  1. On the AceKard site, there is a list of authorized resellers... Buy it from one of them...
  2. William Tell Overture - Finale - Giachono Rossini
  3. I usually go by 2, depends on which I like better, they're both usually untaken: YuzuruHitokiri - Two word combination word...Yuzuru + Hitokiri... - Yuzuru: A character I made up a couple of years ago when my friends and I were avid about InuYasha... He was a Raccoon-Human demon hybrid that could phase through water and earthen elements (stuff like dirt, rock, carbon-based materials, etc.) and was fast but relatively weak in stature... - Hitokiri: The legendary group of assassins from Rurouni Kenshin... I was infatuated with the series at the time I was thinking of the name... (Coincidentally, I thought of it for the Pokesav.org forums...Ah, good times...) - Overall, I'm satisfied with the name; it's original and relates to something creative I once did... HirotoSama - Another two word...Hiroto + Sama... - Hiroto: Also a character I once thought of, this time it was during my heavy Naruto phase... Hiroto was a young ninja who was outcast from a hidden village, one that was hidden even from the major ninja villages in the Naruto universe. The village, unnamed, was full of ninjas that specialized in necromancy, the arts of raising the dead. The reason of why he fled was that he used the reanimated corpses of his parents to slaughter half of the village elders and the majority of their black ops protection. Hiroto was not sure why he did it; all he knows is that it felt good and it felt like he was an entirely different person... - Sama: Not very imaginative, literally the Japanese honorific (look it up if you have no idea what that is...)... - Overall, I like the name, but I'm still partial on the Sama part... It almost seems a little cheesy to me...
  4. Try running the latest version of AKAIO on it... AKAIO has built in checks to see if it's real or fake...
  5. You can softmod your Wii and use a homebrew program called Savegame Manager GX to back up the data to an SD card. Savegame Manager GX allows you to backup and restore any save data on your Wii. But, on a somewhat related note, if your going to softmod your Wii, more than likely your going to be using the Stack Smash exploit which involves a copy of Super Smash Bros Brawl, so I must recommend you at least try one or two of the Brawl modsets out there like Brawl+ (Brawl Plus), Brawl- (Brawl Minus), BBrawl (Balanced Brawl), or Project:M...
  6. 1. That doesn't mean that they'll be releasing every GB/GBC game ever made... 2. Two things: - If it's anything like the VC on the Wii, it's not aimed at older players... There is more shovelware on the Wii's VC than there is other games combined... - Super Mario Land and Zelda DX have broad appeals, not just older players bought / will buy them...
  7. Sammy, I think you misinterpreted the topic... It's about a terminal patient having the option of having their physician assist them in ending their life... The patient here only has months to live, and is possibly going to be in excruciating pain for those remaining months... and the physician isn't just killing someone that they think has no chance, they are assisting them in suicide... Now, to answer kuoleva's questions: Am I both for and against PAS; as it is a gray area, it would depend on the situation... If it was a patient who was experiencing pain on a level that is unbearable, it would be fine, especially if it is only going to get worse... If it is someone who has a chance at life, and they are not in a state (such as the above-mentioned pain), I would be against it, as they have a chance... If it has ANYTHING to do with someone wanting to collect on life insurance while the patient is alive, and they would have a say in the PAS, I'm even more against PAS in that case... In short, if it is merciful and eases a terminal patient's suffering, then it should be allowed... If it is for some malicious purpose, then it should not be... See Question 1... I would first try to beat the odds so that I can rule out a bad call on the medical staff's case, and if that does not work, only call for PAS when any pain or suffering becomes too much for me to handle, I go into a comatose state, or I lose enough higher brain function to not be my former self... Similar to my answer to #3, only different in that my partner would have say in the decision as well... We'd both have to agree for the same thing... If I were the only one to have to choose though, it would be the same as #3...
