Hello, I am trying to RNG on DeSMuME and have run into the following issues: 1) RNG Reporter - I cannot find the values for VCount, Timer), GxStat, and VFrame. What type of DS do I put in for "DS Type"? 2) I would like to know when the "second"(time/clock)comes into effect. Is it as soon as I open the game on the emulator? 3) Is there a LUA script that shows the RNG? 4) Anywhere to read up on emulation RNG? Having a hard time finding anything dedicated to emulation RNG. 5) When would I hold "Keypresses"? I know I am asking alot of questions, but I am sure this thread will help someone else in the future. Also, I tried downloading RAM Watch(IDK what it does, but it seemed useful) but Kaphotics webpage does not allow you to download it anymore(404'd). All Smogon links lead to the same 404'd page. Does anyone know when project pokemon will make a pokesav for these games? I have pokesav for black and white right now, but sadly my action replay DSi code manager can't read the file or something. So I was wondering when project pokemon would upload pokesav for Black and White.

Hi, I'm fairly adept at getting PokeGen-created pokemon to work on B/W Wi-Fi. But I can't seem to get pokemon with Gen-3 moves working. For instance, a perfectly legal set should be: Dusclops 508 EV, 31 in DEF/HP/SPD IV, a correct ability/nature/gender/PID set (pressure/calm/male), correct location, with a legit movepool: Night Shade (by level) Seismic Toss (3rd-Gen) Trick Room (by TM) Mimic (3rd-Gen) Yet this pokemon is rejected by the official server. I assume it's because one of the following reasons: -The official server does not actually consider Gen3 moves legal (even though they could easily be) for simplicity's sake -There's some hidden data that needs to be inserted So I'd like to ask. Whether it's either of those issues or if I'm missing something else entirely. Secondly, my goal is to create a legit ExtremeSpeed / Gluttony / Bellydrum Linoone for Wi-Fi. Is this currently possible? Does the official server recognize that set as legal even if you actually obtain such a rare pokemon? Attached the Duscplos if someone is curious

I'm starting my own region. It's called Hihntunova. It's my best combination of Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. It will have 10 gyms and 4 Elite Four Members. A battle Frontier will be included as well. Your Pokémon may hold ANY item, as long as it isn't hacked. Oh yeah, that reminds me; NO HACKS!!! Although, I have one hack exception: Shinies ARE allowed. Also, no teams with more than 1 legendary. Discuss rules with the leader you challenge (such as switching out, or possibly needing to quit if you don't finish in time.) Once a challenger beats every Gym Leader and Elite Four Member, in order, can then challenge me. I reply the same that I put in gbatemp: I made a bit of researcher in the save files and this is what I found: - The size of 1 "save state" is 0x24000. - In the file (512 KB) there are 2 "save state" (just like before), however, the second "save state" does not begins in the offset 0x40000, but 0x24000. - This seems that in the "save state" is only one block/footer, it is in the offset 0x23F8C with 16 byte of size. - The footer structure is (little endian): --- 0x0: Current number of save count (uint). --- 0x4: Size of the block (it is 0x23F9C) (uint) --- 0x8: Constant of the game (in White is 0x31053527) (uint). --- 0xC: Padding = 00 00 (ushort) --- 0xE: Cheksum (unknow to me). Well, the checksum, the most important thing, seems to be changed, I don't know if this is still CRC16, but maybe (I thinks so) GF just changed the initial value or the final XOR value, but I don't know how to find this. However, the pokemon structure DON'T changed, and fact, anybody can manualy put a pokemon of 4 generation (.bin extension) in the save with the correct offset (but ofcourse too, fixed the checksum), except the size of the pokemon in the party, now is 220 bytes. Okay so I was wondering if I needed to use the hex values to make a legit pokemon like on the platinum pokesav? If i do how do I do it on pokegen for heartgold/soulsilver? I don't see it at all like you would on Pokesav... So can anyone help me out?

I was using pokesav for my white ver, all i did was change the gender of a certain pokemon. When i saved and started the game, My player chara's name became ???. It was suppose to be シロロ . But my Pokemon OT, Is still my original name, シロロ . Can anyhow help me with this? Im using woodrpg v1.14. Please help T^T..

I'm not perfect, mistakes can exist in the program still. This program can be used for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, Heart Gold, Soul Silver, Black, White, Black 2, and White 2 for the following tasks: Generating Action Replay codes to create Pokemon, modify the Pokedex, and add Mystery Gift data, including exporting to an XML file that can be dragged to the Action Replay code manager Loading and saving of save files. Pokemon data and Pokedex data can be fully modified. Loading and saving of party and PC .pkm files (136, 220, and 236 byte, encrypted and unencrypted) Adding Wonder Cards to save files Conversion of Action Replay codes into Pokemon information (This is limited.) Finding a PID to match IVs, nature, gender, ability, shininess, and hidden power type/power - with variable IVs Recalculating save file checksums Editing items Editing C-Gear background images Most of what you need to know to use the program is self-explanatory. However, there are now tooltips explaining just about everything in it. There are some things that aren't quite covered though: Windows XP or newer is required. (However, it does run without issues on "emulated" Windows programs for Mac OS and Linux.) (This is only applicable to generation 4 games, and maybe not even HG/SS.) Using codes for party Pokemon can sometimes cause bad eggs upon activating the code. You can just activate it again and it should fix the problem. (You can check the summary after activating each time to see if it's fixed, or just close the party display and re-open it.) I don't think there's any way around this. As far as I know, this has no negative effect on the game when you save, as long as you don't save it with a bad egg. (I'm not even sure if saving with a bad egg would be harmful, but there's no reason to do so.) Pokemon can be dragged around amongst party/box slots. .pkm files can be dragged into and from party/box slots. You can associate compatible files (save files, .pkm files, etc) with PokeGen to be able to easily load them from Explorer windows. Holding alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will display that Pokemon's information instead of requiring you to right click and "View data". Holding shift + alt and clicking a Pokemon icon will set the slot's data with the tab's data. Obviously this is equivalent to right clicking and selecting "Set". If you don't want to receive updates to certain languages, delete the corresponding language file. If you can't figure out how to do something, read the tooltips. For those that don't know, tooltips are an informative message that gets displayed when you stop your mouse pointer over a control (editbox, dropdown box, button, etc) for a short period of time. There's also the questions and answers thread that's being updated occasionally. Note the date on posts in this thread if you're reading through it. There were many changes to the program since its initial release, including a rename, removal of generation 3 support, and other major redesigns. Also, this thread used to be the only way to post feedback/bugs for the program, prior to a forum section being made. That's why it has tons of posts when it's a locked thread.
