  1. Wouldn't it be 'unexpecting teams', then? Eh, never mind, who cares about grammar these days . Hmm... I'm assuming that you use Jolteon/Manectric for TW?
  2. Unexpected teams? You mean he'd like a Trick Room team ? Well, actually he would if he was an SD + Mach Punch/Vacuum Wave monkey, but it's a meh for the part with Close Combat. Never seen one without Close Combat. It's like this HM move that can't be Move Deleter'ed.
  3. Or you could, for both physical and special attackers, chain Roselia/Kricketune and Staravia in the Trophy Garden.
  4. It's kind of strange how many people keep talking about how Empoleon's bad against Infernape and Torterra and never considered how many resistances it has. I'd thought this was a thread about which starter would best which and not which starter is the best overall. Granted, it's weak to very common types, but it's there. Since I use Empoleon on a Trick Room team, Speed isn't a problem either. But it also has not-so-stellar STAB typings (Steel makes a horrible offensive type) and a limited Special movepool (only saved somewhat by Ice's effectiveness). Infernape, Infernape. It's like an Empoleon juxt., only with more juice. Excellent STAB typing, great movepool (always wondered why Fighting-types usually get those), high Speed and high offensive capabilities. It's a tie for me between Infernape and Empoleon, but I'd say Infernape is the best overall. Never liked it as much as Empoleon, though, it's too straightforward IMO. I find things like a Victreebel outspeeding Speed Forme Deoxys far more interesting than the said Deoxys itself.
  5. It has been, actually. There are a number of other Mystery Dungeon series based on other franchises. Not really a problem when you're higher leveled and have the Golden Mask/Amber Tear. There's a guide about the questions and the corresponding natures. With a bit of effort, you can have any starter you please. Eh... didn't you get to fight Primal Dialga or what? He's about three times your size. Not to mention Gyrados/Steelix and a number of others. PMD2 was lazy. All Gen III sprites were recycled and the Gen IV sprites didn't look too good either. Gameplay was the same as in PMD. Heck, the dungeons were about the same too. Don't remember a rename function. Also, they could have done with a better system for eggs than what was in the game. Ah yes. Don't recall a skip function either.
  6. Depends, but that's not an option. PMD and PMD2 were fine, Dash was... I had no idea what Dash was meant to do, Pinball... I can't really comment and the two Ranger games were pretty decent.
  7. Two questions: First The funny thing about Pokesav is that when one edits the current win streak in the Battle Tower/Frontier, the win streak DOES change, but not the difficulty. So if I started in the Battle Tower from win streak 0 and modified it to be say, 500, the Pokemon battled will still be laughably easy to beat. Also, since the order of difficulty is screwed up in relation to the current win streak, the Frontier Brain (in this case, Palmer) will indeed show up at the correct win streak, but you'll battle some random trainer corresponding to your current difficulty instead of the Brain, effectively preventing you from being able to quickly battle the Brain and be able to save that hopefully interesting battle in the VS Recorder. My first question is, will Pokemod be able to edit the difficulty in relation to the current win streak for the entire Battle Frontier? Or better yet, though I suppose it would mean more work, edit the difficulty and win streak independently? Second Battle Castle is something like a minigame. There's a currency there (Castle Points), current state of your Pokemon (because you don't get healed there), 'rank' upgrades which allow you to do more and better things with your Castle Points. Sort of like a game in a game. Then there's the Battle Stage, where you choose types of Pokemon to battle, and where the difficulty for that particular type increases the more you battle it. My second question is, will Pokemod be able to edit all aspects of the Battle Frontier, including current difficulty for the Pokemon type in the Battle Hall to the entire status in the Battle Castle?
  8. It screws up the game if the opponent lands a OHKO attack on the Pokemon. Battle music still plays, but no options are available to select. Is there a workaround for this?
  9. Hmm... it's still the same for Speed 9.
  10. How does the Always Holding Item code work? It didn't exactly work for the Battle Castle (where held items are disallowed and removed prior to the battle). If it isn't what I thought it was meant to do, then... Allow Pokemon to hold items in the Battle Castle and Battle Arcade I'm not requesting to be able to use items. Just to be able to prevent the game from taking away the held items.
  11. Is there something I need to do to activate them? Because I tried Speed 9 and the text speed was still the same.
  12. 1)For Pokemon traded between two Gen IV games, what should their Met in Location be? Should they be 'Sinnoh' or wherever the Pokemon was originally caught at? 2)For Pal Parked Pokemon, should their Met in Location be whatever their home region are or 'Pal Park'?
