What closed house? If you mean the house to the left of the Pokemon center that's the Top Trainer Cafe, which opens AFTER you complete the Stark Mountain quest.

Torchic and Chimchar evolves into a part Fighting type which covers their Rock weakness. That also alleviates them slightly from Stealth Rock damage. Also, Quagsire is usually too slow to fire an Ice Beam against Grass types, and Grass types are much bulkier than you think and will take Quagsire's Ice Beam coming off a 65 base special attack with plenty of health to spare. Then you know it's time to switch.

You need a Pokemon with at least 10 ribbons. It's one Pokemon with 10 or more ribbons, not your whole team with a sum of 10 or more, unfortunately. That place is called the Ribbons Syndicate, and no, I can't go in there either...

Er... I have two Odd Keystones (one from that man in Route 208 and the other in Twinleaf Town)... and I could get more from the underground. And the fact that Cynthia has one... you don't think Lucario is legendary either, now do you? In-game story people other than those stupid Battle Tower people don't carry legendaries in their roster... ever. I guess I'm a Togekiss thanks to that quiz I took... but I don't know.

You haven't seen my Wifi Bibarel, now have you? That thing destroys stuff... and people forget how Bibarel can unexpectedly cripple or destroy teams by himself! -
I don't think we're comparing about who would win. It's about which do you like better... and most people I know like Fire because of their offensive nature. With the exception of Ninetales and Moltres, I find fire types too boring because they're always about hitting quickly and sweeping and die to Earthquake thing... somewhat like a mini-electric type (electrics are broken). Water Pokemon all have different strategies because there's just plenty of them. Some are bulky, some can be sweepers, some can be supporters... I just like their varieties... It's just Ponyta and Chimchar... how boring is that?! Get Platinum... now! They give you Magmar, Houndoom... and Flareon as well as Rapidash and Infernape. The scarcity of fire types makes me wonder why that is the case...

Tropius needs a pre-evo and an evo... there are so many Pokemon they just neglect for reasons unknown. I realize he isn't good in battle... but I like my Sword Dancing Leaf Blade Tropius...

But if they did that the game would be TOO short and there would be a LOT of leftover space... and the game would be too easy. If you want to play a game exactly like that... go play the original GSC... that's all I'll say, for nostalgia value... and *gasp* no EV caps! I feel as if they need to add a lot of things for the game to feel complete... which is unfortunately counter-intuitive to the meaning of 'remake'...

I use Swampert a LOT... but you do have Zapdos with HP Grass to deal with the mudfish. But once your Zapdos is down, it'll be hard to take Swampert down... so maybe if you had another check... Celebi is another Pursuit weak but good defensive Pokemon. You can replace Starmie if you want... although you'll still want a viable spinner. Donphan comes into mind...

I see what you mean... but still. This game felt WAY too short... and if everything were remade as exactly as it had been... there would be WAY too many leftover space left... they're going to have to do more than just remake this game if they make this one. It'll require a lot more... hopefully.

Water types because they're better aesthetically... although I say Ninetales looks better than some of the other water Pokemon. Also, water Pokemon are almost necessary in anyone's team... they support, heal, sweep... they play so many roles... as opposed to fire, which is just hit and sweep... just don't get hit... but just hit and sweep.
