  1. Based on everything you said, yup. Doesn't matter if RNG'd or SR'd, the pseudo RNG process for Gen 3 and Gen 4 games, as well as the relationship between PID and IV, are well understood. Even if we were to ignore Method 1, and include the other known Methods for GBA/NDS games, none of the IVs fit the bill. Sounds hacked to me. Maybe he used a Shiny code. or maybe he just plain up hacked it into the game. Who knows.
  2. As you can see, the PID doesn't yield the same IVs. (look at Method 1 entries) For the record, did he RNG it on emulator or flash cart or retail cart?
  3. Yup, if it says PID-Mismatch, it's highly unlikely it was SRed, and more than likely hacked. Legal shiny Shaymin's will appear as so: And illegal ones (due to PID Mismatch): And illegal due to wrong game (but right PIDIV) Still, give me the PID, IVs and Nature, and can run a check.
  4. The copy-pasted tracker will work on the new mon. However, if they ever decide to run a check, they'll know you hacked it, cause how can a mon's details transform into a HoO Arceus? XD So best case scenario is to transfer a Arceus with the exact stats (PID, IVs, Moves etc) as the HoO one, then paste over the tracker. But at that point, won't they just be clones? Since location data gets wiped, I don't think there's any data left that shows it was HoO..
  5. Eh, the tracker trackers which game sent it in. Granted, it's stupid they allow from SWSH -> HOME. So possible, but highly not recommended.
  6. I was informed that method (transferring Gen 8 through Gen 7) no longer works.
  7. Switch event serial codes have been region-free thus far, no reason it'll suddenly become region locked. and even in the unlikely scenario that is does, you can change a Switch's region settings in its settings..
  8. Redemption of physical pre-booked ticket was posted to August in Japan, so expect it to be at least around then. As for internationally, probably 1-2 months before the movies premiers there..
  9. no idea where it is. Such a value existed for LGPE, so I'm pretty certain it exists for SWSH, just having trouble locate it. Try playing a new save game (make sure you back up your old one). If you can sign up there, then it's almost definitely that. edit: It's possible they no longer have the value, but instead use your Nintendo Account (the thing you link to your profile). Make sure you run a few different tests..
  10. Without a save the is directly at "before when I could still sign up" and "after I can no longer sign up", it is hard to pinpoint what is the flag/value making you unable to sign up. I can only assume that is a flag that gets set when the game detects illegal activity. As it is, this is a wild goose chase. Try completing another save (or using a completed save) and see if it's possible. Also possible the server is blocking your Game sync ID (of whatever the equivalent is on this gen). Try blanking it out, then connect to the servers (so that you get a new one), then trying again.
  11. There is no need to put up the same post everywhere. Can they be hacked into the game as eggs: yes. Would the result of them hatching be legal: not legal. Even if you level it to it's encounter level: not legal. Would it be tradable: not tested, but unlikely. Certain "way too illegal" entries cannot be traded. This sounds like one of those.
  12. As reported by Coro Coro, players that have a Zarude in their party would be able to get this cap in the Isle of Armor. Important to note: This accessory does not presently exist in the base game. Wait patiently for the Isle of Armor update. (While Pikachu dons this cap since game version 1.0.0, as of 1.1.0, the player cannot wear the cap.) Source: https://twitter.com/SerebiiNet/status/1271401174969864192 Edit: If I am reading the magazine right, it can be received from a lady by the ticket stand at the train station on the Isle of Armor.
  13. You didn't mention which group you wanted, so I've taken liberties with it. Besides already shiny Pokémon, I also made every mon you own has the same TID/SID combo as you now. <file removed due to file name>
  14. If you want someone to do the TID/SID edit, that can be done. But you do realize you originally requested for the wrong thing right?
  15. Full Pokédex in HOME, don't have any other console? As of now, mostly no. Since SWSH don't have all mons (as of now), the only way to get all mons into HOME, is via Bank transfer up. Theoretically you could get help to transfer from someone else's Bank to your HOME, but you'll need a premium subscription for HOME. If you want to ask for help regarding someone else transferring up to you, this isn't the place for that.
  16. Maybe you're confused about something. It's dependent on the TID/SID of the save, not the Pokémon. Any mon with Cute charm will suffice. Read this:
  17. Moved to save editing helps. Latest (at this point in time) is #18 Gigantamax Festival. Wild Area Events can be found here. Make sure you read the file description to enact the changes.
  18. erm, they may have some unknown used property. Effectively: Only modify stuff that has "extra bytes" if you're sure what you are doing.
  19. Making it hatch faster, yeah. Getting it faster? It's in the save, but I don't think the location for it is documented. Unless I'm proven otherwise, the answer is no. (and even if it can, you're only making the current egg faster, not subsequent eggs. If you want all eggs to be received faster, you need to activate some kind of cheat code;RAM edits, not save edits.
  20. Those "Extra Bytes" are part of the pkx structure, so there isn't "additional bytes" on top of the standard file format. Your original statement was a bit misleading; I don't know about the others, but it gave the impression that your file size for pkx was bigger than normal by 17 bytes. Rather, these bytes usage are not known, so "extra" in the sense of "bytes in the standard file format that it is not known if it's used or how they're used".
  21. Well as long as you can set it XOR=0, it will still work, cause the newer games use the older TID/SID combination expression for older games. Also since it's XOR=0, the PID won't change when imported up.
  22. maybe it's the latest version or something, but that causes that particular Blastoise to freeze. (with any other entry that didn't batch edit for me, it causes a freeze too. So this isn't an isolated incident) Kaphotics also already kindly explained the issue, so I can only assume it's being worked on (since we know what causes it now)
  23. Always check the guide. As long as the video's content moves along with the same guide, then the visual representation is all good. Use at your own risk, of course. There's always a slight risk of bricking. Do note that NTRboot is the method that users perform to get out of bricking, so keep your nands safe, may be useful for this method, in the unlikely chance you brick.. okay that's good Install CFW first. Once CFW is installed, and you exported your save, you can use PKHeX. Don't get ahead of yourself. IKR! No worries. At least you made another post, so I could split them here. Check the subheading and descriptions in our forums, that'll probably help you come to a decision on where to post :3
