  1. I have a moderately low voice (when I hear lag on my headset on my PS3) and I have a (lazy) accent... (Unless I feel like talking in any other of my 20 or so accents that I've developed... ...) Whenever there is a t, s, n, w, l, p, d, f, c, or m at the end of a word, I usually drop or shorten it to a mumble... And use improper grammar when speaking (even though I try to type unusually correct for chat-speak... go figure...)... And I say ain't... And other made-up contractions...
  2. I got them when they were all $10... Didn't ever think Treyarch would slash the prices, even in the face of CoDMW2...
  3. I agree 100%... I only have $22 and a $5 McDonald's gift card (B-Day gift) to my name right now and don't usually have the money for those kind of things... A new game, maybe... But a new handheld every 6 months!?...
  4. 1. Really? What's your PSN ID? I'd like to play with you on it... (You play any MP?) 2. Where? (In both...) I've never seen the movie, ever... Maybe it was only released in Europe?... I'm guessing that because the mission name you said is different than the American equivalent; here, it's called "Vendetta"... The one where you first meet Reznov and "hunt" General Amsel, correct?...
  5. <abk100> Dude, you should put things like that in a spoiler... because it spoils it for the rest of those who have either not gotten CoDMW2 or have been ranking in multiplayer so that they wouldn't look like a n00b when they finish campaign... (Yes... I have friends who are like that...) And you're spelling is *cough* a little off *cough*... </abk100> Anyways... After a thorough amount of playtime with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, I feel like I was proven wrong for every qualm that I had with it. The new weapons, including the silent sniper rifles (Yes, every one of them can be silenced), DID NOT break the combat system, it is actually, for the time being, more balanced than ever before! Rockets are actually justified by most players having at least one aerial killstreak equipped that are countered by the rockets. If you want to use rockets, you give up either a pistol, machine pistol, or shotgun as they take up the second slot. This also helps against rocket n00bs, those who spam rockets, by making them use up their supply so they'd be harrier food. The new locations were unique and inventive; the use of a favela and its many rooftops creates an interesting backdrop, even if it is only for two missions. The snow areas make for an interesting backdrop because, personally, I found the lack of vision a double-edged sword; your opponents can't see you as easily but you can't see them ether. There are no vehicles. Infinity Ward didn't take a risk, and it paid-off in spades. Although this may be a disappointment to some, the combat will remain unbroken. Special Ops is the only thing I have a problem with. No, I haven't been that in depth with it, but I have played enough to know that it is a lot of the standard submissions just slightly reskinned. Oh, but what about the Juggernaut? Big deal, a big guy that punches you... How does he fit in a first-person shooter?... Overall, CodMW2 has exceded my expectations; I give it a 10 out of 10. Even though Special Ops was a bummer, Infinity Ward has delivered more of its jaw dropping cinematic campaign experiences and solid multiplayer action.
  6. And the PS3... Don't forget the PS3... Just saw a vid on YouTube that shows the new weapons and perks and I've gotta say, THEY ARE F*!@G AWESOME!!!
  7. And then you'd find out that it's just one big Nazi black-op conspiracy that is interested in harvesting large amounts of ununpentium for teleportation and weapon purposes gone awry due to victims of the failed teleportation tests victims are coming back to life...
  8. It'll be interesting for a few reasons: 1) New weapons that may or may not break an arguably perfect system: A silent sniper rifle has been confirmed. Sniper Rifles were always loud but extremely powerful and reliable. A good sniper either uses guerrilla tactics or holes himself up somewhere that is out of the way. It's easy to counter because they show up as bright dots whenever the fire off a round so you can avoid them or fire back. Now that they can be silent, it'll be much harder to sniff them out, meaning a greater amount of camping. That and the double-edged sword that a heartbeat sensor is could help or hurt things further. 2) A new location? A drastic change in scenery, I'm hearing much more about the South American backdrops these days; they're in Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, Max Payne 3, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Fighting in the slums might be close combat heavy, but then again, FourZeroTwo has put up some nice pictures showing open South American roadways that seem strikingly similar to those of the Middle Eastern stages in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. 3) Vehicles Although snowmobiles would be a high risk, high return vehicle, if too many vehicles are added, gameplay will be put on a damper like in Call of Duty: World at War, where Tank Maps are usually skipped because they are dominated by who can get to the tanks first and hold them the longest. 4) Special Ops mode With Co-op coming into bloom and zombies starting to become tedious, it's nice to see some longer Mile High Clubs. I just hope that the shields don't carry over into multiplayer.
  9. All of them? There'd be A LOT... You could only hold bankai for a little while... Then you'd be open... Anyways, isn't bankai overkill?...
  10. My Own Coughing -Me (Cause I have Swine Flu... Really, I do...) Waluigi Pinball -Mario Kart DS
  11. lol... I've never done either of those due to a horror flick... But I'm ashamed to say that I did have a few nightmares about the RAMPAGE series when I was younger... like 8 or 9 years ago... But back on topic, Zombies is fun now that I don't lag... Der Riese record (once again glitch free): Round 15, myself... Pretty good if I must say so myself... And to whoever said L4D was better, you're lucky you can play that (PS3 here)... But I've got Little Big Planet, Killzone 2, MGS4, and InFamous instead, so I guess we're even...

  13. Actually, you're exactly right! It was either Thursday or Friday morning when I found an article in the News Channel that said that because Nintendo's profit dropped by half in the last fiscal year, that they thought it necessary to make a new system, "PROBABLY A NEW HANDHELD"... I'd be a bit worried if you guys bought a DSi; the article hinted at it being a step up from the DSi... as in more/better features...

  18. I picked up a 1GB SD card and installed bootmii/DVDX/Homebrew channel from that, backed up my NAND, and set that card aside... If you were looking for the files they have an installer that installs all the above...
  19. That's why I installed BootMii and backed-up my NAND; I can brick my wii (not intentionally) and restore it back to life (No, I'm not God) with all my settings, channels, and homebrew!...
  20. Could you point me in the right direction to learn some of this? I really, really want to help you guys with this but am a bit clueless because I haven't heard about many of the programs/networking terms you guys are talking about. Things which I can do/do have: C++ (little experience :frown:), Trainer's Toolkit, Soft-modded Wii, Virgin DS Phat w/Pearl & Platinum, and a PC (Vista)... I'm trying to get into a technical school that my school offers (technically a different school but it's connected) and it offers a bit more on networking than any other classes here... Hell, my school doesn't even offer any real programming stuff at all! Only two options: Scheme or AP (College-level Java), both of which seem useless here... So I'll be able to help, you'll just have bare with me for now...
  21. Probably, because code triggers is a very limited topic (and a basic one too)...
  22. 1. That is probably caused by your router dropping all connections when it resets. 2. I feel your pain, dude. I've been using my neighbor's unsecured connection because it was way better than the dial-up that I have and it only came at select, random times at varied connection strengths. (Thank god I've finally convinced my dad to get a better connection! It's only 3Mb/s but still, I can finally kiss dial-up good bye!!) 3. Does he get home before you? Is he older or younger? 4. Maybe your IP is on the fritz...
  23. The HDD is used primarily to ease loading times, as HottSushiz mentioned, the games get quite large (I'm looking at YOU, Kojima!), and it takes less time to load from the HDD than a BD. Some titles I have that do that are pretty fast even though some are large. Other uses for a massive HDD is music, picture, and video storage and DLC installation... ... I just realized that I only have 20 or so GB's left even though I only have a dozen or so games... An external 2 TB hard drive is looking sexier by the second...
