  1. Toxic, anyone? Quagsire has the stats and typing and ability to take Kyogre's moves... and plus be immune to two... and one actually HEALS Quagsire (provided he has the right ability, granted).
  2. This is for FR/LG... and yeah, I got rid of Surf and everything. I'll try again later and see and will tell you what happens
  3. Sheddy is awesome... especially in ubers when there's a 6x Calm Minded Kyogre... and forcing him out is just funny. Funny thing is, Kyogre is like one of the most feared uber in the uber tier, but so many things from the bottom tier can counter him, such as Quagsire with the right EVs and stuff. Now if they would just "fix" the brokenness of these electric types :-/
  4. It is an egg move for Squirtle... that I'm sure about. I've done this in GSC when Refresh didn't exist and did this again in RSE when I wanted Squirtle with ONLY Mirror Coat. As you can see, Corsola is not useless. People don't realize "useless" Pokemon are actually useful by other means not named battling. Corsola is a good breeding tool to get a Mirror Coating Blastoise or Ancientpower Tyranitar. Farfetch'd bridges the Ground and Flying egg groups... Luvdiscs carry Heart Scales... Skitty... well I don't know what Skitty does. Scratch that. X_X
  5. Is #3 because they're too strong and show up everywhere? You should read my spoiler in the above post to see which one I think is the strongest type of them all... but many of you will probably disagree.
  6. Quoted for truth... I guess. I question their placement of Tauros, Marowak, Articuno... and some others. But give them time... I'm sure they'll sort things out. I don't know why they were campaigning so much to get rid of the BL tier though... sure, it's "useless" by competitive means, but still... it made more sense to me than an NU tier dominated by those giants. One of their biggest mistakes back then was sending Aerodactyl to UU.
  7. My Corsola knew both Refresh and Mirror Coat... and the baby Squirtle refuses to learn Mirror Coat but learns Refresh.
  8. I've gotten a Totodile with Rock Slide, Crunch, Thrash and Surf from a father Tyranitar in GSC so far... but I don't know if that counts. I'm still trying for a Refresh + Mirror Coat Squirtle... but it isn't working
  9. Ever tried the starter only run? I think it's the hardest with Piplup in DPP... but I could be wrong. I'm going to try that though... because water's my favorite starter usually.
  10. Don't worry. I've played MUCH longer than that and don't even have one shiny legit Pokemon.
  11. Manaphy... for being a water type with the awesome Hydration ability.
  12. Water- I've always liked water pokemon from the very beginning. Abundant, various, and just awesome... with not many weaknesses and having the power to destroy walls and have generally having plenty of defenses make them my favorite. Grass- I just love plants and flowers. They're beautiful and generally powerful or defensive... and I love to spread status around with them. Sure, they have a plethora of weaknesses, but sometimes they're dual typed to negate some of them. Ice- one of the best offensive types out there. I like their cool nature and just how beautiful most are aesthetically, like Glaceon and Articuno. Unfortunately, their offensive nature comes with a terrible price: being only resistant to its own typing and having four weaknesses, three being common types. Or perhaps I like them because some are part Water... I don't know. It's too bad this is only asking about my top three... or else I would have included Ghost and Bug as my other two... Open to see some crazy rant...
  13. I generally don't like Psychic types... but I do make exceptions and have one favorite and is perhaps one of my top favorite Pokemon... and it's Mewtwo. My second favorite is Gardevoir...
  14. So how does a shiny Drifloon look like?
  15. It was actually just one against Clefable... and there was a similar story like that in Smogon. I read it somewhere... let me see if I can find it. EDIT: It wasn't on Smogon. I found it here: http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=479070
  16. Those criticals do screw her up though. Remember our first battle? Hopefully that NEVER happens again.
  17. Is this your first shiny Pokemon ever? (not counting Red Gyarados).
  18. I tried to get Refresh and Mirror Coat on Squirtle... and so I had a Corsola with those moves... but my baby Squirtle only got Refresh. I don't know what's wrong... but I'm sure both moves are compatible with Squirtle.
  19. I just posted mine up... and sorry. I stole your format, Greencat. I'm no good at making these.
  20. So it was a rain team after all, NeoDraven. How epic. One Clefable taking down a whole entire team... told you she was dangerous!
  21. Yeah, I realize. Not everything is perfected... and frankly, those 252/252/6 EV spreads are quite boring. I actually did take out three Pokemon with gimmicky sets... only because they were least expecting it.
  22. Fly encourages switching... it's still not that great. The only usage it has is on something like Pressure Aerodactyl to Pressure stall... but Aerodactyl's stats don't cry "staller". Lucario's still dangerous... Focus Sash'd or not because he is unpredictable somewhat. You never know if he'll attack physically, specially, or both.
  23. I realized. Hey, NeoDraven, could I post our warstory or would you rather pass?
  24. I was glad to see Crocune works pretty well in D/P too.
  25. Real men like pink
