It got away from being accessible to me at one point, then I just didn't watch it, then I saw a commercial for their Battle Frontier saga or whatever, and the voices sounded different. I then found out that the whole cast for the first 8 seasons or so, were fired and replaced with cheaper voice actors. Rather than try a new voice, they basically impersonated their predecessors. So, knock offs. That turned me off, but somewhere along the line I stopped caring. A couple months ago I saw an episode from the latest season and liked it. Nostalgia might've got me.

I downloaded this off a website found by googling "Space Center Deoxys pkm," second result. It was a Gen IV file, used the time capsule tool to inject it to my White 2 sav. Made it through Pokemon Bank.

ORAS Event - HA Unova Starters + Pikachu
RustInPeace replied to Mega Sceptile's topic in Event Pokémon News
And US console/games. -
I've used Bank many times while on sysNAND and emuNAND, and nothing out of the ordinary happened. Just one thing, somehow a Genesect I received in a trade disappeared when I deposited it to my Box 1 Slot 30 spot. This never happened before or since, but I'm suspicious and don't dare to deposit pokemon in that specific slot now. I never did a system transfer, you should probably look up Nintendo's support page on that. I might do one when I get a New 3DS XL.
-
I think the only way is system transfer, your NNID is linked to the console, and it's how they keep track of your purchasing and download history. You would need to transfer that to the other 3DS. It's a drag that's the case, they should allow for two consoles, owned by the same 1 person, to use 1 NNID. It would reduce the frequency of switching carts for transferring.

ORAS - Rock Head Tyrunt Distribution (All Regions)
RustInPeace replied to Mega Sceptile's topic in Event Pokémon News
Yeah but they said it's a "first come first served" deal, and slots can fill up before the 22nd. The last competition with the all ghost affair, mentioned 50,000 slots. Doesn't matter, I signed up last night. -
My AS isn't completed, my X/Y/OR games are. Going by order presented. Keldeo looks fine. Lugia looks fine too, I have Dream Radar and caught the Lugia. Mine was level 20 though because it's based on how far you got in the Black 2/White 2 game you're transferring any DR pokemon from. Meloetta looks fine, I've cloned and transferred it multiple times. Mew's fine, Victini's fine. Arceus, I think is fine, Celebi is alright. Genesect too. I have the Colosseum bonus disc, Jirachi looks fine.

Couldn't you just backup your cart (if it's completed) with Powersaves and decrypt it, open in PKHex and export as sav and use Gateway and SDF to load that save onto the rom? It makes it so you already have completed the game on the backup.

Sky3DS save back-up / edit in PKHEX
RustInPeace replied to deadlylegion's topic in Saves - Editing Help
It does, but while you can decrypt a Powersave and view and edit on PKHex, you can't inject that save into a cart. Only to a rom, which with Gateway (supporting FW 4.x-9.2) can be done through their browser exploit. Again though, with Gateway, there's no support for 9.4 (probably won't be for a long time), and then there's CyberSave (JP console/cart only). -
ORAS - Rock Head Tyrunt Distribution (All Regions)
RustInPeace replied to Mega Sceptile's topic in Event Pokémon News
The official site in English said "hidden ability," I didn't see Rock Head mentioned. Its real HA is Sturdy. Anyhow, is registration still open? I forgot about it and am trying to train the last 2 of my 6 pokemon team. -
I still haven't caught all the legends on OR/AS because I'm stubborn. It's been over a month and I'm still dead set on a 4-5IV Cresselia, and not catching one. On AS, I'm stuck on the Latias gift part, not yet getting the right one, so that's stopping me from finishing that game. Also the time based legend blocking now has stopped me from getting Mesprit and Uxie. I think because I switched cartridges for playing OR, and their times are not synched. Sorry for being off topic.

Sky3DS save back-up / edit in PKHEX
RustInPeace replied to deadlylegion's topic in Saves - Editing Help
Ooooh. There's nothing really you can do. If you didn't update your 3DS, you would need a Powersaves, Gateway with latest firmware (they only support 4.x-9.2), and either a second game/3DS to trade genned pokemon, or Pokemon bank to stick them in. For now, you can only dump carts with GW and view/edit decrypted Powersaves in PKHex. You can't inject saves into carts, that's why I mentioned the 2 methods. I'm curious about QQ3DS and if PKHex can/will support that. I don't know much about it though. -
unanswered How to make/dump ROMs?
RustInPeace replied to Umberisk's topic in ROM - 3DS Discussion & Help
If you want to play 3DS roms, you can't do it on the computer, there is no working emulator of that kind, you would need a flashcart (Gateway and Sky3DS are the big ones to check out). DS roms can't be played on 3DS I think, except for a newly released flashcart called "QQ3DS." Google search "dumping NDS carts," there's a tutorial on the second result. I never did it myself, I only dumped saves with NDS Adapter Plus (and R4i in case the Adapter doesn't read the cart). -
I read that online battles only allow Gen VI native/hatched pokemon. I wouldn't know first hand though. What is its ability? It can't have the HA. Does it know Moonblast? If so, you had to make it a Clefairy first so it can learn Moonblast, then evolve into Clefable.

