, workarounds, or community tools that now allow any of these devices to: 1. Dump decrypted 3DS save files compatible with PKHeX 2. Re-inject edited saves back into the original cartridge Thanks in advance for any help or updated info!
  27. I've Updated to 2.0.0 and have the DLC now and tried Emporium again, still no luck. Only thing I can think of at this point is the event flags, but I have no way to compare with my save.
