  1. Because 5 isn't enough, 10 is too standard, and 11 is awkward. Or it has some later significance. It's probably a little random.
  2. Those are in Wii games. Why do you ask?
  3. You don't need to worry. Notes in orange do not mean the Pokémon is illegal, they only indicate things that are common to hacked Pokémon (like abnormally high IVs). DPPt trash bytes aren't a reliable way of determining legality since they can be removed by the name rater. However, if you want to add them back for some reason, read this thread: http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?15732-Generation-4-hatch-trash-bytes-research-help-wanted-for-foreign-games
  4. There's a chance he converted mp3 to swav with an sseq playing it on loop, and put it into the sdat that way. That or converting it to a stream (strm might be the format). That might not be the same though. I have no idea how to do either.
  5. The link you provided is for v3.0. I'm guessing you accidentally uploaded the wrong one. (Like when I accidentally uploaded the wrong wonder card a while back... Yeah...)
  6. He might have sequenced his own midi.
  7. Try again with Pokegen and see if that works.
  8. What you see in F12 is mainly the result of server side code, which cannot be simply downloaded. It would require advanced hacking skills. And enough determination to ignore the law and try to break advanced encryption. There's no likely way for this to legally happen, so no, this is not possible.
  9. There's demos for some games. He may have meant that.
  10. Please use the General Request thread for submitting Pokémon requests. Although you can use Pokegen to make a Pokémon for yourself then use Pokecheck.org to receive it.
  11. No, you need to use a save file that has been played enough to get the C-Gear and have generated a game sync ID.
  12. Pokemon names should end in /FFFF if there's enough room. If there's more, they should end in /FFFF/0000/FFFF, where /0000 is repeated 0 to however many times it will fit in the character limit (numbers and letters after / count as one character). If a nickname is shorter than the original name, instead of /0000, use the original characters. Ex. A nicknaming a Riolu to R R/FFFFolu/FFFF/0000/0000/FFFF (I don't remember off hand the exact character limit, possibly nine because your Gardevoir had no trash byte errors).
  13. 3.141592653589793238462643383 Without looking it up. The next person doesn't know the first 3 digits (counting before the decimal) of e^1.
  14. You can use codes to get legal Pokémon too. Legit = obtained through only in-game methods. Legal = could have been obtained with in-game methods, but whether or not it is legit is unprovable because it could have been hacked. Illegal = could not have been obtained with in-game methods. Hacked = obtained with the help of cheating devices. Using ARDS codes qualifies.
  15. If you have codes, there's no need for abuse.
  16. Hit. The next person will miss when shooting a basketball into a goal while blindfolded.
  17. 1. Once per day 2. You need a real Pokémon. The program does what could be done normally, just really fast. 3. I don't think so, you should be able to keep your items.
  18. Moved to Save R&D since that's where most other save programs are.
  19. Pokecheck has the more updated legality analysis (it even polls Nintento's server for part of its check). So Pokecheck is better for legality analysis.
  20. Miss The next person is a little OCD.
  21. Hit. Two of them. The next person is a Christian. (No one start a flame war over this, please. I've had trouble with this in the past.)
  22. 1st off, don't confuse Pokegen with PokeGTS.us. Next, are you doing a connection test? If so, try avoiding that.
  23. Welcome Salado! In another thread you mentioned you only use Paint for image manipulation. If you only used it for your avatar and signature, then that's really amazing.
  24. Hit. The next person knew that in Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, Pokémon that used Detect can be defeated by throwing lots of sticks, iron thorns, and pebbles.
  25. Welcome to the forums, evo2587!