I know about Homepass, but that's still waiting and relying on someone else to have Crescent Isle and the Ditto Mirage Island (those are the specific places I want control over). I haven't progressed much in OR since discovering Crescent Isle for the first time in mid December, as I'm saved to that place, but don't exit unless when I soar out of there, the island's still visible.
-
I noticed that in the Trainer Info, it says coordinates (XYZ) and current map under "Map Position." So is it possible to change those to be in a location you want? Namely, a Mirage Spot? There's the Mirage Island with only Ditto and Munna that I want to be in without waiting for the right streetpassing/passersby.

I can't see the attachments, they take me to the "Invalid" message. How did you do this? They're all KB/HB, but did you edit their IV/EV/EXP values? Such a massive undertaking without any save editing would take longer than 2 weeks, I think. I may use some to test out higher streak Battle Maison matches, and generally as "rental pokemon." I always loved that in Pokemon Stadium/Battle Factory.
-
Is it possible to decrypt using my own keystream and someone else's Powersave (same game of course)? With this program and/or any other method.
-
I should've said IVs/EVs, classifying them as part of "stats." Well when you level up a pokemon with IV investment through breeding and EV investment through specific stats, you'll see the big changes. That's all legal, I don't see the fun in giving 999 or absurdly high stat numbers to any pokemon. Even though Battle Maison on ORAS is a blatant copy/paste job from X/Y, I'd still go at it legal and/or legit. Also, the EVs can't exceed 510, again, not legal at all, might explain your Maison troubles.

Recovering Pokemon from Broken Platinum Save
RustInPeace replied to swickers's topic in Peripheral Hardware
How about both? I got the Adapter first, and the interface is a lot easier and simple. Just plug game into USB dongle, back up into PC or download sav into cart. The R4i's backup involves wireless internet communication. Since DSLite's configuration isn't compatible with WPA, I had to set up a wireless hotspot with a USB wireless router thing, so the sav would be downloaded into my PC. The process is kind of long, when the sav's only 512KB. If you have legit carts only, use the Adapter. If you somehow got pirated ones, use the R4i, and know how to set up an open wireless connection that the DSLite can pick up. If you want to backup GBA saves, R4i and DS/Lite. Hope that helps. -
Yes, I did it with both games, but had trouble at first because Powersaves would stop at certain processes. Namely during the x999 code with "error occurred" and just hanging up while applying the code. I didn't try the XOR method part of that post, instead using the Gen VI Save Decrypter.
-
Man, it'd be awesome if there was a mod that included Battle Frontier. I played Maison on OR for the first time a couple of days ago and felt let down. Complete copy/paste, didn't even replace the trainer class. The X/Y Beauty, the Rising Star, these various other exports from X/Y. I know that aspect might sound small, but still bothersome. Mega Flygon, I thought it would come to be, a legit DLC too, but GameFreak doesn't seem interested in doing DLCs, so that's a bummer.

Recovering Pokemon from Broken Platinum Save
RustInPeace replied to swickers's topic in Peripheral Hardware
You were using GTS? I thought you couldn't since Nintendo shut down WiFi for DS/Wii. I have the NDS Adapter Plus, and it's been a godsend. I recently discovered my Platinum cart was pirated, despite owning it for 6 months. I bought another one and was able to extract the save from the pirated one with the R4i SDHC. The NDS Adapter wouldn't read the pirated cart unless I held it in a very specific manner. Doing so though, my fingers would shake, but luckily got the save from there. It's not worth the trouble, so R4i proved to be a suitable backup for faulty carts like that one. The R4i also allowed for GBA cart backing up (if you have DS/DS lite), which was neat. -
If you're playing on the rom, you can do the necessary backing up through SDF and editing the "main" save file on PKHex. You choose a pokemon with right click + view, edit the stats, and hit right click + set. Export the save, replacing "main," import through SDF. Then transfer the pokemon so they end up in your retail cart. If the pokemon you want to edit came from the retail cart, then either trade with the rom or Pokebank while running EmuNAND for the rom to go withdraw the cart pokemon.
-
If you just want to add the wonder card, then play the rom and save (I did after getting the Pokedex). Import the save with SDF, edit it on PKHex and inject this WC6 on the program. Export the SAV and overwrite the "main" file. Import back to game through SDF. I just did that successfully. Next, either trade it over to your retail cart, or Pokemon bank (while running emunand).
