What I'm trying to do is batch copy a bunch of pokemon from Platinum to SoulSilver... Now that I think of it, I probably don't need to dump the SoulSilver save, I can just inject the pokemon via a code from Action Replay or my Aeckard... Only one problem: the Platinum save isn't recognized by Pokegen...

Okay, that halfway solves my problems... Thanks, Bond, it was much easier to dump them... Now how do I convert them into the correct format to be used in PokeGen?.. They aren't the correct size... EDIT: Actually, the SoulSilver didn't dump correctly... It didn't even dump over 8kb...

Okay, I'm trying to extract two of my friend's saves, from a retail Platinum and a retail SoulSliver, using Rudolph's Wi-fi Backup Tool v0.31f on an AceKard 2i running the latest version of AKAIO... I've set everything up like the faq says to here... I can boot up everything just fine, but three things don't work (maybe 4)... 1) I cannot backup a save; the process fails when it attempts to start writing it to my PC... 2) The backup tool cannot load any files I have had previously inside the folder; it says that the directory is empty... 3) The backup tool does not recognize SoulSilver's save type, even though it's purported that v0.31f of the tool can... ( 4) SmallFTP doesn't run correctly on first execution... I'm running Windows 7 x64 and running it as administrator, but no window pops up when I click it from the desktop (I have it set to run as admin)... A window only pops up when I right-click the icon that appears next to the start button and re-run SmallFTP from there...) Any idea what I'm doing wrong/what's going wrong?... And please don't say use a slot-2, I wouldn't be putzing around with the wi-fi tool if I had one... (Links to any referenced tools, please...)

Most likely, no. I don't think it would be supported on the phone... Nor do i think the phone would take a standard PC compilation either...you'd need special libraries and compilers...

My thoughts on the new version: Good: - Sleek new interface - Ability to choose specific pokemon instead of random teams - The movelists, includes egg moves, wow!.. Bad: - Loss of tiers - Loss of recommended movesets

I agree... What's the point of saying that you 'raised' a virtual representation of a pokemon?.. It's not like you can import it directly from Pokefarm...

(Aside from it being old and me playing the PS3 version, [little difference to the PC version once it's setup]) I like the game... Fulling modding capability literally handed to you... Regular gameplay is meh...story is more meh... But neither matter if you have the right mods...

1. If that's all you're using, and the code only affects the hatch rate, then they should pass the legality checks if they were hatched and bred in-game... no guarantee for any that you generate using non-game methods... 2. It modifies the way the game calculates when an egg will hatch by either multiplying the steps you take, or removing the required steps to hatch multiplier... 3. Yes, in the literal sense, no in the sense that you aren't doing something that modifies a pokemon directly... I do things like this all the time to skip having to do some tedious task...but like kaphotics said, don't lie if you're asked... 4. No, it modifies one of two values that dictate hatching... If it's the multiplier that changes, then it doesn't touch the pokemon at all... If it modifies how many steps each step gives a pokemon, then yes, it affects it, but the data for that gets erased when it hatches...

I want it just because of the power I've seen from the previews of it... The MGS3 remake looks better than the PS2 version and the Super Street Fighter IV for it looks like a flawless port!.. (Now I'm hoping that they can make a Super Smash Bros for it... The only reason the DS didn't have one was due to processing power and RAM conserns...)

When the day comes that I find it, then we can say men and women are equal... Agreed... Either animation or I propose CQ, because that's how we love her... (You ever hear of an in-game Metroid cutscene done anime-style?.. I mean, hell, even in Brawl, she's rendered... *looks at pic above*) I honestly couldn't tell you anything about voice acting... So I'm completely dumbfounded there... Maybe that's due to an extremely (obviously inhuman) bone density and tissue mass?.. IF, AND ONLY IF, THEY TRULY NEEDED TO GO LIVE-ACTION, then yes, I could see either of them in the part... Although the voice would be a tad un-Samus, so to speak, but I'd get over it if they did it as well (BETTER!!!) than Underworld or the Resident Evils... (Off-Topic: Anyone see the new one yet? My dad and I really want to go see it... the theatre here was just sold and redone... They actually have a 3D screen [small town here] and we both heard "Resident Evil in 3D" and immediately $*** our pants...)

And to help with that, I run a Shuckle that uses Sandstorm, Power Trick, and Gyro Ball, he never wastes time with Trick Room switch-ins... And Gyro Ball (although limited PP on a wall), then does a metric $***-ton of damage to Rocks, Poisons... And those neutral to steel... Or I guess Stone Edge could work too... (And now that I think of it, it may defeat the purpose of him walling... But oh well...) I'm still looking for a way to get Synthesis on him though... My friend had me raise his Shuckle for him a while back; it had Synthesis on it... Any ideas on how to get it through egg moves?..