  8. As much as I'd like most of the above to be released, I just don't see Nintendo doing it as there are newer versions of all of the main entries that were on GB / GBC; as there is a huge fanbase amongst children, Nintendo wants to try to please them as well... And being children, a good amount of them probably watch the anime and learn about all of the new pokemon that appear in each episode. So, would it make sense as a business move to release these old games to a fanbase that would expect these new pokemon to be in them?.. And for the Stadium games, as much as i love them, the same thing applies to them with the added problem of them being bigger than the file cap Nintendo has in place for Shop Channel games...if it's bigger than 40MB, and they are, the Wii will give a nasty error if you try to install it...
  9. @Sabeta: Wha?.. It works on my end... Maybe it's your browser?.. It linked to the Leon Foucault Wikipedia page, specifically to the "Death and Afterwards" section... @Okami: 1. Now doesn't that sound just peachy!..*End heavy sarcasm* So you lose everything when you go to heaven? What about the small, harmless things that made you fill with joy? Like a good book and set of building blocks or even a trinket that reminds you of a joyful time of your past?.. Why must you be separated from the things that gave you a feeling of warmth in your heart?.. *Tangent, not part of the argument, just my thoughts on this* I almost get a feeling from this that he's insecure about you loving him and needs to distance you from all your worldly possessions so that all that you experience in heaven is him, and him alone!.. Wouldn't it be better if those who were just that madly in love with the guy forsaked all of their belongings and memories of their own free will? and not have them stolen from under their noses?..*End of tangent* 2. I was recently at a wedding too... It was full of distanced-persons, awkward moments, what I was told was music, and the abrasive memories of my cousin's family situation... My cousin was the one being wed... Which goes to say that you can't generalize the emotions experienced at an event that involves emotions or anything else subjective...no matter what the bible tells you it should be like...(Or television, for that matter... But that's a different story...) People experience these things differently, and will think of them differently, so I can guarantee you that things aren't all joyous or morbid or meh to everyone at the same time...which backs up Rinduri's comment about how paradise is different for everyone...
  10. Foucault was?.. But you were right about the whole 'inability to accept science' thing... I think Copernicus and Galileo were good examples of that...
  11. Hmm... Let's see... How about the idea of God creating the Earth in 6 days whilst he exists outside of time?.. Something I feel that you guys who are in disbelief of the possibility of humans evolving from different species are overlooking: The evolution of humans that you are crying out against has never been claimed as an overnight deal, it has been told to be over milliions of years of time... Think of it this way: Lucy, the famous purported human ancestor was dated at about 5 million years old. And she was only a really hairy human with less intelligence and a more ape-like bone structure than the homo sapiens of today... So, do you believe in math?.. (You acknowledged DNA, wraith, so I'm using that in my argument..) Take the difference in DNA from us and Lucy; a very small number of nucleotide pairs in difference between, yet I shall say 99% similar just for the sake of argument... Take that the 1% of nucleotide pairs that are different, and divide them by 5 million years... (Or just watch me do it...) 1% / 5000000 = 0.0000002% net change per year... Now say that the average generation (a generation being the average time from birth of a creature to the time that they contribute to a birth in which they are the parent) is about 25 years, an over-estimate, but good for argument. 0.0000002% net change in DNA per year * 25 years in a generation = 0.000005% net change in DNA in a generation... Let me rephrase that: The net change in DNA in a generation is less than one hundred thousandth of a percent... So is that such a hard number to fathom? So small...just like the change that occurs from evolution... And just remember that I over estimated those values. It would take even less of a change per generation than that to get from Lucy to us... 1. STRAW MAN ARGUMENT!!! What does Natural Selection have to do with the Frog Prince?.. That aside, Natural Selection is not a god or goddess or controlled by one... (Unless you consider Lady Luck a goddess...) What you said is similar to like me saying: - If you believe the bible as truth, you follow every word faithfully, and intently listen to every sermon or congregation that your church has to offer. You never question it, but denounce everyone else who does. Oh right, throw in about 6 days and our Dear Lord will have created the Earth... 2. That argument is flawed; you neglected the time that it takes for macroevolution to happen, it doesn't happen overnight, it requires many, many, many generations of the species to occur... Let's get this straight, macroevolution is the part of evolution from which a species evolves into another. Yes, that sounds fishy, BUT, you need to know the definition of a species first to see why it is so very plausible. A species is a group of populations that can interbreed and produce successful offspring that can produce their own offspring. This means those species with slight variations you call ADAPTATIONS can breed together and pass those ADAPTATIONS to their offspring. After enough of those ADAPTATIONS, a species finally hits a point where it is different than a lot of others in its species and can no longer interbreed with it. That is then considered to be macroevolution, not just one generation... Oh yeah, you ever hear about how Velociraptors are now believed to have had feathers!? They have been found to have had notches in some of their bones where feathers attached to!.. 3. REALLY!?!? THEY SHOW NOTHING!?!? What about the the bones of the dinosaurs that have ever been preserved? Doesn't that show that the dinosaurs existed at one point? And if they really existed in the Earth's purported 6,000 years of existence, wouldn't you have heard a story or two from sources like the Bible?.. Since you're so quote-happy with the Bible, find me a quote that says that dinosaurs existed in the last 6,000 years... I challenge you to do that... And make it from your King James Bible since you think it's so accurate... If you can't find one, it means that the Earth is more than 6,000 years old, discrediting a key part of the Bible... (Or would you refute the fact that dinosaurs even existed?..)
