  1. That's what Battle Revolution and Colloseum were... Just weren't named Stadium... (And had worse rental Pokemon...) You need the virtual support for a Transfer Pak though... Technically speaking, when a .wad (the installation file for Wii stuff) gets installed on a system, the biggest section of the .wad is the ROM of the game... So when you play a Virtual Console game, it is the emulated ROM of the game officially re-released by Nintendo... So if they were to put either Stadium into the VC, it may install just fine, but when you go to run it, the ROM will tell the Wii to initialize the Transfer Pak, and the Wii will laugh and give you a DSi error...
  2. Mmm... I'd have to say a tie between: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - for not screwing up the original and for display of chibi done right... Family Guy - for belly laughs and crass, yet witty societal commentary... X-Play - Don't know why really...the talk of games just sucks me in and I find myself on the couch a half-hour later...
  3. Well, I don't see anything fishy about them... There's a trial period if you really want to evaluate them...
  4. He's not talking about a illegal pokemon, he's talking about making a Delcatty for the OU metagame... To do so, use a pokemon editor, whether you save it as AR or edit into a save is up to you... Create your Delcatty in the editor and use something like SCV's IV/PID generator (for generating IV's, a PID, nature, gender, hidden power, and ability for it) to help you accomplish it. I still use Pokesav, but your preference is up to you... And since you're trying to play the OU metagame, you may want to check smogon to find a moveset that suits you and your team...it should also have an EV recommendation... Just make sure that the stat you want the highest increase to is the one that has the highest IV... That'll make it have a characteristic that'll boost it as well...
  5. I have it, but don't know when I'll get around to beating it... I love the game, don't get me wrong, but I just have been playing a lot more Pokemon/PS3 games lately... But as for the game itself, I love the addition of Bowser as a playable character to the Mario & Luigi series... It almost reminds me of Paper Mario in regards to the battles where you suck in some enemies as Bowser which Mario and Luigi get to fight...
  6. They won't be on the Virtual Console for the sole reason of no transfer pak support... The games would crash upon load... And even if they did get around that (like Wii64 has), then the biggest part of the game would be missing... You can only do so much with rental Pokemon...
  7. I'll repeat myself briefly...
  8. But the cartoonish graphics are due in part to the Wii being the weakest console on the market... The developers cannot push hyper-realistic graphics through it; they need to make up an artstyle to have any sort of visual appeal... Now if the Wii were stronger, the developers would probably have made some realisitic and only used an artstyle when they were feeling creative... That's why it would matter... For proof, look at either of the other consoles on the market today... Cartoony games do exist (I'm looking at YOU Pixeljunk!) alongside games that look like Uncharted...
  9. Wow... Amazing program!.. I love it!.. (My only minor complaint about it is how it doesn't have a progress bar or anything on update...)
  10. It should, although I've never experienced any problems with the Wii using the standard 480i included cable on my LCD... Looks like hell, but it works... I've known of one, but I haven't felt like paying $50 for a bump to 480p. I tried that on the PS2 and it did squat... I'd love a Wii in HD. Even if it's just for the older games, I like how crisp games look on the PS3... For example, I have Wolfenstein3D playable on my Wii, but It's hard to play because the Wii's built-in buffer ruins the graphics and makes the walls look bigger than they are and it hides the enemies on me. Now on the PS3, I also have Wolfenstein3D. It looks SOOO much better: the colors and more vibrant, the graphics are crisp, and the sound is better too!.. But I don't want the Wii to start making games like Uncharted, but New Super Mario Bros. Wii would be better if the grabbable fences didn't look like they'd induce a seizure...
  11. I'd have to say Kingdom Hearts II, hands-down... Not only does it have the most polished system behind it, it has so much to do that I'm still playing it to this day. I can't tell you how many hours I've spent in the Gummi Ship Editor alone... 358/2 seemed rather bland comparatively. It had a mission system which felt so much like a grind that I considered putting it down and returning to KHII. I thought the story was predictibly meh, but because it's on a portable system, I can take it with me and play the multiplayer with friends. Just wish that the Final Form (or whatever you want to call it) that Roxas has at the end of the game could be used at anytime...
  12. I've seen two recently that I liked: Inception: although it's drastically mushier and less action-oriented than the commercial suggests... Kung Fu Hustle: A subtitled parody of a kung fu movie... Switches between comedy and action quite smoothly...
  13. I'm having the same problem... My guess is that the archive is corrupted because "Windows cannot open the folder. The Compressed (zipped) Folder 'C:\Users\<MyName>\Downloads\PKMDS PC To Party Tool.zip' is invalid."... Is there anyone who can re-upload/attach it?..
  14. Besides the nameless rabble of "educational games" on the PC, my first game was probably either Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2 (American version), or Wrecking Crew... All of which were on the NES...
