    What's in a Name?

    Here's another question: Have any of you ever regretted the name you've chosen, and if so, why? For me, I do, actually. It has too many bad connections to days when Okami was a mary-sue character and of my anime obsession. It's disgusting. But to change it now would only confuse people, as I've used this name all throughout my teenage life.

    Sorry if this has been covered (I haven't had the liberty to read the latest few pages) but I wonder if the pokemon walking behind you can gather items like the pokemon behind you in Amity Square? I know it's stated in the HG/SS page on the main website that they can pick up items, but what about fashion case items as well?

    Besides his color reminding me of dog vomit, not much, really. I've just always felt a special charm towards its natural color. And technically, while we've all been calling them 'shinies', they're not =/ They're simply a different-colored pokemon. Or so that's what everyone around Sinnoh tells me. Like the boy who was freaking out over the other form of Pikachu being orange.... Saddd. Of course, when I chain pokemon, I can't get past maybe 10, so I've never seen a shiny that was truly my own, the legitimate way, in D/P/Pt

It was funny) But overall he seems to like what he sees on the site! </p></p></p></p></p>

    In response to the asked question: This thread doesn't need a new banner, but since I came in at the time when banner creation was closing and votes were opening, I never got to show of my creativity. I would like the chance to do so, if given a week or so to work ^__^ (I know, I know-I can whip up a nice avatar in 5-15 minutes and I need a week to do a sig But seriously, artist's block does that to you!)

    Oh, I just remembered my fave fantasy book, The Redemption of Althalus - David + Leigh Eddings. Good stuff, a nice twist on the story of good vs evil! <3

    Bringing this back up, I just finished Ted Dekker's latest, BoneMan's Daughters. It is chilling in every possible way. One of his best yet. </recommendation>

    I'm still sitting here wondering why there still isn't a Maybe option button. You know, being in the land of the unemployed, a near-college student, and so on, I probably won't be getting this(ese) game(s) unless I've got the extra time and money to be playing games...which won't be often, I'm guessing. So I'm leaning towards no...but at the same time, I WANT MY MIGHTYENA TO FOLLOW ME NAO. So I want it. I want it bad. And Johto was amazing. So it's a yes. Goshdang, I'm at a maybe! Offtopic here, but I noticed this: I just realized that by scrolling through threads looking for my posts is becoming disasterous because I'm used to looking for my little Okami sprite >.>; I suppose it's now time to put up the sprite in my sig and call it a day!

    Well, then that makes more sense. It's sort of like what the DS Guitar Hero games were like, huh? (And I only know that because my sister bought it >.>) And it makes sense for PokeWalker to be $15 more...because it's like a gigapet or tamogotchi which were high priced way back when, too.

    Aw, I doubt you're that horrible of an artist, Telly. :tongue: Besides, I could have done so much better with that image if it weren't done all in pen...I'm much more crafty with a pencil, and somehow able to manage a tablet alright, too.

    ^You have to admit though, Bidoof was kind of adorable in Platinum xP And also, Zaf, you aren't the only one who still likes Pikachu here. He's the only character I'll play as in SmashBrothers. And finally, I agree with shiny Dragonite looking disgusting and horrible. However, on the side of greenish shinies, I really like the shiny Aggron. He's radawesomeness.

    FIFTY?! Yeah, even though I still have my doubts of buying it...that's still $15 more than most DS games sell over here in America... Interesting that the game will be sold the day after the day it was originally predicted to be sold, however.

    I was SO SHOCKED. Mom and I were sitting in her room, her playing on her phone, myself reading a book, when a newsflash occurred on the station we were watching. I really liked his music as a kid, and have sang a song or two from the Jackson 5 in choir, so I'm familiar with his music in the very least. I mean, he got creepy there for a while, but he was still someone's child, still someone's father, he had a family who loved him...and to me, that is the most tragic part about this loss.

    I don't see what is so hard about catching a Beldum. I had a swarm last night as I was heading to bed, headed to the route with my lvl 100 team, and threw greatballs at it, and took 4 to catch it.

    Well, to a child/preteen (Which I was back then) that sort of stuff is hilarious. Now, I personally hate Ed, Edd, and Eddy and all of the shows out there that are like it (Don't get me started on Spongebob) I'm more of a reality-tv sort of person now that I'm an adult, liking the history channel and discovery health and such. With a few thrown-in others, like Mental and Gilmore Girls
