Here's my take on this subject. For those concerned, this might as well be Science vs. Faith. If you are for science, you will be prone here to say luck. If you are for faith then you are more prone to miracles. That's pretty much how this is going to work, and people's religious views will in fact intersperse themselves through this topic. In general, with regards to Luck vs Miracles, I'm going to say that nobody knows. That's the simple truth. We don't know if Jesus could magically cure people with his hands, or if he was an alien with nanobots. (Bad example, I know) We weren't there. Some of us can claim to have experienced miracles, but was it just dumb luck? For those who are versed in String Theory, you'd say that EVERYTHING is luck. (I only know a very small portion of it, so I wont be getting to deep into it.) Essentially, string theory says that there is finite probability that you take a step forward, and are suddenly on mars, and your next step takes you back to earth. This chance is so small it's not even worth considering, but a chance nonetheless. String Theory drove Albert Einstein insane in his later years, as he tried futilely to disprove it, as in his mind "No God would create a world where things could be left to 'Chance.'" (Ftr, I do believe most medical advances and many discoveries are made completely by accident. Luck? or a celestial hand guiding them?) Even Stephen Hawking's world renowned Physicist says that we can't prove nor deny the existence of any Deity. " We cannot disprove the existence of a God, but science makes him unnecessary." I myself am an Atheist, but one who is tolerant of religion since I was once Catholic, and understand the needs and desires for religion. So in my view. If you want to call it insane luck, go ahead, it probably was. If you want to call it a miracle, well I'll disagree, but that's your own prerogative. So long as you don't flame me, or try to convert me, or whatever, we can get along just fine. TL;DR: We don't know, neither side can prove anything for sure. Get over it, believe in what makes you happy.

The main downside to any form of migration, is no Dream World abilities, so really. If a pokemon has a good enough DW ability it shouldn't carry rocks, but those who have extremely lame ones, well they'll be having fun their way. Ftr, TMs can be passed via breeding. The Male must know the TM, and the baby must be capable of learning it. I believe both need to be the same species as well.

This is Gamefreak's way of "Nerfing" Stealth Rocks. I can Promise you that because of Gen-IV, it will still be very prevalent in teams. The only difference, is that it wont be on leads anymore, and will instead by reserved for Bulky Pokemon who can set it up on the opponents switch out. Spikes might completely vanish, with the state stall will be in. Politoad and Nintetales wont be Uber. They'll be OU. Now that we have all 4 weathers viable in OU permamently, we don't have to worry so much about them being Uber. The main reason that Drought/Drizzle would be uber is because of super amazing over-centralization. Everyone would have to run a Rain Dance team or be swept. Here; however, it's a matter of keeping your Weather inducer alive. Gen-V metagame will likely be extremely weather friendly, and Trick Room will shoot up in usage too. (It will be difficult for weather teams to play when their speed boosts are now against them.) Bulky/Hyper Offense will be the main play styles, either with or without weather, and Stall will be nearly impossible, but still do-able if the person is good enough. (A friend of mine is already working out plans. He loves Stall more than any other play style.)

I don't know if this has been adressed yet, but you can in fact keep your save files. all you have to do is rename the patched file to whatever you originally had it as. (I believe for most of us this will be b-Pokemonw or b-pokemonb). This will allow you to use your save file. As for things I would like to nitpick about. It's slightly annoying that the Pokemon Status Pages are in Japanese still, even though I know the order, I would still like to see "Attack" "Defense" etc. The other protagonists name's are Cheren(Might be wrong) and Belle, Cheren is a male for sure. I would like the names of who I'm fighting to be translated, but that's probably a bit much. I think that's all I've got to say for now. The most important thing here is to rename your game so that you can keep your save file.

Perhaps, just to avoid such matches, it will go straight on up to Uber. Keep in mind if they were both Eccentric, they would need to come in simultaneously. In all honesty though, I think Politoad's rise from edge of obscurity to potential Uber overnight is bigger history.

I wasn't aware Ditto Copied Stat Boosts as well. I thought he only copied Base Stats. Even still, this might (Big might) bump him to Ou, or more likely BL. His main fault is everything is set to 5 PP, so he wont be around for an overly long time.

Yeah, over at GBATemp I believe half the people are saying. "Quit wasting your time on freaking Pokemon. You already know it's going to come out in the states, so quit being and impatient prick and help us on the games that will never see the light of an american shore." The ice one doesn't get Cold World as his signature. He gets two moves, both I believe have like 140 Base Power, that deal damage on the second turn they are used, and i think you're allowed to attack on that second turn as well, for double up damage. One of them has a chance to paralyze, and the other has a chance to burn. So don't worry about him getting gipped or anything.

You guys are being greedy. You realize no generation has given us more than 151 Pokemon until now, right? My only complaint is that we need 1 more pokemon to round off at 650.

The friends name's are Cheren and Belle, and I'm pretty Cheren is a boy o.0

I personally don't care too much about random storyline bits. I'll figure that out during the english release. The only story bits I care about are "Let's go to route 7" when I'm at route 18. This way I don't get lost. Other than that I only care about the menus, etc. Great work all of you, and I hope to see a version 1 soon.

I'll give that I was hoping for something more majestic like Zekrom or Rashirem for the third Legendary in this Trio, but imo it still looks cool. (Why does GF keep making Pokemon with Phallic heads. >.>) I do hope Pokemon reaches the 1,000 mark. Eventually though, I will want them to tone back a bit. Keep making new games for sure, but instead stop giving us new Pokemon. Eventually we wont be able to keep up anymore.