  15. Yes, I do... Things happen, then other things happen that build off of them... Imagine it as dominos stacked near each other. You just happen to press one and it falls. It lands on the next and it in turn falls. It falls onto the next and so on and so forth. They were there and caused each other to fall. At the end one falls off a table and falls onto a bug, killing it instantly... If you were that bug, would you consider that a miracle?... Two bad examples, Greencat... One, if a person were to have "10 inches ripped out" of their back, HOW WOULD THEIR BRAIN BE ABLE TO SEND THE SIGNALS REQUIRED FOR A CONTRACTION IN THE MUSCLES!!! And if 10 inches were missing, how would their vital organs still be intact AND how would they have enough blood to maintain their bodily functions long enough to get to a hospital to be brought to a stable condition?... Two, a computer NEVER does ANYTHING at random... A random number generator gives the illusion of randomness by taking the time in some defined unit of time and then calculates a number based on that time! It appears random because it is highly improbable that two people will use the generator at the exact same time ever... You're biased too... How do you know there is any other worlds besides ours?... How do you know that any other worlds follow different rules pertaining to what we consider supernatural?... The fact is that we do not know either way and, as such, it has no place in debate... Thank you, at least someone shares my opinion... And because medicine is sort of a "guess and check" science because we still do not understand ourselves even close to completely... Amazing chemical, that adrenaline. You even hear about that lady that picked up a car to save her son that was trapped underneath it?...
  16. Which is any usage today... The only time I've seen it mentioned is if they want to be so damn lazy that they can't open the door in front of them and saying "Ladies first..." is just their way of saying "Open this door, I don't want to"... (As for the 'debate' of this being in question, I'll change that...) So you're saying that the problem lies at the woman's discretion?... That the man should do it on the woman's wim?... I don't think you are from around where I am because I've never heard "m'dear" anywhere but on the television and, as I've said above, "Ladies first..." has only been used when women around here were demanding that their husbands, boyfriends, etc. immediately come and do a task for them... I don't think all women are so rude, and I still open doors out of common courtesy, but I think that neither "Ladies first..." or men being such wonderful gentlemen has anything to do with it... I just do it automatically, no thought attached... Even for men/couples as well... But if a woman wants to be so demanding to say "Ladies first..." and start standing in front of a door, impatiently tapping her foot, I think she can open her own damn door!...
  17. Scientifically speaking, yes... If we as humans wish to psychologically interpret the instinctual release of chemical such as serotonin and dopemine by the brain in desirable situations that the brain enjoys, then yes, it means something more... If we do not wish to interpret the release of those chemicals as something more, then so be it... Ooo... That's a tricky one... How do I put this?... Love is a human emotion created by the conscious part of the brain in response to a social situation that is extremely pleasurable to the mind of that particular human. It causes the release of chemicals that give a "natural high" to the brain such as dopemine and serotonin that in turn cause the human experiencing the emotion great pleasure. This pleasure instinctively causes the human to want to repeat the action or situation associated with the release of the chemicals so that it can happen repeatedly. This can lead to situations of repeated or prolonged contact with other human(s) that that particular human finds desirable. Is that good enough for you?
  18. Gaming (A LOT), reading JUMP, watching something humorous on TV, stare inside the imaginary universe inside my head and watch some stories unfold... And also hunting... Gotta love white-tails... They taste good... Especially with sauteed onions...
  19. I'm a bit skeptical though... 3D seems like a gimmick, just like motion on the Wii was... My friend was actually joking about how Nintendo would be the first to jump on the 3D bandwagon that was approaching (I'm sure you've heard of the 3D gaming prospects by now) because it jumped on motion so quickly... Before you hail 3D, ask yourself: How EXACTLY will this improve gameplay? Why would 3D be so important? And because it's a handheld, why does it need head-tracking!?!
  20. Without changing basically everything in gen. 1 and 2, they wouldn't be able to release the games... And they won't do that because they already have FireRed and LeafGreen and (soon to be in the US) HeartGold and SoulSilver...
  21. I tried that a few times... That's where Windows told me that there wasn't a 64bit driver on the media... I do think they have a 64-bit driver though... They have a special installation of the AR Code Manager hidden on the codejunkies site for Vista (and Windows 7 apparently...) and that works just fine...
  22. Can you give a serial number?... It should be some thing like CECH#01 or CECH-2001# with the # being replaced by a letter...
  23. Does anyone know how to install the Trainer Toolkit on a 64-bit system?... I've googled many combinations of words to try to find out how, but I've come up with nothing... My current status: HP Pavilion dv7 "Entertainment PC" Laptop -Intel core i7 Processor (Has more than enough of all the requirements for installation) Trainer Toolkit Software Installed -No driver installed (I do have the original disc and I've checked had windows check it for the driver several times... Windows has told me that it could not find a "compatible x64 driver on the disc"... I've even tried using the ripped installation files available here.) Any suggestions?...
