    Ah so the issue is you use any save editors. Try checking if any cheat codes work for those games. Then proceed to use party modifying codes

    Oh you mean rom hacks that has extra entries. You’re could try using batch editor to convert to an editable species, change EVs, then change the species back

    Perhaps upload the Mon and the screenshot of the issue, so that we can have a better idea of what’s going on.

    Yeah. Sorry, maybe I wasn’t clear earlier; details are tracked and converted across games using HOME tracker. So stuff should have HOME tracker if the main entry point isn’t Bank, LGPE or SWSH.

    Theoretically one can infer that some hacking was made, but realistically they don’t check every Mon on the entire database. Tho it’ll be pretty telling if they decide to hone in on particular users. so technically okay, but still risky.

    Open the program HxD drag the save into the program. Go to the last line of data (you'll notice the left being 00020000) Delete the last row Save. This only applies to saves of that size. make sure you keep an unedited backup of the file somewhere else before you attempt to do anything you're not sure of.

    I don’t know off the top of my head. You probably should grab the dex list in SWSH, sort by ID, then do a vlookup

    If I’m not mistaken, HOME messes with your Current OT status on the Mon without assigning a NotCurrent Handler, or something.

    If they were legal before they moved to HOME, yeah. Just trade to get a valid NotOT/Current Handler, heal to fix PPs, and all should be good

    I think one of the correct balls should show up no matter what in legal. And as for met data, I may be wrong but I think only the original HOME account sees it? let me test that real quick Edit: First met info still showed for me even in a different HOME account, on mobile.

    You're gonna need a different way to extract this save. Bunch of garbled nonsense, and at some point started showing YO-KAI watch in the file. Presumably 3DS + Checkpoint isn't working for you. Try dumping it with TWLsaveTool.

    Pokefinder doesn't work for pokemon caught in every Gen. Anyhow, different tools work for when a mon is caught within a different generation game: Also, if you can't figure any of the tools out, just use PKHeX > Tools > Data > Mystery Gift Database or Encounter Database. It'll generate a properly legal entry for you.

    No idea why the mon is in quotes. In any case Pokefinder isn't for Gen 5 stuff. Read the options and menu labels more clearly. Getting gift database in PKHeX to generate one for you would be enough.

    What pokemon are you trying to generate it for?

    Was it in fact, showing you the green ball then? If it was showing you neither the Green or the ball you caught it in, then it'll be a problem

    make a duplicate of the save, then redeem the egg in-game.

    hack checks for Gen 1/2 are pretty minimal, especially when it comes to eggs, because there aren't much datapoints nor correlated stats. If you look at the stats of the Ditto and Haunter, it may be possible to determine via DV inheritance whether the Gastly is indeed real.

    If it already had a tracker, then changing tracker is normal, if it enters from a different HOME account. Normally all the relevant data from the tracker is brought forward into the new tracker. Also, HOME probably displayed those entries with the Strange Ball I imagine? (the Green ball) It tends to show relevant data from the game it last came out of.