  12. The article passage you posted makes me seriously ponder the frivolous lawsuits that people make these days... I mean, the guy seems to have done nothing wrong, and the way that the article puts it, the company suing him seems to be suing him for a boatload of coin because he "damaged its reputation." Maybe it's more big business using money to muscle its will around?.. (But I have to question the article's trustworthiness; it holds the favor of the guy being sued by Systemgraph for the entire article... Discussion would be a little bit better if it had both sides of the argument...)
  13. Dragonball Z Budokai 3 Intro Theme - Dragonball Z Budokai 3
  14. Holy crap!.. I missed this thread this year!!. \*o*/ *falls over, foaming at the mouth*
  15. Well, it should, by word of Datel, work with DSi-enhanced games and DSi-exclusive games; I think it says so on the box... And I don't see why it would have any problem because the way codes are run isn't changed or hindered by how the files are setup in them... If Datel has half a collective brain, they'd have each of the enhanced games have two sets of codes and switch between them based on the DS type you're using...
  16. I'm not sure... Could be any number of things, but by the sound, it most likely has to do with the wire connecting to both screens... Sounds oddly similar to what my old, red Phat did (RIP) when it got close to dying... The wires to the top screen stopped working and it caused the top screen to be really bright and have a distorted picture...
  17. I do hate how there are so many modders on it now, even on the PS3, but that's why I have Black Ops now... Much more balanced...
  18. I heard the iPlayer could as well... I use an AceKard 2i though, haven't had any problems with it...
  19. That's what I told him on PSN last night... Makes things WAAAAAAAAY faster... (Although I have some friends on there who can write over 50 words per minute using just the controller...no idea how they do it... Maybe they just get used to it?..) Highly recommend getting a USB port expander (one of those things that turn a single port into at least 4)... The ports are used for everything; I actually have to use 2 hubs to use everything I want...
  20. I have a few: Fire / Dark Dark / Fighting Water / Fighting Ice / Poison Steel / Poison Flying / Poison
  21. Don't worry, the stench comes out after a few times through the wash... I'll try to add you later... Oh yeah, STBE, I think the way you have alts listed is a bit confusing... I think it would be better if you listed the alt's name first, THEN listed that it was an alt... Here's how you have it: CounterfeitYouth (SmellTheBurningEmber) ((Main Alternate account)): SqueabX2 ((Secondary Alternate account)): SqueabFFVII Here's what I'm suggesting: CounterfeitYouth (SmellTheBurningEmber) - SqueabX2 ((Main Alternate account)) - SqueabFFVII ((Secondary Alternate account)) This way, all of the account names would be in a list and easier to read...
  22. "Trying to be a first-rate reporter on the average American newspaper is like trying to play Bach's 'St. Matthew's Passion' on a ukulele." - Bagdikian's Observation I do so love this quote...
  23. >.> <.< *cough*Most people on PSN aren't the required age*cough*it's alright if you fudge the year you were born a bit*cough*It's not like they check it*cough*... <.< >.> Who said that?..
